Excellent pizza and meatballs, salad could have used some more acid and salt. Place had a great homey vibe, accompanied by welcoming staff.

When walking up to Folks Pizzeria you are greeted with small walkways, outdoor seating, right next to another restaurant, instagram-able shots around every corner... so you start thinking to yourself, "with all these factors, there is no way that the food from this place could be delicious". BUT it actually is! The pizza was fresh and the perfect amount of crisp. The wings had a crunch and flavor that was truly conversation starting (the table next to us couldn't stop talking about them with us), and the wine selection was substantial with something for everyone. Will most definitely come back due to the food flavors, kind and helpful service, and overall vibes. The only con is parking, of course. But this place made circling the lot worth it!

I'm a bit torn, as the food was incredible, but the service was lackluster. I've always heard amazing things about their pizza, rightfully so, as this was probably the best pizza I've had in Orange County.However the experience itself wasn't phenomenal. My girlfriend and I waited 40 minutes to be seated. Typically not a problem, but we had also left the front Photo Booth line on the other side of the camp to make our slot once we got the text that our table was ready. However, when we got to the host stand, they took an extra 10 minutes to get us seated. Our seats were on a bar outside. Once seated, we explained we were on a time crunch and the host and waiter said the pizza should take 20-25 minutes to come out. We waited 45 minutes and had to box our pizza upon arrival. Overall great pizza, but wish they had better communication with their customers. Probably would opt for take out next time

we ordered the mushroom, pepperoni, and spring pizzas! the mushroom pizza was by far the best in my opinion! the spring pizza had wayy too many flavors going on for me, but it was my friend's favorite out of the 3 we tried. and if you're into a strong cheese flavor, you'll like these pizzas! i'm not a huge fan of pizza with burnt sections, but it didn't bother my friends -- all personal preference :) overall, i'm not sure i understand the hype around this place but its nice to say i tried it :) + make sure you make a reservation if you're looking into this place!!

Overall good pizza spot with unique toppings and sauce combinations. We were able to make a dinner rsvp in advance to avoid the long wait.This spot is located at the CAMP in Costa Mesa. There's limited indoor seating and an outdoor section to eat. Pizzas are around $30 and can feed 2-3 people depending on how many slices you eat.I really liked their spin on a Cesar salad. They served it with a side of Anchovies and included lots of croutons/ cheese with dressing.We tried the pepperoni pizza and mushroom one. Both were great. I'm not the biggest fan of their crusts. It's a bit harder to chew, but the rest of the pizza was tasty.Ambience is great for dates or casual hangouts. We did feel rushed multiple times due to an incoming reservation. The host stopped by our table letting us know, even though our server hadn't rang us up yet. Despite that, it's worth coming back and trying other dishes.

Solid pizza choice in a fun area - if you can find parking that is. We made reservations for a week night dinner and were able to get seated a little earlier. Inside dining is small, intimate, and kind of loud with great service. They also have outdoor seating which I'll do next time. We enjoyed everything we ordered! The beef tallow French fries were like McDonald's fries but bigger, crisper, and 10x more flavor. Caesar salad was top tier and they had the on the side for pickier eaters. The fennel sausage and mushroom pizza were greaaaaaat and somehow tasted even better the next day as leftovers? I loved the whole roasted garlic pieces on the mushroom pizza too.

Cute and intimate restaurant located inside the camp, I would definitely recommend for date night or celebration-they offer beer and wine! I came here with my husband on a Thursday and did reservations, it was very busy but we were lucky with no additional wait and was seated right away! Heads up, parking is limited but they do have valet as back up. EATS Beef Tallow Fries- flavorful and savory, the fries were perfect and had a variety of crispy bites in there that are my favorite Caesar Salad - this was a big salad and we had left overs, the little gems were fresh and crispy! It also comes with anchovies on the side , I'm not a fan but my husband is and he thought it was really good and honoring the og Caesar salad. Fennel Sausage Pizza &Mushroom Pizza - crust is nice and chewy! The fennel was good but my favorite was the mushroom pizza, I'm more of a white sauce girl and it was really good with cloves of garlic on top, ughhh def a must try!

We ended up on an impromptu food tour and Folks caught our attention and we had to try the classic margarita pizza, the hallmark of all good Neopolitan style pizza. The pizza is $30. However it is very good. The crust is very crusty and has a slight sourdough flavor. The cheese was melty and a little salty the tomatoes just added the right amount of acidity. Overall great flavors and we would come back and get another try another pizza anytime.Parking is difficult during peak hours. We valeted for $8. Average customer service. Indoor and outdoor seating. We took ours to go. Casual. Please come and create your own experience.

Great pizzas..excellent Cesar salad and good service. Not too loud so good for dinner for 2 or small group inside. Outside has larger capacity seating. Recommend making reservations as it's always crowded but worth the wait

happened upon this spot on a lovely Sunday afternoon, and I'm so glad I did! The ambiance was fantastic--everything from the vibes to the music and the overall decor was spot on. The pizza was absolutely delicious! It was made fresh to order and took about 30 minutes to arrive, but honestly, it was well worth the wait. This place is always buzzing, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you can--like me, you might end up waiting, but it's definitely worth it!
