Express Wok

This is my and my family's favorite Chinese spot. It's a mom and pop place with some indoor tables but we usually take it to go. It's more like fast food than a sit down restaurant. I see customers go in there pretty regularly. The owners are very nice. They have wonderful customer service. We've been coming here on and off for about 4 years. She always has a smile and says a greeting. We love the large portions that she gives. The food is cooked throughout the day. I love it when they just cooked something and fill the tray. Our favorites are the teriyaki chicken & Orange chicken. It's great for a quick meal and you don't want to cook.

Got the chow mein with BBQ pork and orange chicken. Portions are large enough to fill 3 adults in my opinion. Very cheap too. Around 12 to 13 bucks for a can of coke and the food.The BBQ pork was rather flavourless, probably to cater to the demographic around this location. Surprisingly tender for a Chinese fast food spot Would come here again, but will need to bring people to share

Quick, affordable Chinese take out. The owner was extremely friendly and polite. 3 piece combo was large enough to save for later. Really enjoyed the chow mein and my meat options which were marinated pork, teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef.

This is my favorite place I try and come here twice a month . I love there BBQ PORK and the egg foo young is so yummy .

Food and customer service had been decent up to this point; however, today has been proven otherwise with hair in my food and a dishonest transaction.I was told one price verbally, paid cash, and was shorted a couple dollars in change. It's happened before with cash transactions and I thought I misheard or was mistaken, but it happened again today.I also got this long ass hair in my rice.I will no longer frequent this place on my lunch breaks.

TL;DR: Solid 2 stars. Nothing stands out, but could work if you are super hungry as they give you a lot of food.It is small Chinese Fast Food spots like this one that makes me wonder how they can all stay open for so long. The food is def nothing special, nothing stood out at all, but you are given quite a bit of food. I tried the chow mein, jalapeno chicken and spicy chicken. Meh. That is all. It seems like the lady who works behind the counter, serves the food and cooks the food! When I came in about half of the items on the hot table were not available and I would of had to wait for her to cook everything. Her customer service is good, therefore 2 stars.

Friendly and family owned, been going here since I moved to Brea in 2006. Great prices and big portions!

The best hot and sour soup I've had with tons of tofu and mushrooms. And the quality has been consistent over time.

Such a great place, they were so incredibly friendly and food was so delicious and had enough food to save for later. Will definitely be coming back!

Cheap and good quality food. Try the spicy orange chicken! Beef and broccoli half and half wont let you down.
