Fronk's

I finally got to Fronks! I ordered the crispy zucchini. It was very good, but still a little mushy on the inside. I ate them anyway and I enjoyed them. My friend got a burger and found it very tasty. We sat outside since it was too loud for us. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. We drink water, so he brought us both two glasses. We both thought it was a nice touch. We both didn't finish our food, so he brought us boxes. Overall, we had a delicious meal! I hope you will go there and enjoy the tasty food!!

I have been coming to Fronks for over a decade. I remember the OG building and the lovely service and food. So, coming back for a visit and inviting guests to find my beloved Fronks so different was annoyingly disappointing. Service, I literally had to flag down the server several times to be able to order, ask for utensils, the check... super frustrating. Had I not had friends drive an hour in to meet me I would've left the first time begging for a drink. Then to flag her down for water, it took hours to just have a meal. And not in the pleasant conversational way. But hours waiting for parts of the meal to trickle out and tracking down utensils. Utensils folks!! The cocktails were unrecognizable from what we ordered. Margarita looked and tasted like pure water. The Rosa I'd ordered had zero citrus. The food was cold by the time we got parts of it and not sure how to eat Mac without a fork or spoon. I'm incredibly disappointed and saddened by the state of this overly loud and seemingly abandoned restaurant. I miss the waitresses we had from the old building and early years at the new. They were friendly, prompt, and thorough. Do better.

We have been going here since they used to be on Alondra and my how times have changed. Portion sizes used to be massive and prices relatively reasonable, especially given the portions. Service was always great as well and quality used to be spectacular.Now when we went this past weekend, our drinks were never refilled until I specifically asked for a refill and this was on a drink with free refills. Portion sizes extremely small, especially for the new super high prices. I understand things are more expensive now, but other establishments are charging less for larger portions. The quality was acceptable, not worth sending back, it nothing to write home about. And the real kicker, they were out of sweet potato fries, which is what I expressly went there for, no worries I figured I would have the Chilli instead and while good, very small portion again and barely warm when I first got it. I mean I would understand if I let it sit for a while, but I didn't.They also no longer appear to have their handmade sodas.And add to that they had the football game on so loud that we could barely hear each other and we were outside where it was quieter than inside.Needless to say this was not the experience we have come to expect from Fronk's and it is sad to see another establishment that was once really good slide so far downhill after not having had them for a while.I noticed another review claiming they don't pay their employees aside from tips, I suspect that isn't true, but if that is true and an employee is seeing this, then know that this is highly illegal, I. California you must make at least minimum wage BEFORE tips by law, please act accordingly.

Came in a Friday night and it was packed! This is definitely a sports bar based on the screaming coming from the front door. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger with onion rings and it was okay. I asked for a medium cook and it came well-done. It was also supposed to come with an onion ring and that was missing. The onion rings were good except they were salty. Service wasn't that great and, based on how crowded it was, makes sense. Didn't try any of the drinks but there were quite a few tipsy folks so this place is doing its job. Since its Friday, there's a DJ so it's a little tough to have a conversation so I wouldn't come here on a first date. My boyfriend likes this place a lot so I will have to give it another go (maybe on a week night other than Friday).

Wow it's been almost 9 years since I've been to Fronks. I gave it a try again after craving bbq and wanting something not too far from home. I shared the 3 meat combo with my boyfriend. It was plenty of food and we even had a little bit of leftovers. The combo came with baby back ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage and 3 sides. We got mac & cheese, bbq beans and coleslaw for the sides. The food was not terrible, but it was not good either. The meat was lacking flavor and their bbq sauce tasted store bought. The smoked sausage was overcooked. It looked and tasted like it was air fried. The bbq beans was too watery for me. I really like my bbq beans thick. The mac & cheese was too dry. The coleslaw was good, creamy and the only thing that I enjoyed eating. The meal was expensive at $45 something. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was attentive.

Fronk's is community staple. Ask anyone in the city of bellflower where they recommend for dinner and Fronk's will definitely be on the top of their list!Today was just a quick trip for some fried pickles for a buddy. What's unique about these fried pickles is that they are deep fried whole. So more pickle and less fried batter. Makes for a perfect balance!

My first time back after not coming here for a while and I was disappointed. I was shocked when I saw my bill, and I immediately thought, "What did I order?!" Came here for lunch had the wings, which were just okay and soggy; I would have preferred BWW. 12 wings for $22, come one I thought it was lunch special! My brother ordered the taco plate, which came with rice and beans. He said the tacos were average, and the beans were just plain disgusting. The sliders which we shared was the only okay plate, but the meat was very thin and I wish there was more for what we paid for. The quality has gone down for sure from the last time I was here.Beers, as you can see were $8.50 a pop. There were mosquitoes everywhere in the establishment, and my brother and I got bit. Safe to say I will not be back here again. Fronk's, please do better.

Their Apps are still amazing. Had some leftover and just air fried and they were still really good. I need to go back for some fresh ones.

Very great experience for my first time, workers vibes are in set the tone of a calm and very chatty conversation, I would recommend this place if you want a late night drink watching your favorite team play, and food is greatt

I went to pick up the food and called in the order. I didn't double check the food once received as it was early and they weren't busy.To my surprise when I got home the meat was burnt and the cheese was shredded still.....Then to my dismay when I called after I was hung up on. The guy who answered was extremely rude and dismissive.
