Dosirak Express

decided to come here post sauna session on a whim because i couldn't decide what to eat and i'm so happy i did!i got the beef bulgogi dosirak and i was delighted! the food was fresh and the protein made to order. the sides were also pretty yummy! i loooved the glass noodles it came with. it was the perfect meal for my indecisive mind and hungry belly. there were high top tables and chairs outside to sit in and they had a heating lamp wish was nice and cozy. i was able to eat my meal outdoors in the fresh air and i enjoyed that so much.

My mom and I had a terrific lunch here. We both ordered Dosirak plates: she had the bulgogi beef and I had the galbi (boneless short rib). The dishes, served in plastic trays, had a generous portion of beef, seasoned rice, rice noodles, dumplings, pickles and tofu strips. Both her bulgogi and my galbi beef (boneless short rib) were tender and well prepared. The side dishes were equally excellent. We were also given a spicy sauce on the side which had just the right amount of spice. The woman who served us behind the counter was very friendly. Because it's mainly a take out place we sat outside the restaurant in a very nice seating area. As it was a beautiful day it was a great place to eat. I thought the price of the meal was decent value (but not cheap) --- alot of great quality food for the price.

Originally got put on by my girl and fell in love with the whole menu and Banchan immediately. Everything from the pickled squid, every red meat choice on the menu and the salads are bomb and full of flavor. It's a small place with not a lot of room so plan to take out or eat outside. As someone that hits this place up on their lunch break it really comes out fast with tons of time to spare so everything's perfect across the board. Looking forward to coming back here again and again!

Are you tired of teriyaki beef bowls and orange chicken like me?! Because I have the place for you.It's located in the back of the shopping center next to the Albertsons. We came during the Saturday lunch hour and there was only one person ahead of us in line, with plenty of parking. The store serves as a banchan market and fresh Korean "bento" restaurant. Despite the big space, there isn't much seating inside, so I recommend sitting outside.The staff was really friendly and very apologetic that they ran of out kimbap. No matter, we ordered a Kalbi and Spicy Pork bowl. If you have a standard appetite, order to-go, as even a bowl is a lot of food. The meat seemed to be cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious. The veggies are served cool, but are cooked so they are soft to the tooth. The salad comes with a standard Korean vinegar based dressing. There is a great topping to rice ratio, so it is well worth the price.After trying another dosirak place in Lake Forest, I can say Dosirak Express will be my go-to. Since it's a bit out of the way from the standard Irvine thoroughfares, I won't be coming here too often. But when I'm in the area, I'll make sure to bring my appetite.

If you're looking for a quick Korean food fix, Dosirak is the place to go for a Togo lunch or dinner during a weekday. Their dosirak are similar to a bento box style dish where there's a main protein entree served with steamed rice and a couple side dishes on the side. Their kimbap are also very popular and you can't go wrong with either options. I also tried their homemade side dishes they sell on the side refrigerator. The spicy pickled radish was fermented perfectly. This is more of a quick casual spot for food to go rather than a sit down place.

They have a variety to choose from, including vegetarian options. The service was prompt and friendly, ensuring my order was ready on time. They also offer pre-made options in their refrigerated section to choose from. This is really only a take out place with no dining area. If you're craving quick to go Korean cuisine, Dosirak is the place to go.

A convenient store to satisfy your korean food cravings. The kimbap was pretty inexpensive and a good, filling meal to eat for a quick lunch. Kimbap is premade and sits in their food warmer, while it wasn't the most amazing kimbap I've ever had, it was still pretty delicious. I got the spam kimbap. Kimchi is a bit on the sour side, but still a solid pairing to eat with your kimbap. I also got a spicy pork triangle kimbap to eat later, which was also pretty good considering it was refrigerated and premade. The spicy pork is a bit on the sweet side, but honestly a very affordable option!

Plenty of seating outside but only a few chairs inside the building, it's really meant for just waiting for your order. The cashier was friendly. Their bibimbap and bulgogi bowls are great! I also recommend the kimbap, but you have to get them earlier in the day since they run out later. Pretty good food for on the go.
