I was one member of a party of three. We reserved a table at this restaurant at 5:00 pm on Sunday, Jan. 19th so that we could enjoy a Magic Show (on the 2nd floor) by David Minkin at 7:00 pm. We were pleased to learn the restaurant opened for dinner at 5:00 pm so the "Taste of Italy" Buffet offerings should be fresh. We were able to select a 4-top table at the back of the restaurant because the hotel bar area was adjacent to the front. They had 3+ T.V.s on very loud so patrons (all over the first floor of the hotel) could watch the football game. We were attended to very quickly by our waiter, Jose. We each ordered a different glass of "house" wine (a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Merlot and a Pinot Grigio) and found the Cabernet Sauvignon "undrinkable" while the other two were just barely tolerable. Jose was such a kind man. We showed him the surface bubbles in the glass of Cabernet. It looked like the wine had been poured into a glass that was not completely rinsed after washing. The bubbles would just not go away. They were the size of green peas (large) and iridescent. He took away the offending wine and replaced it with a new glass. He said the bartender opened a new bottle for us. Still, there were iridescent bubbles in the 2nd glass. The bottle of wine was not the problem...whoever was washing the wine glasses was not rinsing them completely. We thanked Jose for his effort and left the glass of wine on the table. On to the food! We were looking forward to "Taste of Italy" Buffet. The menu described standard Italian fare: Three pastas with three sauces (marinara, meat sauce and Alfredo), lasagna, cheese and pepperoni pizzas, chicken piccata, garlic bread, eggplant parmesan, veggie medley of zucchini and other squash. Also, they offered a tureen of soup and a salad bar with trimmings. For dessert, a self-serve ice cream bar. With children in mind, they also provided chicken nuggets and French fries with a Ketchup dispenser. Well, we were the first guests to help ourselves to the buffet line and all the "hot" food was only LUKE WARM. We would have welcomed the ability to use a microwave oven to reheat the food but, of course, there was none. Imagine placing barely warm food onto a cold plate and returning to your table. As we began to eat, the food had cooled to less than body temperature. The only food worth eating was the items from the salad bar...because you want those items chilled. Lettuce, spinach, shredded cheese and carrots, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, mushroom slices, croutons and a few different salad dressings made the salad course fine. The soup was cool, but not intentionally. It was "Cream of Something".The entrée items were barely consumable, being so cool...this was food that you want to eat "hot." One person in my party suggested that the temperature the food was being held at was below a "safe" temperature. In a childlike mood, I was looking forward to the ice cream bar. There was a soft serve machine that provided vanilla, chocolate and a swirl mixture. Various toppings were available in covered servers: chocolate sprinkles, rainbow sprinkles, little marshmallows, vanilla wafers (broken and stale), Oreo cookie pieces and three different sauces that were dispensed from squeeze bottles. I mentioned we were first into the restaurant at 5:00 pm and were about the only diners who approached the ice cream bar. The squeeze bottles were terribly sticky and nearly empty. No one had bothered to clean or refill them from their last use (by children). I might add here that this restaurant and hotel caters to Disneyland guests which includes many children. We watched as children approached the buffet line, well below the level of the glass sneeze guard. Parents (that we saw) were indifferent to their children exploring the food offerings...at their eye level. I'm also sure it was little hands that made the squeeze containers for the ice cream toppings so very tacky and off-putting. In summary, the food offerings were akin to junior high school cafeteria quality. At $22/person + wine = $34 per person plus tax and tip (about $130 total), the price was well above it's worth.

Located in the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel is Garden Court Bistro, which does have a bar and lounge open in the evenings. For breakfast they have both a buffet ($19.95/adult) and a menu to order entrees if you'd prefer over the buffet. My parents and I first stayed at the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel in October and have since stayed an additional two trips (spanning 2 nights per stay). When checking in they offer a 15% off voucher for this location, so we gave it a go. Our server Zeke was incredibly friendly the first visit in October, and then actually remembered us in January from our previous stay! This type of service with a decent selection on the buffet has us not just staying at the hotel, but choosing this as our breakfast destination.Don't forget! They do eggs to order and toast to order with the buffet. This alone made the buffet for my mom and myself. Plus, they offer coffee to go if you need a little more pep in your step for your Disney day on the go.

Our bartender/waiter, Danny, was awesome! Very friendly and attentive. HH Margaritas were tasty. HH food was ok (nachos & lettuce wraps came with iceberg lettuce that was impossible to make a wrap). Calamari was very tasty. Mozzarella sticks were average.

This restaurant is located inside Majestic Garden Hotel. My family and I stayed at the hotel last weekend 7/29/23. After coming back from Disneyland, we decided to eat dinner here as they had more choices on their menu compare to the other restaurant onsite. We were a party of 10. We did not wait long to be seated. Service was outstanding from start to finish. Server was very attentive. Water/drinks were always full, did not have to flag anyone for refills. Plates were removed right away after eating. All our foods came out altogether, hot and fresh. The foods amazing. All flavorful. It's hard to find such good service anymore especially after the pandemic. We loved this place so much that we came back the next day for breakfast. Most of my family chose the breakfast buffet. They offer the basics for breakfast buffet: scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, pancake, sausage, egg Benedict, oatmeal, cereal, pasties, salad, fruit. They also offer to cook different eggs if you don't want scrambled eggs and fresh toast from the kitchen! Food was good for breakfast, not the greatest if you're expecting a top notch quality. Overall no complaints, good quality for buffet food and the price. They also have breakfast menu you can choose from in case you don't want buffet. Service is phenomenal. The server even asked if I wanted an ice coffee to go before heading out. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in this hotel :)

The bistro is located in the Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel. It's pretty casual though I feel like it's trying to look more upscale. The service there is extremely friendly. Our server, Francisco, went above and beyond. He checked in on us periodically and always had a smile on his face. The food was kind of a split decision. Some of the breakfast items we had were very delicious, like the avocado and feta toast. Some items, like the house potatoes, were underwhelming. I like that they offer a choice of menu or buffet. I would definitely want to go back.

Honestly $100 wasted on food because of the convenience of available seating. There really is a reason why the Asian restaurant is full and there were only 3 tables filled here.Kids Mac and Cheese was inedible by my son who lives on cheese. The cheese was weird. Daughter did not finish her kids burger either. My bacon burger was okay and wife's fettuccine Alfredo was okay. Chicken nuggets were not warmed properly. Service was slow with limited staffing. I wish I had spent the money on take out from anywhere else.

I can't wait to go back!!!! We had a late breakfast which was around 10 am, especially if you're a Disney person We had A La Carte as they were having an event and the buffet was not open. Absolutely okay with that. We had the wonderful Zeke as our waiter!!! He was very attentive, provided great food options and very friendly. Overall, fantastic service. He was extremely cheerful and genuinely happy to be there he made us feel so happy to be there and made us laugh. On top of the amazing Zeke, we had an extremely delicious breakfast I can't wait to go back and have the A La Carte breakfast!!!

We decided to come back to the hotel for a midday nap and had dinner here tonight. We just walked in and we're seated promptly. I liked that it was not crowded at all as everyone was probably at Disneyland. I had the bacon cheeseburger and a Cesar side salad, and the kids split the pizza. I really liked my Cesar salad and the burger was big and beautiful but tasted ok. I should have asked for ranch. My kids are split They did have a kids menu that we may consider if we dine here again. The kids drinks came in cute takeaway dino cups. Our server was great and checked in on us a few times. Easy dinner with no line!

Located inside of the Majestic Hotel this restaurant offers high quality dining. Since we were there for Christmas, a special menu was offered. We had the full Turkey dinner with complimentary drinks. Great service and friendly staff. The next morning we decided on the breakfast buffet. Everything from yogurt to custom omelets was offered. This is definitely a plus when your hungry. Don't miss this spot when you're in the area.
