Love Gerry's Grill! The service was fast and all the servers were attentive and kind, especially on a busy Sunday night. My water was constantly refilled and we had servers walking by constantly. Bangus (Milkfish) - 8/10 It was delicious, soft, and paired well with the vinegarInasal (BBQ Chicken) - 9/10 the chicken was flavorful, soft and came with atchara which was super yummy. I do wish there was slightly more atcharaTalong (Eggplant) - 7/10 My complaint isn't anything to do with the taste, it's just more the size (LOL) the eggplant was covered underneath the tomato's so we didn't realize how small it was (LOL) we wished there was more and we kinda felt tricked with the tomato's on top covering everythingLast thing to note is that the tables are super close together and it felt like we were all squished around the other customers, but it was a busy night so I understand why the tables were close together.

Lack of service: plenty of tables available yet staff makes patrons wait for at least 10 min to get a table even though there is no one in line. Many staff members just stand there and socialize with each other, while the restroom is always disgusting (pee on the floor, odor, lack of cleanliness in general). The restroom situation was the same all 3 times that we were there.Food quality was pretty good, although price is a little high.

First time we have ever tried authentic Filipino food, can't say I am a fan. Everything tasted very very greasy! Good thing was that they had a full bar and live entertainment. The entire restaurant was super loud and crowded. We tried grilled fish, squid abodo, sizzling pork, garlic rice and imitation crab fried rice to go. I couldn't believe how oily and greasy everything was, it was to the point I couldn't eat more than a few bites. Only dish that was decent was the fried rice, still a bit oily for my taste. But the portions were big and prices were very good. Also service was fast and friendly. It was not bad to give Filipino food a try but it's not my type of food! LOL

I met a friend here for a holiday gift exchange. This place is spacious and perfect for large groups. However, it was just the two of us, so we sat at a cozy table. Gerry's specializes in traditional Filipino dishes. I'm trying to eat light due to the abundance of Holiday gatherings, so I ordered the Spicy Tuna Poke. The poke was fresh and had just the right amount of heat. It came with crispy wonton chips that were hard to resist. The dipping sauce also had a bit of a kick. It was a very tasty dish. The service was ok. I didn't mind because we had a lot to catch up on. They have live music on Friday's & Saturdays. Thieves Like Us were performing on the night we were there. They were entertaining, and we stayed for a few songs.*Free parking in the shopping plaza.

With so many options for Filipino food in the Cerritos/Artesia/Norwalk area, it's tough to decide where to go. I've enjoyed the food in many establishments, and Gerry's is up there if you crave Filipino food and want a lively vibe. As a Filipino, I'm fortunate to have family members who cook well, but sometimes, relaxing at a good restaurant and enjoying yourself is needed. Our most recent visit was for lunch, celebrating a family event. Since we had a large party and no reservations, we added our group to the electronic waitlist upon arrival. Surprisingly, we only waited 15-20 minutes for our table to be ready.FOOD:The food at Gerry's is average to good. They offer many of the classic Filipino dishes and drinks. It's best to come with a group to share multiple dishes family style. A few of our recent favorites at Gerry's are the lumpia, crispy pata, beef kare-kare, sizzling pork sisig, inihaw na pusit (grilled squid), garlic rice, grilled tuna collar, and salmon sinigang. I could be nitpicky about a few dishes, but it was all satisfying. We didn't get dessert this time since everyone was stuffed from the entrées, but I recommend the Halo Halo. Next time, I won't pass it up. VIBE/SERVICE:The dining area is spacious and has plenty of tables and bar areas, but the noise level can be moderate to high. The vibe is generally chill, and live music entertainment is performed on Friday and Saturday evenings. Check their Facebook for event calendars. The website doesn't have much information at this time. Our server and the staff were good. We received most of our orders promptly, and they were attentive throughout the meal. It's incredible how fast the staff moves around the restaurant.

What a joke... under staff... sat there waited for someone to take our orders was passed by a waiter so many times didn't say anything... 25 mins same waiter stopped by the table next to us giving water to the table that's already eating and still nothing... Terrible... The service is so un-American lol. First and last visit, I'm big on service as much as the food quality and already disappointed.

Gerry's Grill was the spot back in my high school and college days in Makati. It was the go-to for a solid meal, no matter the time. Sadly, those locations have closed (RIP to a real one), but the nostalgia lives on. This particular branch has been revamped over the last 10+ years, and wow, does it look better now! They really gave it a glow-up, which makes it even more inviting for family dinners or catch-ups with friends. The menu has seen some changes too. Heartbreak alert: no more tuna steak. They've swapped it out for tuna belly, which is fine, but it's not the same, you know? It's a little disappointing, but hey, it's not a dealbreaker.Let's be honest: is this the best Pinoy food out there? Probably not. But that's not really the point of Gerry's. You come here for consistently tasty dishes that hit the spot with good company. It's comfort food in a cozy, familiar setting, and it delivers exactly that.Service could definitely use some polishing. It's very "Pinoy style." You kind of have to work for your server's attention, whether it's a quick hand raise, some solid eye contact, or the classic taas kilay move to signal "I need you over here." It's part of the experience, I guess?Overall, Gerry's is still the dependable spot it's always been, with a fresh look to boot. It's not about chasing the best - it's about enjoying what's good, and Gerry's Grill does that well.

This franchise is so nostalgic for me and my family. Great place to eat if you are looking for a diverse menu of Filipino food. Their sizzling bangus is so yummy. The crispy bits of tender fish come out steaming on a hotplate. The kare-kare had solid amounts of crispy pork and vegetables. Lastly, this is one of the only restaurants that I know of here that serve kinilaw. For raw seafood/ceviche lovers give this dish a try! They use chunks of tuna marinated in a coconut/calamansi base, goes great with drinks. I've ordered it on multiple occasions and have never gotten sick, its always pretty fresh. Can get busy. Restrooms are clean enough. Parking can get a bit crazy as this plaza hosts many other popular spots.

I can't believe it took me so long to visit this restaurant. Standard filipino food and really great if you have the entire family. Lots of seating.Food is a little saltier than if you made it at home, but I'm not complaining. The sizzling pork sisig with egg is delish. Pork is crispy. Garlic rice is a must have also and I love the garlicky flavor and how they serve the rice (garlic or white) in the little mounds. So cute.I also tried the kids meal fried chicken and spaghetti. The spaghetti was super delicious with a hearty, sweet meat sauce. The chicken however......what happened? It was chopped so small it was really 2 nuggets of meat and not what was shown in the picture.

I love the food here ... the service is inconsistent. Our last visit, we had Mango juice, Coconut juice and coke for our beverages and our drinks got to our table when we were almost done with dinner... we had to ask our server repeatedly for our drinks... :(the Servers here tend to ignore tables - it reflects poor customer service and dining experience... I hope they get better with their service. Before they seat the next parties ... they shouldn't forget to bring the beverage orders of the seated guests firsts... please don't neglect your patrons that continue to support Gerry's Grill.
