This place has been on my list of places to try and I'm so glad I finally did. We showed up and were seated right away. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but there are some tables set up outside as well. Service was quick and efficient. We definitely felt welcomed as we walked in. Plenty of parking available in the lot. Lastly, the food was delicious! I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area. Food review:Spicy tuna on crispy rice: (5/5) Honestly, I was shocked at how big they were at first, but once I took my first bite I was impressed. Great flavor and texture!Salmon nigiri: (5/5) Very tasty and melted in my mouth. It was super fresh tasting. Gyoza: (5/5) These are steamed I believe, but also great flavor and the dipping sauce was super good!Salmon avocado roll: (4/5) It was pretty good, big pieces of salmon inside and very filling. Sushi roll (unknown name?) (5/5) My bf said it was delicious and he downed it quickly! I'm allergic to shrimp so couldn't try. Plain udon: (4/5) This was a decent size portion. The noodles and broth were both very tasty!

We came on a Friday evening and the restaurant was at 20% capacity so we got seated right away. ETCetera is located in a small street mall so I could see parking an issue during prime time hours. The restaurant has an initimate setting and so I appreciated the privacy we got when dining here. Everything we ordered was amazingly fresh and the rolls were full of flavor! I would definitely come back to check out their other menu items.

First time in Costa Mesa for a business trip and I was in need of some grub. I was told this sushi restaurant wouldn't disappoint and they were right. Now this may be a far fetched review but the MISO soup was my favorite. Don't you judge me. The broth was perfect ! I enjoyed the sushi and Bento box as well. Great service and was seated immediately (although we did come around 5pm before the dinner rush). When we left around 6pm, it was packed. Very impressed by the selection. There were a lot of options you wouldn't typically see at other sushi restaurants which kind of makes this more special in my head. This place is great for a date night. Plenty of seating inside and out (with heaters outside). Huge lot for parking so parking was incredibly easy. I highly recommend getting the grenade and shark bait roll. The O.C. Cut Roll had way too much masago. Miso soup is always great as a starter but nothing special. We also got the Fresh on Bristol roll but I wouldn't get it again. The cucumber overpowered everything and the pieces were way too big. Not sure how anyone could fit that in their mouth. Make it smaller, increase the pieces from 6 to 8 and it would be much better.

Came here on a quick vacation trip. This was in a shopping areas next to our hotel, so huge points for walkability. (There is also a large parking lot.)The service was very friendly and the space had really cool vibes. The food itself was okay... one of us had the sushi combo, I had a scallop roll and my partner (vegetarian) got the avocado roll and veggie roll. Of all of us, I think mine was the best. Well crafted, fresh, and enough for one not-super-hungry person. The sushi combo was pretty good-- the salad had a great dressing and the spicy salmon roll had a nice kick to it. My partner's vegetarian rolls missed the mark though. The avocado roll lacked any kind of texture and ended up just being dull and squishy. The veggie roll was a little better, but still felt like a bit of an afterthought. Honestly, if the avocado roll was crafted like my scallop roll, it would have been great.

This place has nice service and good food. I like this place to meet with work friends as it is not too loud to talk with others. This time I started with the spicy tuna on fried rice cake - so good. Next up was the sashimi. All was good except the yellowtail - it was off. I should have just returned it but they were busy. I would likely just stick to the salmon and tuna sashimi. Rolls are good and creative. I especially liked the Fresh on Bristol (wrapped in a cucumber). I will back but no yellow tail.

Five star lunch! I haven't been for dinner yet but everything is delicious. Great quick service. Food came out quickly. Big sashimi cuts. Super fresh. Absolutely delicious. Beef teriyaki bento was great. Side salad with the miso vinaigrette was insane. Cool spot in a strip mall by SNA. definitely worth coming back for dinner.

Clean bathrooms, easy parking, and easily got a table for me and my older child at 12pm on a Thursday. Cute decor and light fixtures. We ordered Edamame, Spicy tuna on crispy rice, yellowtail miso glazed, baked me something, everything was great. Wish it was a little less drizzled with sauce but still flavorful and yummy.
