Den Da Coffee & Tea Restaurant

Their outdoor dining reminds me of coffee shops in Vietnam. I believe this is a family owned business. They are very attentive and welcoming. We ordered a variety of their hot and color drinks. Each one was well balanced in flavor, strong, and good. The banh mi dac biet is not your typical staple. It was like meat wrapped with egg, and honestly we did not enjoy it. I would stick to the drinks. Their coffee is worth the trip though.

Just a small restaurant at the back of a many restaurant around, They use the back alley for outdoor dining, which happens to end up being fairly nice. Too bad they allow their guests to smoke outside in the dining area. As a non-smoker and averse to cigarette smoke that is something I don't like very much.My friend recommended to me that the vermicelli soup ( bún riêu) here is delicious but in my opinion it is not completely traditional and not very impressive to me. However, it is also quite okay if you are not a perfectionist about understanding traditional Vietnamese dishes. The guy waitresses were friendly enough but the lady seems an owner not handling the customer's request skillfully. At that time, the restaurant was not too crowded while , I did not want to sit near the entrance door because I was afraid of being cold. I asked to sit inside but they did not let us in just because there were two of us. They said to reserve that table for four people or more, but then there were no customers. The people who came after us were seated at the table inside, they also only had two people. That did not score points in my eyes.

Walking in, I wasn't sure where to go to get seated, there is no hostess stand just tables, so a bit confused.We were seated right away as soon as the hubs got the servers attention. After that, things went smoothly with ordering. We tried the shaking beef with egg noodles, the Bo ne, and the salmon. All food items were delicious and perfectly cooked as requested. The bread that came with the Bo Ne was delicious and we had to ask where they got it. Turns out, they get it from Mr. baguette, so needless to say, we stopped by after lunch. My only complaint I had was the smoke wafting in from the outside patio area. The door was open and each time someone would light up, it would waft in to the restaurant.

Food//Salmon skillet (Cả Salmon) was delicious and highly recommend because it comes with a small bowl of veggies and super crispy baguette! One of the best baguettes I've eaten. It comes with a small packaged butter. Both salmon and beef skillets contain the same sauce with an egg, couple of potatoes, onions, mushrooms and garnish of parsley and green onion. The medium rare beef skillet wasn't as sizzling hot as expected and prob because we asked for medium rare but would have preferred that. Clear noodle seafood stir fry had a couple of mussels and bits of scallop. Not bad. Service//Nice staff. Attentive to refilling my water and bringing extra plates. Ambiance//Not a whole lot of seating inside but not that limited either since there are tables and chairs outside too. Only downside is for me was the smoking. Other than that, it's a cute brunch/restaurant place for some Vietnamese foods line the infamous Bo Ne/ Beef skillet.

This was my first visit to Den Da Cafe. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. It was breakfast time, and I ordered banh mi chao (breakfast hot plate) and salted hot coffee. Both were extremely delicious! They serve you complimentary hot tea, which was also very pleasant. I will come back to Den Da, for sure!

I love bo ne!! ( beef skillet). Den Da 's bo ne has their own unique style . I think they use fillet mignon. Nice seasoning. How ever both dishes didn't come out as hot as I expected. I like how they include the salad on the side for my Bo ne.Banh mi xiu mai ( meatball) didnt include the side salad, however there are more toppings for this dish.Overall: 3.5/5 in my opnion. Also :Their coffee is really good

I love the atmosphere here. It's very relaxing when it's not busy. Bun rieu and their hot coffee are my favorites. There are plenty of parking spaces so that's a plus. Last but not least, customer service is outstanding.

First time here and it was super good big portion and very flavorful I recommend!! Definitely would come back to try the other dishes !

Second time here and the expectation was met. The sizzling filet magnum was so good and tender. The soup was excellent. Good service and location. Will come back.

We had bun rieu and bun bo hue, the food was good and the service was really nice. We also got a discount lol.
