For The Win serves up a solid smash burger that hits the spot when you're craving something indulgent. I ordered the smash burger and fries, and while it was a satisfying meal overall, there were a couple of small things that kept it from being perfect. The smash burger itself was flavorful, with a nice sear on the patties that gave it a bit of crispiness around the edges. The meat was juicy and well-seasoned, pairing perfectly with the fresh toppings and soft bun. The fries were crispy and hot, with just the right amount of seasoning to keep them addictive without being overpowering.Service was friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely engaged in making sure everyone was happy with their orders. However, the wait time was a bit longer than I expected for a casual spot like this, especially considering it wasn't too busy when I stopped by. That said, the food arrived freshly made, so it was worth the extra wait. The ambience is casual and no-frills, with a laid-back vibe that makes it a great place to grab a quick meal. The space was clean and well-maintained, but the lack of seating could be an issue during peak hours.Overall, For The Win delivers on flavor with its smash burger and fries, but a slightly quicker service and more seating options would elevate the experience. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a good burger.

The service was friendly. We talked to John behind the counter and he was a great representative for this establishment. Service alone I would give it 5 stars. Food was great. Was the price for a double smashed patty, no lettuce, no tomatoes, side of secrete sauce that only half filled the condiments container, no drink, added cost for fries worth the price? NO. For the amount of hype this place has received, it was disappointing to see all the upcharges they threw on the customer for what normally should be included in the burger. 3 stars for the service and for having served great hamburger patties. I just can't seem to get over nearly paying $20 for a double patty cheeseburger that didn't include lettuce or tomatoes as a standard addition to their burgers. I wish I thought to have taken a picture of every uncharge shown on the self-service kiosk.

Two 4-person tables. Small parking lot with 1 handicap + 11 spots. The layout and space of the burger shop is simple and to the point, very much like their menu. It gives off a fast food/grab-and-go vibe, but I highly recommend that you dine-in to enjoy the burgers while they're fresh unless you have a very short drive back home!Double Cheeseburger (4/5) I shared this with my husband about 25 minutes after it was served to-go. The burger was very tasty, but its smashed perimeter was missing that crispy, lacy edge that you normally get with smashburgers. That's the only reason why I docked a star. Everything else about the burger was delicious! A few weeks later, my husband visited FTW at a different location and dined in, and he stated that it's much better fresh--as food, especially burgers, usually are, so that's no surprise. I would definitely revisit and dine in when I get the chance to savor it properly! I'm guessing that, once I do, that rating would bump up to 5/5.Brussels Sprouts (5/5) One of the best brussels sprouts sides I've ever tried! It's so simple, but they somehow make it taste ridiculously good. I'm guessing they use beef fat to fry these up because they're super savory and have a satisfying crunchy char. I'd come back just for this!

Casual burger joint. We were welcomed immediately and sat at one of the only two tables inside the place (total seating for eight). They do have a patio on the side of the building with much more seating. We placed our order at the counter. Unfortunately, they were out of chicken, pickles, and Brussels sprouts. They have milk shakes (strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla); however, they were also out of chocolate and vanilla. During our entire visit, the guys were in the grill area chatting/cussing (lots of "F" bombs) which was open and within earshot of the customers. Not very professional. I also noticed a lot of supplies stored in the back corner of the dining area. Not very nice to look at. Maybe a simple screen could hide this stuff. We ordered three Cheeseburgers, adding bacon, and they were extremely salty. The French fries were okay, and my wife enjoyed her strawberry shake, but said it wasn't anything special. The tables had hidden drawers containing packets of ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. At least the '80s music was good.Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be going back.

Came here on a suggestion from a friend. Place is small, pretty clean and simple menu. Burgers, fries and drinks.. Seating on the inside, and some patio seating as well. Girl working the counter was really nice, and brought out our food when it was ready.Ordered a single patty smash burger, some sweet potato fries, and a coke. So 18 dollars later, burger came out. Smashed patty, sauce, cheese and two pickles. Not too sure what i was expecting, but visually i was let down. Taste wise, it was really good. Not sure what sauce they use, but it was tasty. Meat wasnt too flat, which was good as well.Sweet potato fries were really good. Loved those. All in all good. Worth coming back too? Not sure.

I stumbled upon this place through IG and wanted to give it a try. So, today after church I decided to invite some friends and check it out. Here is my honest opinion.Pros:Military discountGreat hospitality Quick serviceCons:Parking (not that many spaces for large groups)Price (paid almost $100 for 6 people)I ordered the double cheeseburger the way it is which includes grilled onions, pickles, and fry sauce. At first, I thought this was like an In-N-Out burger on steroids and although I enjoyed the taste of the burger and sauce, nothing could justify the price I paid. I know it's called a smash burger but maybe the beef patty was too smashed for me to make the burger look bigger. I like to support small businesses but $12.50 just for a double cheeseburger is too expensive in this economy especially when you can get a double double combo at In-N-Out for $11. It was nice to try but I probably won't be back. In order for this business to thrive I strongly recommend offering combos with fries and a fountain drink rather than canned sodas.

First time having a smash burger and this was so good. I always see this place on my Instagram reels as one of the best smash burger places in LA.I went with a friend to try this spot out on a Wednesday night an hour before closing and there was no line & wait. I ordered a single patty smash burger, a double patty smash burger, an order of fries and Brussel sprouts. I had the single patty smash burger and it was season nicely. I like how thin the patty was because compare to your average size burger, sometimes I can get sick of eating a whole burger. This was a good size but I wished I ordered a double because I can totally finished a double patty smash burger. The fries were crispy and fresh. The brussels sprouts were BOMB, so crispy with the balsamic glaze. The restaurant is pretty small, there was about 4 tables? but there are some tables outside if inside is full. Parking is very limited since it's in a small plaza. I would definitely be back next time to try their loaded fries.

Service was quick and I thought the smash burger tasted great. Especially with the fries, it was a great combo. The only thing I would like to mention are the extra add ons, I paid extra 0.50 cents each for tomato and lettuce and they forgot my tomatoes. The place itself was clean. Condiments were text to the self serve water. There was ample parking as well.

Went right before closing on a Saturday night around 6:30pm (yes they really do close @7pm sadly) and it was packed. And also for reference their parking lot is on the smaller side(maybe less than 10 spots?)Quick to order, gives hole in the wall type of vibes, quick water/condiment station. Took about 10 min to get our food and was great! I like it better than Burgers Never Say Die bc of the sauce (which tastes more garlicky than thousand island). Bun was well made and the meat was a great texture. My friend group loved the loaded fries tooWould definitely love to come back!
