Earl of Sandwich

About halfway through an 11mile day at Disneyland and I was craving a warm pastrami sandwich.The Earl of Sandwich nailed it, and the price was very reasonable for a Downtown Disney location.On an average day, when not hiking 11 miles chasing 4 grandchildren, a half a sandwich would have been enough.

On our first time here my husband and I ordered the prime rib and downtown burger. My husband enjoyed the prime rib, however the mashed potatoes were very plain and 0 flavor. My burger was great and I enjoyed the french fries. The second time here we ordered a caesar salad and chicken fettuccine alfredo. The salad was just alright, the chicken alfredo was truly terrible. It had a peanut butter flavor and a rubbery texture. I asked the server to take it back and got spaghetti and meatballs. It was very bland and cold. I was disappointed by this point and we ended up leaving. The table behind us also had a terrible experience, they ended up calling the manager and in their words, "let you [manager] know this was disappointing."

Came in for a quick drink and asked to simply modify it (no ice) and the bartender asked if I wanted to come back and make it myself. Super unprofessional, won't be coming back.

This is a split review.For the regular Earl of Sandwich: Lines can be totally random in length. There's a lot of seating just outside. The food is massively overpriced for what it is. The sandwiches are super small too. The desserts are bland. Not worth it.For the Tavern Restaurant: massively overpriced. The space is super small. The food is ok. My boyfriend got the roasted chicken for $29, which was good. But my $34 small thing of salmon and rice was a joke! I left hungry! Which was why I went to the regular Earl and regretted that too. The drinks are OK. NOT worth the money. Overall both end up 2 1/2 stars for me.

I really liked: Chicken Chipotle Avocado Sandwich Tomato soup Smokehouse BBQ Chips Been a while since I've had Earl. Glad to see the #goodeats hold up well! The bread is firm without being hard and the flavors come together well. The tomato soup is great for dipping chips into and is pretty hearty itself. Service was fine. Downtown Disney is packed and so I don't blame the employees for being a little intense when answering questions or directing people.It's super busy so we took the food to go and ate it at home instead of trying to find seats.

So glad that this place reopened atDowntown Disney. Perfectly situated right as you disembark from the tram. Go here for a brekkie sandwich that's fresh and delish. I prefer these over the breakfast sandwiches at Disneyland, and they're wrapped for on the go convenience.

Cheap, good tasting, fast option for Disney trip. Disneyland food options aren't great inside the park. I would gladly starve instead of spending money on food I don't like inside the theme park. The pop up cart at the Downtown Disney parking lot entrance is a great location, always gets us while we exit because we don't like to eat inside the park.

Eve was our server and we had a great experience! She was super nice and charismatic. She knew the menu and had some great suggestions! The food was great and so were the drinks. We did not wait at all to get in and never felt rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant for this location and definitely recommend Eve as your server.

My hubby and I spent the day at DCA. Tonight for dinner we went to the Earl of Sandwich. The food was well-priced and tasty, BUT our server EVE was the highlight of our experience: Affable, knowledgeable of the menu, and went above and beyond to make sure our evening meal was a highlight of the day. Thanks Eve!
