I searched for "salmon" on Yelp and found this hidden gem. It's a little hidden across the side street by TJ Maxx.My entire meal was wood fired in a cast-iron skillet. The salmon had a really crispy skin, which I usually don't eat, but this one was delicious. my husband's chicken sandwich was also delicious and so were the steak fries. Our server, Gerardo, was so pleasant -- that makes a big difference in making us want to come back.

Came here for Thanksgiving this year, and it was fabulous! About 1/4 the price of the other places around Dana point, and it was delicious. Thanksgiving meal came with turkey, stuffing, gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes with a hint of garlic. + cranberry sauce. Delicious. For dessert, we had the s'mores, and it was great! A little rich, but that should've been expected. Will definitely come back here again. I just wish more people would discover them, although it's off the beaten path.

Met my best friend and his wife here last night for a nice surprise hidden in a strip mall. This place is small inside and out and tables are almost touching your neighbor, not my favorite setting but I recognize this is personal preference. The problem was when the drunk guy at the table next to us kept yammering about some jeweler a couple of tables over so loud that my ear is still ringing louder than normal from last night. Service was great and the food was better than average as well. Wine list is great for a place this size. My friends bring wine snobs is the reason I chose this place for dinner. They loved their wine after each trying a different flight. I had an okay old fashioned but I make a better one at home, fairly easily-this is my go-to drink. We had the peppers and the meatballs for apps. The bacon and bbq sauce were the star of the meatballs, the balls themselves were not memorable in any way really. The peppers were very basic and something I've done myself on my bbq more than once so I can't really rave about them in any way. My guests had the salmon and shrimp. Both said they enjoyed their dinners but neither of them talked about their food in any way to tell me it was special. I had the burger. Honestly, the one I had at Stone Brewery was much better but this one is still good. If I was coming here because I loved red wine, this one may stand out more but as a whole, the restaurant doesn't say to me that I can't wait to come back here. Not sure how it has so many 5 star reviews but they are definitely a 4ish.

This place has a great vibe and feels like a bar in south. We started with the fried green tomatoes that were covered it Burrata (pretty good). Next we had our mains: chili and cornbread (best cornbread that I have ever had), grilled cheese and tomato soup (the soup has a good kick of jalapeño drizzle), the cheeseburger (solid traditional burger but the homemade pickles and potato logs elevate this dish), and the meatballs and loaded mashed potatoes (both awesome). For dessert, we shared the s'mores (which was like a pizzokie - chocolate chip cookie covered in chocolate with fired mini marshmallows on top) - sooo good. Our friendly server Lisa was a delight. Overall great experience. We will be back.

This a great neighborhood restaurant with the sweetest hostess ever and her name starts with a K and she is extremely delightful!! Happy vibes. She makes everything so pleasant! My take out food was mediocre so definitely dine in here.

Service is friendly and the food is good. I've been here twice and both times I've left with a full belly. The rib eye with the herb butter was delicious. I left nothing on my plate. Drinks are solid as well. All in all definitely recommend it.

I found this restaurant on Yelp on our way back to San Diego and I'm glad we stopped in!! The salmon cakes are to die for if you like salmon. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night when we stopped by so I'm sure they are super busy other nights. A reservation is recommended! The drinks were absolutely delicious so I recommend any of their cocktails. Everything is super fresh and farm to table which I loved. It is a smaller restaurant but definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

So first off... I totally judged this place off the front. So shame on me! This place is a very sexy vibe. In my opinion something out of a movie, where you meet the love of your life....or....you write a really great script because of the ambiance. Lol Now that I have captured your imagination, my husband and I stopped in the day before New Year's Eve. It wasn't too packed (probably due to the time frame), but it was absolutely pleasant! The drinks were fantastic....the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We shared... and kind of wish we didnt...but thank god...cause I would have eaten EVERY FRY!!!! Our bartender was amazing (maybe owner or related), but at the time... we didn't see the other side. And I know they said it was in the works. So from our experience...place was quaint and attractive....food was delicious...but being we didn't see the other side, I leave the open star as a 'I'll be back to fill it in' We aren't from the area...so this is just a view from someone passing through

I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly crowded. It was also raining that day. I went to the front and there was a host table with a sign saying to wait outside. So I did (in the rain). But no one came for a good 5-10 min. Then I walked inside and they said to sit wherever. (Found the host table to be misleading). Then I was able to see the kitchen from my table and it seemed as though the cooks were checking people out which kinda gave me an ick vibe. But the overall place seemed really chill.Food was so-so. Not amazing or noteworthy but also not the worst I've tasted. It honestly felt like a glorified Panera Bread meal. It's why my rating would be a 2.5 or 3 stars.

Cocktails and food are really good. The menu is so interesting. I could've ordered at least four or five different things but I keep going back to their barbecue chicken salad. The barbecue sauce is so delicious. My guy had the short ribs and before I could even ask for a bite, the plate was empty.
