Ambiance is AMAZING! Stephanie , our server went above and beyond! She was attentive, friendly, and sooooo kind! The food was delicious! If we weren't visiting from Las Vegas this would be our new go-to spot!

I noticed this restaurant on the way to a record store a bit further down, their cute outdoor are grabbed my attention. Glad it did because the restaurant we planned on having my husband's birthday dinner at fell through, so we needed a solution! Franco's Famouse came in to the rescue!We were seated immediately by the nice, easy going hostess outside. It wasn't crowded when we went, it was sunny, they have the patio very nicely decorated. Got water from the house and chips and salsa (very good, tad spicy).We started with their Guava margarita, great ingredients, nice flavors! A win! We also got their chicken flautas, fresh, hot, with great presentation, nice guacamole on top. Delicious. We continued with Carne Asada street tacos, fresh ingredients, the meat was well cooked, very enjoyable.Had to get dessert, their flan is outstanding and b-day boy got a sopapilla from the house, full of caramel goodness. Service was great, staff is nice, didn't get our server's name, but she was super helpful, attentive, great to chat with!Relaxing atmosphere, nice location, great food, reasonable prices. Wonderful discovery in San Clemente! It worked out for the best!

Oh my gosh.Drop everything you are doing and go here immediately.The food is absolutely amazing. The drinks are excellent.The price is a little higher than other Mexican places but totally justified.The chips and salsa are some of the best we've ever had. I ordered the carne asada tacos and literally were better than any other tacos I've ever tasted.We got margaritas and they were top notch.Our server was Amber and she was outstanding, very nice and helpful!Definitely will be returning. Great now I'm craving the tacos....

TACO TUESDAY! That's all I have to say! I've heard about this gem of a spot for a while and my friend invited us to Taco Tuesday; I'm so glad she did! The chips were fresh and obviously newly fried, the salsa was perfect and the tacos were scrumptious. They offer potato, beef and chicken as options served with chopped lettuce, tomato and cheese. Two was more than enough for me and my options were chicken and beef, but my friend swears by the potato. The ambiance is amazing; mostly outdoor, but works as both indoor/outdoor with heaters to keep you warm on a chilly night. The house marg was yummy, too. (Not too sweet and made right!) Service was fast and friendly. We will be back soon! Come early for a table on Taco Tuesdays!

Great cocktails! My favorite is the jalapeño margarita on the rocks. Excellent crispy chips and fresh salsa.

Awesome in every way!!!Phenomenal carne asada tacos and burrito. Definitely the best in San Clemente. Chips are light super crispy with the perfect amount of salt. The salsa is incredible. The TJ dog rocks!!!Great bar great bartenders great servers. 5 star all day long. I only wish they had more on the menu like their other location.

Everything was great! We went at about 5:00 PM, and were able to see the sunset from our patio table. The patio is really cute--little lights all around. We had a heater right next to us, and there are blankets hanging on the wall, if you need them. Hugo and Brandon both waited on us, and were both super friendly and efficient. I had ordered the salsa on the side for my taco salad, and he realized that and fixed it right away, before I even noticed! I had the taco salad with pork (green sauce), and the large chunks of meat were SO tender and tasty. The chips are fresh and authentic. Margaritas were very tasty and not too sweet. My husband loved his chili relleno; melty and flavorful. We loved the place! Hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant now.......forgetting Asada!!!

This wonderful, very cool restaurant made last minute accommodations for our party of TEN on VALENTINE'S DAY! Everything was perfect - great service, delicious food, yummy cocktails, lovely outdoor seating with heaters. The margaritas were so good and the chips, salsa and guacamole were really tasty. Very impressed with our experience!

Great service, great happy hour, and a cozy patio with heaters! Our waiter was attentive and kind.
