We came across this hidden gem in Hacienda heights, offering an authentic taste of Guilin right here in the area while looking for a quick stop for dinner. I ordered the house special rice noodles which comes with beef, crispy pork, small and large intestines, and snail. These noodles are perfectly chewy and mixed well with the variety of meats. Each bite was packed with so much flavor....One of the standout features of this restaurant is the generous condiment booth. You can customize your dish to your taste preference with a variety of sauces and toppings. The workers are also super-friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a great dining experience.Overall, Feng Ying Guilin Rice Noodle is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the rich flavors of Guilin cuisine. Whether you're a fan of Chinese food or just looking for something new to try, this place will not disappoint.Overall: 10/10

I love Guilin noodles and this place hit the spot! You can pick the type of protein and noodle, then go to their topping bar and add whatever you want. Definitely one of the most variety toppings I've seen, I especially liked the green chili. Their chili oil I also delicious without being overtly spicy. We got crispy pork rice noodles to go, and I love their two tier packaging system, with sauce on the side. The noodles also came with a container of chicken broth that was super savory and flavorful. The service was great, friendly and informative. Parking wasn't a problem either. Will be back again, great experience first time!

I wanted to come here after seeing someone post about it on Facebook. It was good. This is the first time I'm having Guilin Noodles - I didn't even know this was a style of noodle before a couple days ago. I got the Crispy Pork rice noodle option for $15.99 and the cucumber appetizer for like $6. I walked in to a really nice older man who was wearing a chef's outfit. He spoke in pure Chinese to me (my Mandarin is not so great and I could only communicate with him like 25% of the time). I used pictures to show him what I wanted and they have an easy access picture menu. In about 5 minutes, they came out with everything. Let's talk about the appetizer first. The cucumber. It was cut up into mini cubes. It also seems like they had been marinated for a good bit. They were good, crispy, but I was expecting super crunchy and less marinated. The flavor was good and tangy though. It was decent, but not sure I would get it again. The noodle bowl came separately from the soup. It contained the meats, half an egg, and the rice noodles. Honestly I couldn't identify what the meats were, just that they were pork or beef. I don't know if I got exactly what I ordered, but the meats were tasty. They were the star of the show. Really nice job on that. The noodles themselves, however, they're not the type of noodles I normally like. Instead they were a bit thick, pretty soft, and less chewy/springy as I'd hope they be. Think of the rice noodle you get at a Vietnamese vermicelli bowl (the dry kind with charbroiled meats), just swollen and wet. That's how soft they are. I was hoping for more ramen/pho type of chewiness. Besides the meats, the fixins bar is pretty great. Add whatever garlic, hot sauce, onions, peanuts, cilantro you like, to your preferred proportions. The soup/broth was good and warming. And I believe the older Chinese man said that and the noodles were refillable, but I could have heard wrong. Service was good.Would I eat here again? Yes I would. I was satisfied. Would I take my friends here? I also would.I would prefer just white rice instead of the noodles, if that's exactly what Guilin noodles are supposed to be like, but that's just me.The restaurant has an authentic vibe. It can make you feel like you're in China.

Great food. After you order the noodles, they serve the noodles at the condiment and toppings station. You can add your own amount of chili sauces to adjust to your own palette. They also have minced raw garlic, green onion, roasted peanuts and cilantro that you can top off your noodles with.
