Crispy House Filipino Restaurant

While certain dishes stood out (the kare kare for instance with its ultra rich, peanut sauce), others like the pork sisig (too salty) are a pass. The flaming halo-halo was absolutely delicious and caramelizing the flan on top with the fire was a nice touch.With the slow, slowdown service however, I think I'll have lunch elsewhere. It was a good one-timer though.

We called in our order. Our order included pork adobo, poncit and white rice. A ETA of 2hrs was giving. Wtf! We placed order. Sooo 120 minutes later, we went to pick up order. We stood in line for 20 minutes. "The cashier" was moving slower than molasses on a COLD WINTERS DAY!!! Just to be told our order is not ready. Its going on 3hrs now give or take. By this time we invested our time for a order that wasnt even complete!! Once home and everything was out of bag. The dam cook or waitress did not include our Rice!! And one order of adobo!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN!! THE STAFF HAS NO PERSONALITY AND VERY RUDE! "DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY HERE! OVER PRICED FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD. We should have went to $1.00 Chinese Fast Food.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- because the staff is unprofessional, rude, dismissive of your time, & lack the decency to provide actual time frames for picking up food that was ordered two weeks in advance with payment provided upon ordering. Considering that tomorrow being the holiday, I made sure to order ahead. I provided them with my ETA as it differed from an hour earlier than originally said. The employee took note of it, I got there at the time that was updated... patiently waited knowing it's a busy time, however they had me waiting over an hour just to pick up a small order of sisig compared to those picking up food. I was told every time I asked for an update that it would be 5-10 min more and yet a larger order of sisig was made for a customer who wasn't even there before I was provided my small order of Sisig. There were others who were also mad as they also ordered ahead and were about to ask for a refund, then only then they received their order. I had to raise my voice, cause a scene to just get my point across and get my order faster. Ambiance = rude & worst service ***DON'T SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS - THEY DEFINITELY DON'T PROVIDE THE HOSPITALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE OF A TRUE PINOY BUSINESS. NO POINT OF ORDERING AHEAD AS YOU STILL HAVE TO WAIT BEYOND THE TIME YOU DESIRED.***If I could give this place minus stars I would.

Very disappointed every time I try to order food from this establishment.Their restaurant also does not have a sign so good luck finding the place at all especially with a limited parking lot. If you are picking up an order you called ahead, you have to CALL AGAIN 30 minutes you plan to pick up your food to make sure it will be ready by the time you arrive to pick up the order. This restaurant is a waste of time, waste of energy, and waste of money. If you want Filipino food go to a place that will respect their customers and not blow off orders.

My mother moved to Tennessee so when she comes home to visit she likes eating Filipino food since she can't really get it much out there. We enjoyed this place. The food tasted like someone literally cooked it at home for a ton of people. Authenticity at its finest. A good place to just go and eat. Food is good, service is good and it's a relaxed atmosphere. Not really a place for a romantic dinner but great spot to get your Filipino food fix! This is a spot we will most likely go back to.

This place was originally named Magic Wok when I first went here. It is the same people that run it since the first time my Mom brought me here. They are friendly. The place could use a facelift. Ambiance is that of a "mom and pop" cafe.Food is always comforting. My staples are the Crispy Pata and the Pancit Canton..but I ordered the Pancit Sotanghon for my nephew. Also ordered another staple.. Shanghai Lunpia. My Dad had the Pinakbet. I liked it all except for the Sotanghon. I just like the other noodles but this one was fine. They really haven't changed their recipes since I have been going here so I'm happy about that.Usually a wait so try not to go across the way to Del Taco for a snack. LOL.Had the Halo Halo which is decent at $6.99. Refreshing on a hot day.

The food was delicious, the service and time allotted for takeout not the greatest. It smells very strong around the exterior of restaurant , like sewer... so creates unwanted feelings when it comes to food. However you can't beat the flavor so tip is to call 1 to 2 hours ahead for takeout or else you risk waiting for an hour upon arrival.

The food is amazing but the wait for the food is sloooowww if u order for pick up and they said it is ready in 30 mins, expect to wait an hour and 30 mins for the food to be ready. If ur hungry like me and craving for good crispy pata know u will be waiting awhile if it's a to go order. If u eat inside the service is faster...I think. People are willing to wait bc it is cheap crispy pata for $16.99. Ask me if I'll come back the answer is yes. Ask me if I like to wait a long time for food I called in advance..no.

Definitely the best sisig in OC! Just hope they answer the phone...so you can place an order ahead of time--otherwise, expect to wait 30-40 minutes.

Food was yummy, service is great, ambiance was pkeasant and always smile in there face. Love it.
