4.5 Stars!I been coming to Early Bird for many years. I have not had anything bad from here. Many of the breakfast entrees are good. Sometimes there are lines in the mornings. The service is great, always alert and the waiter or waitress are always around. Ambiance is cool. It's a good place to come with family or alone to dine here. I would recommend Early Bird in Brea to all.

One of our regular family breakfast spots. Usually crowded but worth it. Get on the waitlist online through Yelp.Chilaquiles are killer. I dream about the coffee served here.Don't expect quick service. And see my pic, egg surcharge has begun.

This place has been one of my top favorite brunch spots to come to. I've been coming here for a good 8 years now, I just now noticed I never put a review for it! Crazy that I haven't post before. I want to start off by saying the food always has good flavor. The carnitas chilaquiles are my favorite, this time I couldn't choose between that one or the chef Vic green chilaquiles so my server asked if I could get half and half and so I did thanks! It was amazing! I told my server we liked the brioche and the churro waffle but were undecided on which to get, she informed me they were able to do the brioche French toast churro style and omg! It did not disappoint! The fluffyness of the bread and the sweet churro sauce made the perfect combo. ( we ended up getting two!)As for the ambiance, the place is bright has background music that can be pretty enjoyable not too loud, just enough to hear but you're able to hear everyone else as well. The place keeps pretty clean and the art on the walls is nice. This place will keep being on my books, and definitely returning once again

Haven't been here in years so it was like trying it for the first time since I don't remember anything. Got seated right away on a weekday during brunch time. Ordered the Serrano chicken sandwich which the waitress said was a new item and it was SO good - grilled, juicy chicken, fried Serrano pepper, crispy onions, melted cheese on brioche bread with a side of fries. However for $18.99 it was pricey for the size. Overall their menu is pretty pricey and that's not including their new egg fee for an extra $1.75 for current egg prices. In my opinion the restaurant should feel cleaner and a little more upscale for the prices but the food is at least good.

Came here on a Sunday morning around 11am and it was packed. My group of two was 11 in the waitlist and we had to wait almost an hour outside. The waitlist can be joined on Yelp so I suggest joining before even parking at the restaurant. We were sat in the very back right next to the bathrooms which was very unfortunate. It took a while to take our orders and give us food. The food was really good, the churro waffle was delicious and the chilaquiles were very filling. Our server didn't come around much and we had to wait a long time to flag the server for our bill which we had to pay at the host stand. I don't think the hour wait was worth sitting in a hard chair next to the bathrooms with poor service even though the food was good.

This place was yummy and did not disappoint! We had a group of 7 that came in around 8 am and the place was still fairly empty. We sat ourselves and grabbed menus. Their Mexican coffee is a must get if you like something sweet. I ordered the carnitas chilaquiles and it was so good! Chopped fresh fried tortilla chips covered in sauce topped with tender carnitas and runny eggs - what more could you ask for? One of their specials was an Oreo waffle which was delicious as well! It had bits of Oreos in the waffle topped with cream and fruit. While the food was good, there were unbussed tables around us and the bathroom was left dirty. However, when people started coming, they started cleaning tables and sat people.

Came here for brunch on sunday! It was over an hour wait but i love how we were able to join the waitlist ahead of time so we didn't have to wait too long after we arrived! We got the pork belly benedict, the rancho benedict, and the carnitas chilaquiles. The food came out decently fast and was delicious! Portion sizes were pretty good i was stuffed after finishing the pork belly benedicts. Definitely would come back here if I am in the area!

Although nothing was on the printed menu re: gluten free or gluten friendly foods, the server was very knowledgeable re: gluten free options. She also volunteered ideas for food item replacements. I didn't have to call a manager or the chef. The eggs Benedict was very tasty with a portobello mushroom subbed for English muffin. We will be back!
