Good place, I tried them out because they catered an event with braised pork belly, but they don't have that dish at the restaurant :(They got a good pork skin jelly salad. pretty good. The XLB is better than DTF in my opinion. Would come again but got to try other places like prince dumpling. Apparently also owned by Ji rong so i hope they carry over the braised pork belly. Pretty long wait and horrible parking.

Amazing food and boba tea drinks. Terrible parking and wait. My friends and I had the cucumber with XO sauce, sliced beef & ox tongue in chili sauce, xi'an cold noodles, pork soup dumplings, shrimp fried rice, wagyu beef burger, green beans with XO sauce, and a selection of tea drinks. Everything was amazing although due to the amount of food we had, the cucumbers were touched the least by far. I'm Korean raised in SFV so I'm probably not the best judge for authenticity, but I'm pretty sure this would impress most Asian parents. Service was also really good with a friendly, pink-haired girl stopping by to top off waters before any of us even realized we wanted more. The only weak spots which are not in the restaurant's control is that being able to find a parking spot in the plaza is almost like winning the lottery at meal times. Additionally, be prepared to wait at least half an hour standing in a small sidewalk area trying not to step off onto the pavement where cars are constantly driving back and forth looking for parking.

Update: our party of 8 was there 12/23/24. Seated around 6:30pm. I see the shadow of dan tai fung here. Food was excellent. But service was not. We came in as a big group. Patiently waited for about 30 minutes even we had put name on waitlist way ahead of time as suggested. They obviously were not ready for big crowds and no experience on serving big tables. After a long wait, we ordered bunch of food. Then ALL FOOD CAME ON THE SAME TIME! appetizers, soup, dumplings, noodles, rice, stir fried, everything!!! We felt so rush because we had to make room for whatever clamping up. After all, food was good. When we pay for our bill, we spoken up about the issue of food service timing. They said it's our issue for not requesting. I think we expected too much from them. It's not comparable with dan tai fung.

Caught the grand opening yesterday for lunch & I'm seriously so impressed so far already! This place is owned by the same people who own Ji Rong in the same plaza so the decor & interior design gives really high end yet modern ambiance. There was a line of people waiting & 7 parties ahead of mine, but we were able to get seated within 15 minutes & the service was impeccable. The waitresses were sweet, attentive, and quick. The food was definitely up there. I was really pleased with the crab & pork XLB with the thin wraps with yellow crab soup peeking though as well as the truffle kurabata pork XLB (they were out of this world & way better than DTF). The Wagyu rouljiama was flaky yet wonderfully fatty & flavorful. I really enjoyed the sweet & sour pork, more than Prince dumpling. The dumplings & stir fried snow pea were also solid .The two dishes I'd say skip on would be the truffle chicken (better at seafood harbor & Shanghailander with red onion) and the wagyu fried rice where the wagyu didn't shine as much.I definitely enjoyed my first experience here & can't wait to come back with more friends!

Finally was able to stop by this semi-new establishment in the SGV. To the point, yes, this is worth a visit. The food is good, service is great, and ambience and decor is welcoming. We ordered quite a bit. Dan Dan noodles, Sweet and sour spare ribs, Chinese hamburger (wagyu), Clay pot with sour vegetable and pork, chicken fried rice, Vegetable with superior broth, and XLB. The standouts were the spare ribs, Chinese hamburger, and funny enough for me, the Clay pot with sour vegetable and pork, which I didn't think would be a top 3 for me. As to the chicken fried rice, it's pretty standard. The Chinese hamburger definitely has the umami that everyone should try, but it is a bit greasy. What I do enjoy about the clay pot is the sour vegetable, and the broth. It adds aa different dimension to the other dishes.Parking can be a challenge when the plaza gets busy, so get there early. Wait can be crazy, as well, so be prepared. Will return!

Food was okay, I feel that the wagyu is just a gimmick. Parking is plentiful, the store is pretty cute. The food is alright, you can definitely get better at places like Paradise Dynasty or Din Tao Fung. But also this is SGV, so quite literally anywhere else. You cannot bring your own drinks here so be aware. The hostess was pretty rude, so I have to consider that when doing my review, it was almost as if she did not want me to eat there so it did give a sour taste to all the food I wanted to try for my review. All in all, this place is not horrible but there are other options

So much hype about this restaurant, so I had to come check this out myself. I had a chance to have a longer than usual lunch meeting with my colleague here and was happy that I didn't feel rushed to get out (that's for starters). But now, let's get to the details of our experience. On a Friday afternoon around lunch, we waited about 15 minutes before we were able to be sat for a party of two -- not bad. Once we sat, here's what we ordered:Cucumber SaladBeef WrapWagyu BurgerXiao Long Bao I also ordered the strawberry cheese foam drink. Everything in my opinion was delicious. Their version of the xiao long bao comes with crab, which was absolutely delicious. I had a great experience dining here, and would absolutely come back with my friends or family.

Good Alley is an incredible addition to the already amazing Asian food scene in the Rosemead/San Gabriel Valley area. I can't stop thinking about the dan dan noodles and short ribs--seriously, they're the kind of dishes you find yourself dreaming about long after the meal is over. The flavors are rich, the textures are perfect, and every bite is packed with that deep, comforting umami goodness.Beyond the food, the interior is lovely, creating a warm and stylish atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The service was great--friendly, efficient, and attentive. However, be prepared for a long wait because this place is seriously popular, and seating is pretty limited. If you're planning to visit, consider going at an off-peak time or just embrace the wait--it's absolutely worth it.If you love bold flavors and crave top-notch Asian cuisine, Good Alley is a must-try!

So good! I love this restaurant so much and seems like everyone else loves it as much as I do so expect to wait an hour to get seated. Make sure to sign into their waitlist. I usually come here for their tea drinks because their milk teas taste very similar to Chagee (you know if you know). Definitely not cheap! Around $8 per milk tea but it's so worth. I recommend their jasmine milk tea or Osmanthus milk tea. Very aromatic and creamy but also refreshing. Their food is very solid. I like getting their beef fried rice, beef Chinese burger, and baby Napa cabbage in superior sauce. So good but this place is not a cheap place! Highly recommend tho!

This place is busy! Be prepared to wait, especially on the weekends. The modern interior is very nice, and the lazy Susan in the center of the table makes eating at this family style restaurant very easy. Unfortunately, I found the food to be just okay, especially for the price. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly great either. There was not a lot of flavor to any dish. It was all a bit bland.
