Food was excellent! Loved their salad dressing and garlic fries were excellent! Excellent service and very nice!

You are paying for the flavor and believe me you'll pay. The prices are similar to the olive in Downey so if you want a vibe go there, you won't get it here. But if you are in your pjs and just want delicious take out this is the place. I wish there was more competition in Norwalk when it comes to Mediterranean food , but there isn't. This is the best. If it vamps up its dining area and or gets prices down to a more reasonable amount this place would be 5 stars

I'm a sucker for Mediterranean food. It has always been absolutely some of my favorite food and dishes to eat. So when I hear about a place that sells it and does well then I feel so inclined to come and try it and see how good it is.The food here at Golden Sun is no exception. It is so very good albeit a little pricey. I ordered a beef and lamb kebab plate which comes with rice, salad and a grilled tomato and jalapeño as well as a pita bread. I usually order chicken shawarma at places like this but I went with the beef and lamb combo because I wanted to try something new.It was actually very good. Very tender and full of flavor. I left this place feeling really satisfied.I enjoyed the hospitality too. The woman who greeted me when I entered was very polite and she made my meal with a smile on her face. I really appreciated it. It felt like a meal made with love and diligence.Also, as I was eating in here I noticed this place used to be a subway and I'm glad it became a Mediterranean place. I feel like there are already enough Subways lol.

My wife wanted to check out this restaurant to see if we would order catering from them for a party we are having. We didn't have any high expectations , but let me tell you ... everything is cooked fresh to order. The cook was right there grilling the meat and vegetables . The service was great. The only thing that knocked it down a star for me was that they don't use Basmati rice like other places . Besides that , we loved the food and ordered their catering platter for next week!

Food was delicious. We got the chicken kabobs. Chicken was flavorful and their green sauce was so good! Even my toddlers (3 and 1) ate and they're picky. The service was good. The lady working was very nice. The ambiance was good for the type of restaurant that it is. Looked clean. I'd go back for sure!

Came across this hidden gem while shopping in the area. All the food here from the plates to the hummus to even the desserts were made fresh. Lady took her time in making the entire plates, and she did an amazing job making it fresh. The Lamb was cooked to perfection with the right amount of flavor, and the beef was juicy with rich flavors. The salad even tasted delicious along along with the pepper. Service was excellent, and she even gave us free baklava, which was very appetizing with the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend this spot.

The food was mid. I got the chicken kabob plate I did not come with hummus. Also, it is pricey!! For the green sauce they charged 1.99.

The food is so freaking good. The salmon is nicely cooked and their falafel is so crispy in the most perfect way possible. The rice is bomb too but I love rice and you can't mess that up. I placed an order over the phone so when I arrived 15 min later it was ready to go. I popped in on a Sunday evening and no one was there but it was very clean.Also they have Dubai chocolate and it looks rlly freaking good. I didn't buy it buy will definitely go back for it soon.

I ordered catering today for my mom's 50th birthday celebration and the food was delicious! Everyone was asking where I got it from. Excellent customer service too!
