Don Pollo

I've been going to this small venue for many years. I came across them when I was living in Fullerton. I don't know why there's any negative reviews. It is a small Mom and Pop hole in the wall chicken venue. To this very day all my family members order chicken from Don Pollo and I still continue to do so for any dinners and parties, I hear people rave how great the chicken, salsa, and potato salad taste. Don pollo has been in the area for many years and it doesn't disappoint. I did the chicken mean and it comes beans, rice, salsa and some potato salad. I loved the rice and the potato salad very tasty. The chicken can be a little crisper but still tasted well. The place may look a little outdated on the inside but its definitely worth a try.

Great chicken spot. Really great chicken and sides, for a very fair price. We come pretty often for the mini family pack and regular family pack. Highly recommend.

I ordered over the phone and within 15 minutes it was ready. The chicken is amazing! Pair it with the rice and beans on a flour tortilla, add some salsa and BAM! Everyone's happy!!

Mugroso means dirty in English and this place fits the description of a dirty-filthy place. I ordered and could not get my self to eat the chicken just thinking about how dirty this place. Shame on the ownership, not sure how anyone thinking of eating chicken could eat here. SCARY would not be surprised if someone eats chicken from this place and drops dead after. People leaving reviews of 5 stars are either blind or use to the filth. A business that serves food and is not clean is not a good combo.

It was a Sunday and I called to make sure they were opened. Yep, until 9:00.It's located in a strip mall behind Harley Davidson, next door to Chicken University, a Korean fried chicken place. I stopped by after a Ducks hockey game, and picked up the $15 family pack; a whole chicken, 3 sides, tortillas and salsa. It's not on the menu but there's a poster on the front window.The chicken was pulled from the spit, and it was piping hot. The sides looked small, but surprisingly it was enough for 2-3 people, especially with the tortillas.I really liked the sides, especially the potato salad. It was really creamy. The rice was a bit dry, but still good.The chicken had a nice citrusy flavor. Juicy and moist. It was REALLY GOOD. I would stop here again. I'd pick up an extra salsa. One isn't enough. The mild is not spicy at all. Dinner was plenty for 2, and was $17 and change, tax included.

Amazing simply amazing, so much flavor, move aside pollo loco, juan pollo and all you fake pollo Rostizado franchises.

Thoroughly impressed!! My entire party of 8 who got to enjoy this delicious food cannot stop raving about it. I hosted a dinner party for my grandpa's birthday last month. My family loves Juan Pollo, but I wanted something a bit closer since we live in Fullerton. I am so glad we picked this! Everything was phenomenal. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The beans were perfectly cooked and very tasty. I was worried about the potato salad. I am such a huge fan of Juan Pollo's and any competitors never tastes as good to me. Let me tell you, this was the best potato salad ever!! SO DANG GOOD! I tried a bite of the rice, also yummy. I wanted to keep my starch as the potato salad, since I had a few servings ;) I did not pick up the food, but my husband and grandpa said service was great. Everything was top notch, and we are now loyal customers.

We were so excited and on our way from downtown fullerton to get some rotisserie chicken and it is our first time trying out this place and the hours says they are open until 9:00 pm but we came at 8:30 and it was closed. You guys should update your hours on yelp please so there is no confusion on first time costumers.
