Quite ironic, bc all the staff have been kind, but the owner is the only one giving us poor service, causing us to feel uncomfortable.

Jjampong ($18). Not bad but not sure if it's something I would come back for. It was good for a quick fix and included a good amount of seafood. They have a bigger portion for $30 but this was good enough for 2 people.

Despite the reviews, I actually love eating at the food court. I love the beef soup from 36 Sulungtang. Served boiling hot and you get a side of seasoning to add flavor. Feeds 2 people. Also the pork katsu from Shojiki was spot on in my opinion. Good sauces and served fresh. The food court itself has a ton of air purifiers from Coway which is awesome so it doesn't smell like a greasy food court. Good ambiance as well. I wish the workers were nicer and all dishes came with additional utensils and plates, but it was overall a great experience.

Alright this has to be the worst run establishment in LA & OC. The food is more expensive than sit down restaurants, easily paying +$3-$5 more for food court quality & service. But the worst part? It's the floor supervisors that go around terrorizing customers. We didn't see the screaming rude lady mentioned by the other reviews, but we got her just-as-bad counterpart: creepy Asian man who stare at customers while they eat. Staring competition-level type of staring. It seemed like his whole job was to audit each table's orders and make sure not one single item was from an outside source. It almost entertaining - he'd walk around the tables at different angles to get a better view of what each person had in front of them. But I guess that's not his entire job, because he also scraped leftover food into the trash cans and served food without washing his hands. Oh and then he'd serve himself some soup from one of the restaurants. Same hand! Listen to all the other reviews and don't come here.

I came here for the first time today. It was quite confusing as I thought it would be a conventional ordering system......it's not. You order at the front of the food court and then pick up your food from the store in the court. I was so lost, lol. I ordered 2 different bowls and got 2 different tickets, but I wasn't aware of this, so I sat there waiting for both dishes at 1 store. After looking like a fool, I was so surprised at the portions!!! Chicken Time offers a HUGE portion of chicken!!!! I ordered the 10 peice, and oh my god. I think think they gave me the WHOLE chicken! Hella good tho, I won't lie. Now that I know the process, I can't wait to try more restaurants, but yeah, it's a bit confusing for new people.

Wow, I wish I had seen the reviews for this earlier! I visited the Food Source with a friend and ordered doganitang from 36 Sulungtang. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I've never had bad Korean soups before in many years, and this has got to be a first from me!I'm usually one to complain that food is too overseasoned, but their doganitang was very bland! The salt and pepper that came along with a scant blocks of meat were unimpressive and not enough to be enough. This is one of the saddest Korean meals that I've had, and the side dishes were also subpar.Of course, there's only one way to trump a bad meal... dirty silverware! I didn't expect such a foreshadow, but I guess it really was a sign to stay away.

Ordered from two of the restaurants in the food court on the 2nd floor. There is plenty of seating with food court ambiance. Service was decent, waited about 10-15 minutes for our number to be called on the speaker. We got the following dishes:-Beef soup with sliced brisket from 36 Sulungtang ($17): soup was on the blander side but they give salt and pepper so it adds flavor to it. The brisket was tender but only came with a few slices. There was even some rice noodles inside. On the side, there is rice, kimchi and radish. Decent portion for the price. 4/5-Jajangmyeon from Honglin ($13): chewy noodles in black bean sauce with yellow pickled radish on the side. Taste was alright but kind of clumpy. 2/5

It's been a while since my friends from school met up. We decided on The Source since it's located between my friends and I. Since we have kids with us, we decided on the food court as it will be more kid friendly. The food court has a main menu which consists of all the dinings within that food court. At first glance, you'll notice it has a huge menu. We still walked around to check out the individual menu before we decided to order. It was a little confusing with the order number system. We really need to watch the number system very carefully. We were sitting closer to 36 SulLungTang but the Shojiki is at the other side of the food court. We kept waiting and waiting and almost missed the number. My daughter got the pork katsu from Shojiki and I got the kalbitang from 36 SulLungTang. The pork katsu was done very well. It was very crispy and light. My daughter enjoyed it. The kalbitang isn't too bad. It had 4 small short ribs. The banchan dishes were pretty good.Overall, the food court has decent selection and I think they have a kid-friendly menu so it's very appealing with family.

Tried aki sushi and chicken time for the first time at the source. Food was decent and the portion size is pretty good at both places. A little pricey, but it is definitely worth to split with a few people! There is a lot of seatings and plenty of other food options here. Service was quick, but if you do end up picking the chicken option, it does take a little bit of time.

Brought a friend here since she loves Korean food and there are many options inside the food court. We ordered cold noodles, kimchi tofu stew mild, and kimchi cream pasta. Total came out to about $55.My friend enjoyed her food and I thought the cream pasta was good, but on the salty side. The noodles were also cut up as if serving to a child which was weird. For $18, the pasta felt a bit on the pricey side. I was full, but the portion of the pasta would not be filling if you are super hungry.Overall, I think the food court is a decent option to enjoy various Korean foods. They do charge $.50 (in cash/coins) if you want a to-go container. We didn't have any on us, but luckily a super kind lady who was behind us covered this for us. This is what made me bump up to a 4-star, the generous customers! :)

I ate at 36 sulungtang for the first time and i don't recommend this place. The soup portion is big but the quality wasn't there. Beef brisket slice smelled like if it's going bad. I tried a few times thinking the smell could be from the plastic container they store food in but no, beef was definitely going bad. The soup was ok though. For the same price, I recommend Jangmojip by Rosecrans and Beach their soup is much fresh & tasty, no doubt about it.
