Honestly, this place makes one of the best donuts I've ever had. The dough is fluffy and airy yet remains intact. You can tell its freshness as the donuts can stay fresh for a week. I have to say the quality is amazing. What was really nice was I took out my blueberry donut order and still received it as a bonus on DoorDash. Definitely recommend this place and hope it doesn't change!

Mom was craving a donut (specifically an apple fritter) after dinner on a recent trip so Southern California so stopped by this Donut Star as it said they were open 24 hours. We came around 8:00 PM and there wasn't much selection left. We ended up getting a dozen donut holes and a glazed buttermilk donut. They were only good but not great. You'd think for a 24 hour donut shop, they'd have more of a selection all day or at least offer to make you some if you're willing to wait. The older lady in the front (owner possibly) wasn't very friendly. She looked like she hated her job and no hi or smile when we walked in. Curtly asked what we wanted as we were browsing. After we stated what we wanted, she asked, that's it? We paid and left with no appreciation thank you. Next time we're in the area, going to pass as so many other places to try.

Stopped by this morning to get a treat for someone's birthday. The lady was rude and abrupt. We asked for a small container and even offered to pay for it but she rudely said no.

This is hands down the rudest establishment I've ever been to. The first time I encountered it I attributed it to someone having a bad day. But after five visits of consistently rude service, I'm thinking this is not a correctable issue. If you want the soup nazi version of donuts, this is your place.

As I open my box of food I saw a hair inside. I thought it might've been mine but I found multiple of them. I didn't make much of it until I found 5 hairs as well as a white one that blends in with the styrofoam. I'm greatful for my food and will eat it as it's just hair to me and it wasn't in the food but on the styrofoam but for some people that might not be the case. Coffee was good though!

The donut shop has a sign on their window that says there is a student offer for a free small milk & donut OR a free small milk & ham/cheese sandwich. When I went in with a student ID and asked for the student deal, she just said "No" with a straight face and no explanation. So I did end up paying for my donut but the fruity pebbles on the donut were really stale and just ruined the whole thing.
