DAI Sushi

This sushi spot is kind of lowkey and casual in ambiance but the food quality is high! It is so so good! Pro-tip, get the tako wasabi! Great as a topping to your sushi but also I ate it as if it was a side dish itself. The oyster shooters were fun, would skip on the uni shooter and get another oyster instead.Loved all of the nigiri that we ordered, all super fresh and the presentation was beautiful! Had takeout from here once also and that was also super well packaged and fresh. The service is nice and standard! Had the ice cream tempura/fried ice cream here and that was just okay, the fried exterior did not stick well to the ice cream so that could be a skip.

Half price sushi and large bento boxes drew us in for dinner here. Sushi tasted fresh and food came out quickly. I'm impressed with the size and value of the bento boxes. I got chicken and salmon teriyaki. The chicken was cooked to be a bit crispy/tough is the only way I could describe it but I like this texture so thoroughly enjoyed it. We also orders the udon and it was just ok. East parking. Casual. Indoor seating. Please come and crest our own experience.

The restaurant is slightly dim inside but I personally thought it had a nice and cozy ambience . They are currently having a a 50% off sushi and so we took advantage of the deal and tried a few items. We ordered Sashimi Salad, blue fin tuna , yellowtail sushi's , octopus sushi, salmon avocado roll, bake salmon rolls, truffle salmon, sunset rolls, sushi seeing that it came out quick and was so melt in your mouth delicious.The fish here is incredibly fresh , The prices were great compared to other nearby sushi places . Customer service should pay attention more to the clients!

I was super excited to try a new sushi spot, but this one fell flat. Since they recently opened, they are offering 50% sushi. We ordered a variety including yellowtail, tuna, sea bream, and mackerel to take advantage of the discount. However, all the sushi rice was dipped in soy sauce. When we picked up each piece of sushi, it left a puddle of excess soy sauce. We couldn't taste the fish or judge its quality. Our only assumption is that the soy sauce helps mask a lesser quality grade or cut of fish. We will sadly not be returning.

This place had a nice little set up. I came around lunch time and the seats seemed to fill up fast. I ordered a toro hand roll and the nabeyaki udon. The toro hand roll initially concerned me because the toro looked grayish, but it tasted fine; I just hope I'll feel fine later. I also ordered the Nabeyaki Udon, which is udon in a hot pot. The udon was absolutely filling and was really good. The servers checked up on us multiple times and were great. I would 100% come back and I enjoyed my food and experience here at Dai Sushi.

I wanted to take my uncle out to eat so we tried out this sushi spot by his house. It's located in the right corner of a big shopping center.I definitely will be coming to this place, the atmosphere is chill, I like the way the restaurant is decorated, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Overall a positive and memorable experience.

My go to spot for sushi in HB . Bomb as always. Be prepared to wait as they do get busy , but that's expected when the food is that good. I always forget to take photos of my food but I think the picture speaks for itself .

This place is tucked in a large shopping center off of beach blvd. Ample parking spaces.Walked and were greeted by many severs. Cute Japanese like decor, small but quaint.Not super busy for lunch but they have a good bento box or even sushi for about 4.5 for 2. The fish taste fresh and I thought the prices were pretty reasonable for what they offer. I wouldn't mind coming back to trying other rolls and items.

Check in for a free hot sake and 50% off some of the sushi pieces!Don't expect to be blown away here by ordering items like ramen, udon, beef, chicken teriyaki, shrimp sushi, cucumber roll etc... what really highlights this place is their fish quality!I have eaten many different omakase only places and the quality is right behind if not right there! There were some pieces that were just okay to me, but there were other pieces that were amazing, buttery melt in your mouth delicious! Here they are...Hits: 1. Salmon Belly2. Yellowtail Belly3. Japanese Scallop 4. Toro and blue fin tuna5. Amberjack 6. Seabream 7. A5 Wagyu Okay (These pieces were decent):1. Black Cod2. Mackerel 3. Jalapeño yellowtail 4. Shrimp We also ordered the Premium sushi set for $35 which came with 12 pieces, a salad, miso soup, and a crab hand roll (The hand roll was super good, loved the soy paper wrap and the salad had a great sesame dressing)We also ordered appetizers such as crispy tuna rice and baked scallops, both pretty good as well.We ordered a ton of food and our bill was $150. Pretty affordable if you're looking for great quality sushi but don't want to go to an omakase place and pay $200 per person. The unique flavors and presentation is not like an omakase joint, but the sushi quality hits!Already can't wait to come back!

Amazing selection of nigiri and miso soup was great too! I got it to-go and it was all delicious. Service was friendly and gave complimentary hot green tea while I was waiting for my order. High quality affordable sushi can be hard to find so I'm really happy I decided to try out this place. Each piece was very buttery and melt in your mouth. Would love to take my significant other and/or friends back here to dine in one day. The decor was cute and felt very cozy intimate vibes.
