My friend and I went to come here and eat since I have not been in since it re-opened. We went on a Monday night and it was SO empty which was nice! Eventually, 2 large families came in but there was plenty of seating area in the entire restaurant! I loved the ocean theme (seafood, duh!), the light fixtures were beautiful and everything was very clean! The best part?! THE PRICE! $20.99 for an ADULT both during the week AND WEEKENDS?! We spent total of ~$44 for 2 adults plus tax which is so much cheaper than any fast casual or sit down! There were tons of food varieties and about 95% of everything was delicious! The baos were a little on the cold side as well as the sesame balls for dessert. Their sushi options were all very good and all of their proteins had good flavor and seasonings! Will definitely be coming back!

This is our third time coming back after this location has been reimagined as Flaming Seafood Buffet. While some things have changed a bit, some things haven't. Entering the buffet, they have plenty of chairs to sit, in case you need to wait for the rest of your party to show up, because realistically, who hasn't? There are two areas that can be sectioned off for more private events, a main seating area that hasn't changed much in layout, as well as the serving area in the middle. I seem to recall a full wall separating the back room from the main dining area, but am pleased with the aesthetics of the current design. The flames actually look cool!I was actually impressed with the overall quality of the food! While the flavor of the bao buns and most of the food on that serving island could have used a bit more flavor, a majority of the other various foods i tried had good flavor and didn't taste like it was out in the sun all day. The day we went, we were heading there after the host confirmed that they had oysters. They mentioned crabs too, but we figured they were talking about the blue crabs (tasty but a lot of work). When we arrived, they just had brought out rock crabs, which were disappearing like certain baked honey hams around Thanksgiving. I then discovered that they had chinese style bbq pork ribs. My usual go to places haven't had any in a while and this was like a taste of heaven. big time bonus! I went back a couple of times for this. They also have a hibachi grill and a sushi counter along the wall....a little bit of everything! When you're just about wrapping up, they have plenty of fruits and the Jello is quite tasty - rich and full of flavor, not bland and watered down. To top it off, they have freezers with individual single serve ice cream cups. Perfect for a Socal day. Parking isn't that much of an issue, even though this is situated smack dab in the middle of a decently busy shopping plaza, there are plenty of spaces in front and on the side of the building, and even more in the rear. Restroom could use a good cleaning though.Overall, the quality you get is definitely worth the price you pay. $20+tax/adult and $14+tax/child (10and under) for weekend pricing! Drinks are separate, but come with refills.

Pretty good buffet for the price! Can't beat $20.99 for weekend, with some seafood and steak at the grill. 10% off for seniors if you tell them before the bill comes. There is a 10% discount if you follow their socials or write a review but I didn't want be under pressure. Plenty of parking! Bathrooms could look better though. Lots of food options all delicious and freshly replenished quickly. No soft serve but there are ice cream cups. Good for groups.

Was looking for a restaurant in the area and stumbled on this place. This is a chain buffet restaurant but I haven't been to any of the other locations. This place was really good. Quality , variety and price. I have been to other buffets at similar or slightly more expensive and weren't as good as Flaimng is. Pros- diverse variety of food. Sushi and seafood quality was good. They even made hand rolls for sushi and offered some sashimi. Had a teppanyaki section but you have to buzz a bell and wait for the cook to show up. Had an ice cream freezer. Fruit and salad bar looked fresh. Cons - some dishes we felt lacked flavor and could use a bit more seasoning. The restaurant was clean and plenty of parking. Parking lot is a horrible design and not easy to get around when it's busy. Honestly I would recommend this place and would come back if in the area. Service was great. Friendly and cleared dirty plates fairly quickly.

I saw that the buffet had been remodeled and wanted to give it a shot. The place looks nice, and there definitely was a wide selection of foods, mostly Chinese foods of course, plus a decent sushi selection and a grill to-order Mongolian bbq selection. Seafood options included lots of shrimp- cold, cajun, steamed, fried, etc., fish, mussels, squid, octopus and small fried Chinese style crabs. Fresh fruits, and the usual puddings and jello as all other Asian buffets. As all other asian buffets, crab legs are history- none to be found here.I am going to have to return on a Friday or weekend if I ever go back. The problem was, we arrived at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. There were only a handful of tables of people not enough people eating to have new food made fresh. No food turnover at a buffet is not great- the food had good flavors, but everything was lukewarm, the fried foods weren't crispy or were hard/dried out, and the overall selection at the sushi bar was slim pickings. My wife kept saying, "I wish this was hot it would be better". Ended up eating more Mongolian BBQ than I would have liked only because it was cooked to order and hot. $20.99 for dinner, with tax and a tip came to $52.00 for two of us.Again, the potential is here and it's probably great on a Friday or weekend when it's busy. Probably should have seen the lack of crowd and left before we sat down.

Attended a birthday dinner for a group of 9. We were greeted right away at the entrance and seated as soon as our whole party had arrived. The food is your typical buffet but definitely appreciated the many seafood options including oyster, sushi, fried fish, clams, etc. Amongst everything offered the mocha/coffee dessert was my fav! The bathroom does need some TLC.Tip: coupons are available in the mail.

Food clean and good tasting, for $15.99 with a variety of beef, chicken and seafood? What is there to complain ? Not to your taste? Just add salt and pepper or soy sauce , the have them! The price is the driving factor for me.. nowadays $15.99 for lunch all you can eat that is a bargain! Ambiance: clean and floor is not sticky! So clean! Service: not bad! Staff are businesslike and efficient..People need to adjust their expectations.. you're paying for $15.99 lunch this is NOT a 5 star hotel/ restaurant BUT it is great for the price! We go here every now and then. The desserts? Ice cream, almond cookies and glazed peanuts ! What else is there to complain for $15.99?
