The food, service, and ambiance is everything you would want from a restaurant. Came in with my family and ordered the spicy chewy noodles, knife cut noodle soup, hand pulled dough soup, seafood pancake and bulgogi rice. We were disappointed we couldn't try the pork cutlet with rice because they sold out. All the food were so delicious. The chewy noodle was So chewy and spicy and refreshing especially during the California heat wave. Both the knife cut and hand pulled dough soup were light yet full of flavor and the owner gave us this spicy sauce to add that was to die for. AND OMG the seafood pancake was huge and thick and crispy. This place is a must try.

Located in Diamond Bar Double O has been around for such a long time and still I would consider a hidden spot to come and just hang out with friends for a couple of drinks. Came here for dinner and also ordered the fried chicken which was delicious! We ordered another one after we finished the first. Service is friendly and they have a ton of variety for soups, meat, and many of the traditional Korean dishes. If you want a place where it's quiet inside and you just get to spend some time with friends, this is a good spot to come to.

Their chewy noodles were a disappointment. Their cheongookjang is my favorite so far even better than the specialty restaurant in LA because of preference as the speciality restaurant in LA uses beans too heavy for me.Will probably just come back every time I'm craving cheongookjang

Very hospitable restaurant. Very kind and accommodating service.I ordered spicy squid plate, with no sugar in the sauce. They obliged me. The squid was abundant and well cooked. The dish came with the most well cooked purple rice. Also a small side of cabbage slaw with 1000 island dressing. And a few jalepeno slices.Their banchans were pretty good.- The radish kimchi was over ripened/fermented (next time I will ask for more fresh)- Their cucumber ban chan was perfection- Loved the potato ban chan, so tasty and colorful- Their fish cake stir fry with shishito peppers leaned on the sweet side, but still very good- I was delivered a side miso soup, it was cold, she offered me a hot one, but I didn't want to waste food (the miso is more of a traditional Korean style); curious to try it hot next time.I want to try their bulgogi lunch plate next. They have the best hot barley tea ever!Place i

TLDR: Food: 4/5Price: 5/5Service: 5/5Wandered by chance to Double O, and had a great experience. They currently have a lunch special, where multiple items from their menu are only 12.99. I got the kalguksu (knife cut soup noodles) and it was delicious. The clam and anchovy based soup was flavorful, and the noodles were nice and chewy. There was a generous amount of clams for the price. My mom got the pork cutlet, which was sauced evenly and fried well. It came with lettuce purple rice, which made her feel as if she was eating healthy despite eating a piece of sauced and fried meat. The ambiance is nice and laid back, you feel as if you have maximized privacy, and the restaurant is nice and clean. Service wise, the waitress was really nice and always available. They also have a button if you want to let their staff know that you need help, but the corresponding sound is very loud and resonates through the whole restaurant...All in all, I would definitely recommend coming here. The food is good and the service is great. A brief unrelated tangent. This morning, I went to Triple A to renew my DMV registration. This has nothing to do with this restaurant, except that I realized I went to Double O afterwards. If anybody has any recommendations for a place/restaurant that has "Single" and a "vowel" afterwards so I can complete this holy trinity, feel free to let me know....

It is not everyday you walk into a subtle hole in the wall and walk out feeling like home. I ordered a hand pulled dough soup that paired amazingly with their banchan selection. Simple and delicious. The soup reminds me of a grandmother's warmth with the large portion and refills of side dishes. I will definitely be revisiting again. Thank you to the server for packing my food in separate containers to keep them from sogging, I would have stayed a while longer and finished all of it if not for my schedule!

Came here to satiate a late night craving. We ordered the whole fried chicken and the bulgogi plate. Both were delicious and on top of that, they gave a nice spread of tasty banchan! The service was great, especially given we came within the last hour of them being open. Would def come here again!
