Grappa Lounge

The Grappa Lounge at the DoubleTree Hotel in Anaheim is a fantastic spot. The drinks and food were excellent, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day at Disney Resort. A great place to relax before heading back to your room! Also, service was exceptional and friendly.

Convenient place to eat dinner if you are staying at the Double Tree in Anaheim but not the best options. The hostess was friendly and welcoming as was the server very friendly and funny. The price for the food is a little to high for the quality of food you get; our steak and spinach was flavorless but I had a huge chunk of butter on top of meat when served. The pasta was a healthy serving but same problem, bland sauce with no flavor. Also they start you off with bread for the table that looks like hamburger buns. Might not try anymore dishes, they did serve us complimentary ice cream for the birthday boy.

We we're looking for a nice place to drink after a long convention.Our hotel (Marriott)was packed and after making the mistake of going to the Palm tree cafe (another review) We find this little gem!This is a very laid back bar with a great bartender and drinks that were strong. We were amazed at the buffalo wings. One of the best I've had in Socal!!! We will be back soon!

Really low key bar. If you frequent hotels such as the double tree you'll find this place very familiar. The drinks aren't the most exciting, they are all nearly overpoweringly sweet. It's great if you can't take a hard drink or if you feel like something fruity. My rating is for the unreliable hours, I walked down from my room and found it closed even though it said it was open for another hour.The second night I came down and it was open but there was no bartender until I had the front desk find her for me. Tried a couple of the signature cocktails and then I just went for some straight bourbon to get the sweet taste out of my mouth.The selection isn't bad but the drinks could be better.

Typical hotel bar located in The Double Tree Suites.Mixed drink prices ranged from $8 to $10 depending on the time of day you imbibed. Four stars because of the chicken wings, warm pita and fresh hummus we had one afternoon. They ROCKED !!!!!

The place is nice and all for a quick drink. The out wall was lined with high tables and barstools, most set up to seat two people. The regular tables are placed in the center of the room and and could see four people each, but there will always be foot traffic passing by if that is a problem for those who are trying to carry on a conversation at their table. I had a beer while my friend enjoyed a mixed drink that she enjoyed.

This lounge is a little bit hard to write up. Let's start with the atmosphere. It is a cool looking modern lounge located in the Doubletree. I found the space to be quite inviting and comfortable. It has a gorgeous bar with very comfortable seats.As I sat down at the bar the bartender quickly greeted me and smiled and asked what she could get me to drink. She then handed me their bar menu. And stated that I could order anything off of that menu until 5 o'clock, and that's when the dinner menu came out. At this time it was about 20 min to 5 so I decided to order a cocktail and wait for the dinner menu. In the meantime I ordered their tomato bisque soup. I love tomato bisque soup. I've eaten at all across this country and there have been white variations of the soup but overall I am found tomato bisque to be fairly consistent. This is the first restaurant that I had to send the soup back. It was extremely bitter very thick almost like a marinara sauce with too much tomato paste. The bartender quickly took the soup away and brought it to the back. Stated that they wouldn't be happy it was coming back because they think that their soup is the best. As the manager came out to take it off of my bill he never even looked my way to apologize for the soup. Simply stated to her that is their number one seller. Usually a manager will at least talk to the customer and apologize. It was almost as if he couldn't understand why I was sending it back. Outside of that I ordered the scallops which came out very good. The price of the cocktails were reasonable for a hotel and the price of the scallops were also reasonable. All in all the experience was good but the experience with the tomato soup left a "bad taste in my mouth ".

This has been my third visit in as many days, because I'm staying at the hotel. The first time time, we waited about ten minutes before looking for the bartender because no one was there. Eventually, another employee went and found her. The second time was the end of the night and the service was fine. The third time we ordered nachos and they were not good. It seemed like the beans weren't rinsed because it ended up being a mess of bean juice soaked chips. The bar is clean and comfortable, the decor is very basic but nice. If you're staying here and need a quick drink it's fine. However, there are much better places in the area.

This bar is incredible! The bartender, Nathan, is so friendly and makes superb drinks! The mai tai is delicious! Make sure you ask Nathan for his version!

I was in town for an convention. I was looking for a quiet place to enjoy a cocktail with my lady friends, and came across the Doubletree lounge it was an calm and restful experience. My lady friends and I enjoyed some mimosas, and the bar keeper Denver was such a joy, we enjoyed his company. We enquired about the restaurant and he said see Miguel and we went there for dinner, and Miguel was a true delight, we all loved his banter. The chef's were very crafted as well our dinner was soo good, I enjoyed the spaghetti bolognesi it was perfectly cooked.
