Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Stopped by here with the kids after church on Sunday. So awesome that they get a full kids meal for free with purchase of an adult meal. The portions are generous and everyone left full. We had Texas brisket, southern pulled pork and chicken.I've never seen a baked potato so big. What a great deal!

The place is big and spacious, but I didn't buy food for on-site consumption. I got a "Big Yellow Box" to go.The food was plentiful, and it wasn't half bad. Probably the best dishes were the brisket and the Mac and cheese.The place was difficult to find. Using 2 GPS devices and neither took me to the right location.My second issue is that as soon as I walked in, there was a terrible stench of sewage. It diminished quickly, but I don't know if it went away or I just got used to it.The other issue I had is that every single container of food was handled with bbq sauce covered hands/gloves. These were covered from top to bottom.

I recently placed an online order last Saturday at 6:00 in the evening paid for it all $70 with the gift card went to pick it up after 30 minutes only to be told my order was canceled by corporate. Because they couldn't reach me by phone. I paid for the order so why would you cancel it or need to talk to me? I will never eat at Dickey's again this is the second time the service has been less than zero I will not give you another chance. The manager or whoever was working was a very rude young lady. I mean the restaurant was empty, completely Empty at 6:15 on a Saturday and you treat customers like this? That should've been a clue about the service at this dump. If I could give a zero, I would. Never got to eat the food so I cannot comment on that, although customer service gave me a lasting nasty taste in my mouth.

My dad just got out of the hospital from a 2 week visit. He was suffering from the terrible, bland hospital food. He wanted pork ribs and baked beans. My sister picked up dickeys and brought it over for dinner. He loved it! Will be back soon!

This is an update for my review on the horrible food we got at Dickeys bbq for our New Year's dinner. I was asked to correspond with the manager of the restaurant which I did. That was 2 weeks ago. I've heard nothing from her. What did I expect from someone who would let the poor quality of their food go out . This was our first time in eating Dickeys. We got gift cards for Christmas. Maybe we will try another store, but I recommend you don't go to the one in Buena Park. I have to add a star to post but if I could put minus stars I would.

Great food and service! I ordered the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork with the classic hot bbq sauce. It was delicious. Worth the trip!

I got to say I loved this place. It's hard to find a three meat bbq combo for 23 dollars specially one that is freaking delicious. My son and I were hungry and had time to kill before the movie at krikorian so we stepped into this bbq place. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and you GoPro love the price. The people working there were very nice to us which I appreciated very much. I have to bring the rest of the family here before our next movie.

This spot never disappoints! Fast, and great service, the food is always delicious! My favorite is the brisket! The ambience in the restaurant is great come in and have a sitdown meal with your family or group of friends!

Not real food. Processed frozen food isle and heat lamp establishment. Definitely feels like a front for something. Chicken sandwich was a processed meat product from the freezer isle w a drop of sauce, nothing else. Mac & Cheese was a processed, buy by the lb from the grocery store deli. Was not a pleasant meal/experience. It was really bad. I doubt they care about their rating w serving products like this. I did give a piece of the chicken patty to my dog :( Then I felt bad.

This is the first time I ever ordered from Dickey's I had a delivered because I'm very sick in bed and I cannot cook, I was craving okra fried okra and they definitely did not disappoint the barbecue sauce is wonderful all the meat was wonderful I didn't like the mashed potato stuff but it was just playing mashed potato, I will definitely be going back
