Hambone's BBQ Smokehouse

When I think of Bellflower food, Hambone's, Taco Nazo, and Fronk's come to mind. I last visited Hambone's in 2016 and would order the 5 St. Louis Ribs meal. This time I used DoorDash to order them again along with Catfish Nuggets, and 1 lb of Brisket. Everything was hot, fresh, smokey, and delicious. I had Macaroni & Cheese, Greens, and extra BBQ sauces on the side. The sauces were flawless and the catfish was crispy and satisfying. Hambone's continues to offer quality BBQ at reasonable pricing.

One of my most favorite places to eat In Bellflower! There were plenty of parking spots. We were seated right away and menus were given. Water came right away. I got my usual 5 baby back ribs, 2 sides, and cornbread. My friend got the same. The food was delicious and we were both happy! The place is always busy, but there is plenty of seating. It was a delicious meal with a great friend. We will be back! Please try it and I hope you enjoy it!

SOLID BBQ restaurant in downtown Bellflower. This is my second day in a row, so.... yeah!I had the pulled pork and a side of garlic mashed potatoes day 1, and mac & cheese day 2. Pulled pork is phenomenal. And quite frankly, that Tangy sauce is some of the best I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were outstanding, but the mac & cheese disappointed as it was dry, not creamy.Service was good and all in all, the BBQ here is top notch.Go here.

Just WOW! I ordered a 3 meat plate with 2 sides, I selected a leg quarter (cornish hen size ) with a touch of bird flu (anorexic), sliced brisket (where's the beef?) and tri tip and again ( where's the beef?) The malnourished chicken did fall off of the bone, the thought of sliced brisket was tender as well as the tri-tip, my meal that I ordered via delivery at 12:30pm they were already scrapping to fulfill my order or they are naturally "reserved" with their portions. The portions I received were they were sample size portions. The audacity to sell 3 meat plates for $23.00 ( sample size portions) is highway robbery.

First time here! I ordered 2 brisket and 1 chicken taco on a tuesday and the price of each was $2 so it was a great deal!! I gotta say their mild and tangy BBQ sauce was one of the best i've had personally. Would definitely be back here! I gotta be honest tho service was not the best in regards to the super long wait, not answering the phone to allow ordering ahead, i'm pretty patient when it comes to waiting but our wait was a bit overboard! But I gotta give some grace because there was only one cashier up in the front doing it all! Ambiance is nice got a nice spacious indoor seating area and for parking there's a front and back area to park! Will be back for the tuesday taco deals & a nice BBQ meal!

Best bbq in town catering is great too. I bought it for my husband's birthday it's pricey but worth it he loves the greens from there every thing is tasty

BBQ meats are always tender.Mac & Cheese is not to be missed.Greens however, are hit and miss.I've had catered meals from them twice.I've purchased meals here a few times.Now they're in downtown Bellflower. Nice venue, with a sit-in section, and a take-out section. Next to free parking lot, small park, and comedy club.

Liked Hambones food very much for wonderful bbq at reasonable prices. However, restaurant at this location is permanently closed.

I can't say enough good things about Hambones BBQ! The food is always top-notch, delicious baked beans, creamy mac & cheese, and incredible baby back ribs. All of the sauces are great, but my personal favorite is the tangy one. I recently had them cater my daughter's baby shower, and the food was absolutely amazing. We had baby back ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, and all 60 guests had nothing but great things to say. Everyone loved the food, and there was plenty to go around I even had extra for people to take home! The owner, Keenan, was professional, punctual, and extremely generous. He even offered to leave his warmers in case we needed them, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Fortunately, the venue had stove warmers, but I truly appreciated the extra effort he made to ensure everything went smoothly. The pricing was very reasonable for the amount of food we received, and it was worth every penny. Our cowgirl-themed baby shower was the perfect occasion for some amazing BBQ, and I will definitely be using Hambones BBQ for future events. 10/10 recommend!

I keep trying to support this place but I am done! We ordered food via door dash on Sunday 2/23/25. We ordered ribs, mac & cheese, greens, potato salad, and peach cobbler. The food is a hit and miss and the service is bad. They forgot to put our mac & cheese in the order and when we called they couldn't care less. We asked for a credit back to our credit card to for them leaving our mac & cheese out. They told us they couldn't do that, but we can come and pick it up! So I had to drive there up there after paying DoorDash extra for delivery . When I got there, I went to the takeout side and waited 15 minutes and no one said anything to me, the girl working kept walking by and didn't offer to help me so I went around to the restaurant side and waited a few minutes and finally someone asked me if they could help me. When I explained I ordered using DoorDash and THEY left my mac & cheese out, they did not care! They just told me they would give me my mac & cheese And they could not credit my account I would need to contact DoorDash for credit. They didn't offer me anything not a chicken wing not a side order not a free side on my next visit nothing! So I asked was there anything they could do for my huge inconvenience and she (Maddy who claimed to be the manager) offered me a dessert. One of the choices was banana pudding so I chose a banana pudding when I got home instead of having a banana pudding, I had another peach cobbler. Well damn they couldn't even get that right. Terrible service. The sides were ok but the ribs were awful! They were tough and flavorless we had to drench them with barbecue sauce. The next day we put the leftover ribs in the oven and cooked them about an hour and that really helped us get the meat off the bone, Shame on them!
