Del Taco

I got a bean and cheese burrito today drive thru for breakfast/lunch and the nicest guy greeted me thru the ordering menu. Sounded super genuine thru the speaker. And he did the same the car in front of of me. I heard him. Nice young man that seems to genuinely like and appreciate his job. Was today 10/24 around 10-11 am drive thru. Nice hardworking employee!

Del Taco never disappoints, and my recent visit was no exception! I ordered a variety of items, including two hard tacos, a chicken burrito roller, and a crispy chicken taco, and I was delighted with every bite. The hard tacos were loaded with seasoned beef, fresh lettuce, and a perfect amount of cheese, all encased in crunchy shells that held up well to every savory mouthful. All what you expect from the classic hard taco. The chicken burrito roller was filled with tender chicken, but had too much cheese for my taste. All in all, I know what I am getting when I pull up to del taco. Always consistent. Fast and efficient service.

SHADY DEL TACO! FRAUDULENT USE OF MY CREDIT CARD! I went there on 09/28/22 to buy a medium fries for my pregnant wife. I left without grabbing my credit card. That's my fault and I should have been more careful. Fast forward to today (09/30/22), I backtracked my where I last used my credit card and pinpointed it to this location. I came to pick up my credit card. When I came home, I checked my credit card and saw two transactions. One for $3.27 which was my order. The other transaction of $14.84. This transaction was FRAUDULENT. Therefore it had to be a Del Taco employee to used my credit card hoping I wouldn't notice. Oh, were they wrong. I was hoping this place was honest and held my credit card for me to come pick it up. I was actually excited to write a 5 star review for their honesty for not using my card. Unfortunately, I was wrong. DEAD WRONG. Avoid this place at all cost.

We enjoy the good service at this drive-through people are always very friendly. We only had one problem today, some homeless person was at the speaker box area, when my wife was trying to order her food. He kept on harassing her asking for food for him and his brother.My wife is in her 60s and felt very scared about the homeless person that was harassing her. Please have your employees watch for the homeless people that are harassing your drive-through customers This is totally unacceptable !!!!!

Stopped by to grab a quick burrito. Ordered the 8 Layer Veggie w Beyond Meat. Menu said $5.39, guy tells me, $6.76. Wait, what? I get to the window and ask why the price is so high and ask if the tax is that much. Employee gives me attitude and repeats what I ordered. I tell him on the menu it says, $5.39. He tells me it's 'extra' for the beyond meat. I know, the regular 8 Layer says $4.29 - and for Beyond Meat it's $5.39. Either way the burrito shouldn't be close to $7.The employees should know what's on the menu and what to charge. Instead of copping attitude when they get questioned for being overcharged.

This place is absolutely horrible they let homeless people go to their drive-thru window hold up the whole line and infect the surface where my food is being served and when you ask the manager about it he don't even care!! Disgusting shame on you del Taco!

Usually not one to yelp about small fast food places , things happen mistakes happen , but the lack of management skills this del tacos has , is horrible , no leadership , manager didn't get his name but has a tattoo on his forearm was rude and did not care for the mistakes that made they for my order incorrect and forgot to add the items in the bag , to top it off I got charged for things I didn't get , and said rudely check in the bag it's in there, when it wasn't , the 2nd time I came back I had gotten home and realized they didn't even give me the fries , with an order of 43 dollars I returned and asked to have my food redone so we can all eat together and he said " it's too much food to redo" so either he's lazy or didn't care for his mistakes, a manager like this that doesn't care shouldn't lead others

I normally do not have issues with this particular Del Taco, however, tonight was especially bad! I ordered 12 taco Tuesday tacos, 2 quesadilla tacos, and a fish taco combo. All of that food with only 6 packets of sauce when I specifically asked for plenty! The shells were cracked and the rich taco were inedible! They must have fried them twice. To top it all off they didn't furnish me with a receipt, so I had no point of reference when I called to complain! The absolute worse part of it was when I called to complain, the manager denied all wrongdoing! I have up and said I will never return! It was a ruined meal that they were unwilling to compensate me for! Choose a better Del Taco is my advice! Unfortunately, they are all getting bad in my area! It's really too bad, I enjoyed they're food, when they get it right.

Today I went to the Santa Ana location at 2300 Tustin. I witnessed the employee Veronica Taking orders but being disnissive and rude to cutomers as they can up for their orders, including myself. She continued to have an unpleasant attitude toward anyone who ordered after me. A gentleman who came in around the same time, placed his order and was dismissed almost immediately before he was able to let her know he needed it to go. She spun around from just about to walk away, rolling her eyes, made an irritated grunt noise as she corrected the order on her screen. Her behavior was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. As she handed him his order she just dropped it on the counter and proceeded to dismiss him. However, she did not give him his complete order to which he then proceeded to ask for the managers name. As he proceeds to ask for the manager who I could see standing in the back, Veronica snapped back with "I'm team, we're in the middle of a rush, what the fuck do you want" in the most appalling, unprofessional manner. I was completely taken back by what I saw and heard. I've never felt more sorry for someone than I did for that poor man. He was missing half his order and trying to correct it. As he turned to walk out she told him he was no longer welcomed at this location and proceeded to record him as she then proceeded to lock the doors behind him. I sat there uncomfortably trying to enjoy my food after myself paying for rude customer service all while witnessing what I did from your staff to paying customers. I am only writing this complaint because the amount of profanity I heard coming from the team lead, Veronica, while her manager was standing behind her just watching. The whole situation was uncomfortable and it was lunch run so the dining area was packed. I come to this location often as it is closer to my job. After the way I was treated and saw how others were treated I will not be returning to this establishment. Im glad Veronica called the police because they showed up and made sure he got the items he paid for. I'm disappointed as a business owner myself, as I would never consider employing such crass, disrespectful people to work in my establishment. This was a very embarrassing situation to have happen in front of so many customers.

Stale fries and this abomination of a birria taco. This pos cost the equivalent of $4 considering I had to buy 2.
