Ensenada's Surf N Turf Grill

I recently visited Ensenada's Surf N Turf, and overall, it was a great experience. I ordered the mango ceviche, and it definitely did not disappoint--so fresh and full of flavor. We also had the mixta tostada, which was absolutely delicious. My husband is a huge fan of fish tacos, and he thoroughly enjoyed the ones here--crispy, flavorful. The soup was also tasty and a great addition to our meal.The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but the staff was clearly in "grind mode," working hard to keep up with the crowd. While the food did take a little longer to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. The place was clean, and despite the hustle and bustle, the staff remained friendly and efficient. Overall, I highly recommend Ensenada's Surf N Turf for anyone craving fresh and flavorful seafood!

I'm a huge fan of their grilled fish tacos. I recommend these over the fried ones. They load em with generous amount of fish and it tastes so fresh! I've tried much of their menu and nothing beats the grilled fish tacos for me.I also love their self-serve yellow chilis, they're even better with lime squeezed over em. If you see them bring out a fresh tray, grab those ones because they're amazing when still hot!

This is my favorite place for fish tacos! The fish always tastes so fresh and perfectly seasoned. It is crispy on the outside but juicy and soft inside. They have many different sauces that go very well with the tacos. They also offer grilled seasoned peppers that are super delicious. I tried their mixed seafood soup, and that was amazing too. It was packed with seafood and had a sour and spicy flavor.The place is set up like your typical fast food setting. You order at the counter and grab your own table. They are very fast and efficient with everything so the wait is never too long even though it's packed every time I stopped by. Overall, solid place for yummy fish tacos.

Delicious Fresh, Friendly and Clean The atmosphere is very nice a lot of choices. The restrooms are clean as well. We also have options to sit outside. It's a must try if you are a Ceviche lover well I guess I'll see you another day

The pictures and reviews on Yelp looked great so I wanted to give it a try. Personally, not my favorite pescador spot. I felt like it was Americanized and a pretty penny. Maybe I'm used to fish tacos being around 3.50- 3.75 each, whereas here they were $4.50. The tortillas broke apart despite it being doubled. The tostada of Jaiba had no lemon. So I had to add it in myself. My mom ordered their tacos of asada and pastor and she didn't like either of them. Pictures are deceiving so it really comes down to personal preference. Overall, I'd rate it a 2.5/5 for me personally.

I really liked:Ensenada Burrito I liked:Shrimp Quesadilla This burrito is huge and pretty #goodeats. Quesadilla needs something. It's a little too plain and the hot sauces they provided didn't complement it well enough. Service was fairly fast and they even provided me foil wrap when I couldn't finish the monster burrito I had.For a Baja restaurant this is pretty standard. Plenty of tables and colorful walls.

FOOD (5/5):*MUST TRY* $6 BREADED FISH TACOS: obviously the best taco option here by far. It's perfectly crispy, flavorful, and doesn't need anything added.$17 CALLO (scallop) COCKTAIL: scallops tasted fresh and I loved the cocktail sauce! Great with the crackers and I liked it with the toastada, but I'm not sure if it came with toastada or that was purely for my shrimp cocktail?$7 SHRIMP CEVICHE TOASTADA: small portion, but a great appetizer! It's more citrusy than the cocktail, but just depends what you're in the mood for. I equally liked both! SERVICE (4/5):They are fairly quick, even during peak hours. Just know it's a seat yourself & serve yourself kinda place.AMBIANCE (4/5):It's a fast casual restaurant. Order at the cashier, then sit down anywhere you'd like. You have to pickup your food at the counter. OVERALL (4/5):I absolutely LOVE this place! It's so unassuming and it's probably underrated. For the price point to the quality of the food you cannot beat this place! If you're in the area, give it a try and I promise you won't be disappointed. MUST TRY BREADED FISH TACOS.

Plenty of parking. Very casual dining. Condiments bar and hot sauces are convenient when dining there.I mainly wanted to try the grilled fish tacos, so I just ordered two. They came out to be 10.24 after tax and I paid with cash with 20.24. The cashier didn't seem to have calculate it correctly because I knew for a fact that I gave her my remaining pennies when I struggled to get them from my wallet. I gave the 24 cents so I could get a whole 10 dollar bill back, but she said I only gave her 10 cents??? I even showed it to her but she said she already closed the cash register and couldn't open it back again since the transaction was "done". That made me petty but whatever lol-- It didn't take too long for my order to be ready, as it should. The man calling out the orders said my number and I showed my receipt to him in case he wanted to check. He said "I can't read it, I'm blind, I trust you, ok?". I'm not sure if he was trying to be funny but I mean shouldn't you check in case??Anyways, the service here was really weird to me. Finally sitting down to eat the tacos, I do like how they're pretty loaded. Although, unfortunately I wouldn't say it's like super amazing. It was pretty standard, the fish was pretty basic, and I mean, it felt like an item that couldn't go wrong. I think this place is definitely more worth it when they have their specials going on because for the regular price and the service here is very mediocre. Definitely for $2 something (during their special), it would be worth. Otherwise I wouldn't come here again on a "non special" day.

What a great fast dining spot! The fish tacos were amazing! I can't believe it took me so long to try them. The fish was tasty & perfectly fried. The pico de gallo was just the way I like it- tomatoes out numbered the onions. Since I visited on a Wednesday- the 2 fish tacos were less than $6.00!! Definitely going back & Definitely telling EVERYONE that this is the place to eat

This place is my current go-to for Taco Tuesday (~$3/taco). I've only tried the Al Pastor and Asada tacos. Al pastor was a little dry but the Asada is delicious!! The meat is so juicy and they have a self-serve bar with sauteed onions, chilis, and lemon to top off the tacos. You can also ask for their orange and red sauce which are both great. They only take physical card and cash, not Apple Pay so make sure you have them with you. I made that mistake once and had to ask the gentleman in front of me if I could venmo him.
