Best Gamjatang! It's well cooked and so easy to eat! The meat comes right off from the bone and the soup is not too salty! Must get the fried rice after pork bone soup.I think this spot is better than LA original gamjagol! Must try

5 stars for delicious gamjatang.1 star for the service & experience. My cousin and I came here to enjoy some warm comforting soup since it's cold & raining outside. Food tasted amazing. The pork falls off the bones. However, at 8:58 they told us that "we close at 9" and proceed to give us the check. Which is normal, we can finish eating & just pay first since restaurant normally have to close out the register earlier. We paid and she forced us to sign it right away. Super awkward, she just stood there staring at me while I signed the checked lol. One of the lady was also incredibly rude to us and gave us an unhappy emotion the entire time saying she's got to go home. Look, I get it, you guys are trying to go home but we literally got kicked out 8 minutes after closing lol. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years and I've never kicked out customers before especially if it's only been 8 minutes past closing. ON TOP OF THAT, they charge for take out boxes btw. We got charged $3 for 3 boxes which I find ridiculous. Why do I have to pay to get my unfinished food to go? Would you guys rather me just not take it and have it go to waste?

Food is good, I won't complainservice is sh*t.Don't like to write fowl language, but this place waitress are really bad.Told me one of their menu item is not available when it clearly was. Didn't even bother to check at the kitchen. They forget to bring you your order or wait til you are finished with your meal to bring them out.Ring the bell multiple times and no one comes. They are really fast in bringing your check. No issues there.Definitely my last visit here.Place is dirty and unorganized.Shame shame shame.

I came in on a Wednesday afternoon around 1:30 pm and ordered the gamja tang lunch. The portion size is very generous, and I felt full after finishing my meal. The ribs were tender and absorbed the soup's flavor well, and the meat was easy to scrape off. There are bits of collagen on the bones as well which I throughly enjoyed. I didn't feel bloated either thanks to the refreshing bonchon. The radish has a nice refreshing taste that balances out the richness of the soup. I would come back to try out their other items.

Very delicious and good portions! You NEED to come here for their lunch specials. Incredible!! We arrived at 12:30 PM on a Friday and there was no wait. It's a little hidden away between the golf driving range and Greenland. They are known for their gamja tang and bossam, but I ordered the Grilled Mackerel and Doenjang-jjigae. Both were great quality and $16 for lunch. The mackerel was perfectly cooked! If you like oily and salty fish, this is a good option to try. The portions were big and very filling! I highly recommend.

Service: they are indifferent to your needs; they won't refill your waters, banchan, or get you anything unless you ask multiple times. The food is great though! So if you don't care how you're treated and plan to leave a tip that they FULLY expect (what happened to tipping for excellent service?) then def give it a try!

Love the pork spine soup with potatoes, onion/leeks, spices and spicy broth. Comes with fish cake? Pickled daikon, jalapeño with onion in soy sauce/soy bean oil, and kimchi.Service is good if you are Korean and lingers a little if not. This place gets really packed during peak hours. They make a fried purple rice after your done eating the soup. It's a good idea to shred some of the pork meat to enhance your fried rice at the end.

Exactly what you would expect from a gamjatang place! Huge portions and good to come in a big group. Banchan here is terrible but that is not the focus of this restaurant anyways. The gamjatang was straight up from my childhood. Nothing special, just a solid, classic Korean gamjatang. It would be a shame to get a takeout from here because why would you want to miss out on the fried rice they make after you finish the soup?? Save your stomach for the complimentary kimchi fried rice, which they make using the leftover gamjatang soup. Personally I had no issue with the service -- I really did not expect some guy to be stationed in our area, and he was so attentive with everyone. It's a very traditional, hole in the wall restaurant, so I wasn't expecting this kind of over-the-top service.

The food was good, but the service was unacceptable. We got our food at 8:45 PM and they said they have to close at nine. The waitress keep pushing us to get a pay first and the other one was cleaning the table next to us. Just keep saying they need to go home asap. Even we pay and first they were still acting unhappy. I can't believe they just ruined my dinner time after tired works.

I've visited this restaurant several times before, but today will be my last visit! Extremely disappointed! I knew their service was bad, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. We ordered the Combo A BBQ set, but all they brought was the meat--nothing else. We noticed that the table next to us got salads, so we had to ask for them before they finally brought ours. When we went to pay, we saw that the other table also got condiments, which we never received. As for the complimentary soda, I had to go to the counter and ask for it myself. We pressed the service bell multiple times, but no one ever came! Very, very disappointing! While food quality is important, a restaurant must also provide decent service. The older staff members running around had no idea what they were doing, and everything was a complete mess! There are plenty of Korean restaurants in Los Angeles, and if they keep up this level of service, they might as well close down sooner rather than later!
