Goat Hill Tavern

We stopped in to kill a little time before going to the other place. We went to they had drinks. I had a couple steps, but I ended up just drinking water to feel better. It was a fun place. It was quite busy. The music was great. they have a pool table they have outside so you can smoke if people do smoke. The vibe is great. We got a large table for all of us to sit and just talked and hung out and then more friends came to celebrate which was awesome and then we left, but it was nice. We got seats. Everybody was smiling and having fun and enjoying the music and drinks.Thank you for great service. Everybody was really nice and the bartenders. What did my eyes see last night? The people watching here on a Sunday evening is truly unmatched. People arrived, as if from outer space, in bizarre outfits and way, way too drunk for 9pm. There was a man in a mullet smoking indoors. There was a velour tracksuit. There were girls shrieking in the bathroom, standing on the toilets to take pictures of each other above the stalls. The music was too loud (hope you like drake!) and the lights are so bright it kind of feels like an upside-down world CVS. But the drinks are cheap and various, the bartenders are nice, and I was totally entertained by the scene. We have a charming local legend in Goat Hill Tavern, I fear.

Joe is the best bartender! So accommodating and kind. Hooked it up with Busch Lite which is a rare find in Southern California. I highly recommend Goat Hill on a Wednesday night for a chill and divey time. Ask for Joe!

Always a fan of goat hill! Good music. Tons of tap options, plus a full bar. Fun times and good drinks.

It's the definition of a longstanding dive bar. It's been here for 55 years so it's a classic. It's known for all their beers on tap, but it's also a full bar with any option of cocktails. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are great during happy hour.

My wife and I always have such a great time at Goat! Joe the bartender is so nice check out their deals during the week!!!

Throwback to Costa Mesa when "The Goat" hosted and welcomed characters of all types, including its "boat" owner, Don (aka "Mr. Smoothie" and so many others as you will come here to find the "spirits" live in the form of book readers sipping beer, bartenders politely welcoming, pouring and just the kind of vibe and banter the world needs for any chosen happy hour. Don't miss it or mess it up.

Always have a good time here. The bouncers and bartenders are cool AF. Especially JOE! Give this man a raise. He has amazing customer service and is a super nice human being!

Manager kicked my gf and I out for sitting on a bench while waiting for my friend to finish a game of pool. she was resting her head on my shoulder and they she was asleep and it was a liability. Don't go here if you wanna have a nice night, absolutely ridiculous Extremely hostile to guests ridiculous.

Terrible experience and inconsiderate staff members. Even if the place has a lot to offer, the poor management definitely does not consider the people they serve. Never going back.
