I wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service I received at store #5340, particularly from an employee named Alex. His enthusiasm and attentiveness made the entire experience stand out. He went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met while we placed our food order. His positive energy made every customer feel welcomed, and his level of service is something that's unfortunately rare these days.Alex truly embodies what great customer service is all about, and I believe his work ethic deserves to be recognized. Thanks to his efforts, we will definitely be returning customers. He's a great example of what excellent service should be, and I hope his dedication doesn't go unnoticed.Thank you for having such a wonderful team member!

I ordered a double chicken tostada with easy rice and extra avocado. I get my food through the drive thru and I look in my box and I was given a partial blackened avocado. It's no mistake that you will see a partial black avocado and still give it to a guest. That's intentional and lazy. You want guest satisfaction and appreciation, then do it the right way the first time! I had to go back and ask for a comp where I see all the half cut avocados that they had sit on the counter that they never used throughout the whole day sit in the open air for God knows how long. Long enough for this black avocado to end up in my tostada bowl! I work in the food industry too and we look closely at our food that is handed out for it to be favorable to guests. And this was not my favorite and this had to be the time for me to come in for this lady employee to get it right and cut me a fresh unopened avocado. @OSHA Where you at so you can come inspect how these workers run El Pollo Loco here in Garden Grove, CA.

This place had bad service ratings. I agreed in the past but they have a few workers that definitely know how to take your order and keep the place clean! The cashier that helped me knew his stuff! Big Kudos. Also their mac and cheese is the best I had from a El Pollo loco. The area had homeless transients roaming.

Ordered a chicken tostada salad with extra beans but they put the bean juice on my salad. I still ate it because I paid for it but do better please. Strain the beans before putting it on a salad.

I came last week and was completely disappointed. Despite that I came again today and it was really good!! I got my quesadilla nice and hot and my chicken was juicy!! Their manager Claudia went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoy our experience this time around. I also want to shout out Syd for being patient, friendly and helpful. The business/customer service person on here also went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction!! I will definitely be back!! 5 STARSSS!!

I was starving and this was the closest thing to me at the time. I ordered a bowl and literally did not get everything i wanted inside the bowl. My avocado was missing, the corn was missing, literally everything! It was dirty and unfriendly inside the establishment. I used to come here growing up in GG and i just feel as if the location is so sad and not good now. Will not be back to this location.

I couldn't believe their burritos have shrunk to just 4 inches. I went inside to verify, and four staff members confirmed this size is correct.

Today I took my class of 13 students with special needs in the community and we ate here. The minute we walked in we were being offered assistance from Derek and informed we could order at the counter or use the kiosk. It is always a challenge trying to get the students to order as independently as possible but Derek was especially patient and helpful! He was so courteous the entire time and never made us feel rushed! When I got my food I realized my order wasn't exactly what I ordered but without me even saying anything, he recognized the error and brought the fixed item right away! Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered! The restaurant itself had plenty of seating and was clean. We had to rush off to catch the bus but I wanted to be sure to thank Derek for the exceptional service today! Thank you!
