Crazy Rock'N Sushi - La Puente

Parking: The parking lot is very spacious. There is plenty of parking in the front and the back. For anyone that is curious it is located in a shared plaza with other stores. Inside: The vibes of the outside of the restaurant are very different from the inside. The interior was nicely decorated and very clean. When I came in I was greeted and seated right away. I mostly saw booth seating so I am unsure if there was bar seating. Rolls: They have an offer every day where you can buy one get one 50% off on their special rolls. Unfortunately, the offer is only valid when you dine in. The following are the rolls I ordered:Alaskan Roll: the inside of the roll came with crabmeat and avocado. The outside had salmon, red onions and a soy sauce dressing. I always order this one when I come and it's delicious every time. If you love onions, tangy flavors and salmon you would love this one. 10 out of 10Zen Roll: the inside of the came with tuna, salmon and yellowtail. The outside is soy paper, avocado, masago, and green onions. I wanted to try this roll because I was curious about the soy paper but to be honest I was not a fan of the soy paper and the sauce for this roll. Everything else was delicious about this roll though. 7.5 out of 10Rainbow Roll: the inside of the roll comes with crabmeat and avocado. The outside was a mix of salmon, tuna, albacore, shrimp and avocado. 10 out of 10 Captain America: the inside contained shrimp and crawfish tempura, spicy tuna and cucumber. The outside had eel, avocado, tempura crumbs and eel sauce. I'm not a big fan of eel but this one was pretty good. It was a very fried roll with sweet sauce. 8.5 out of 10 Mixed tempura: came with green beans, sweet potato, shrimp, and pumpkin. It was fried well and tasted really fresh. The sauce that came with tasted a bit watered down but it wasn't bad. 9 out of 10Overall: This was my first time here and it was pretty great. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I mostly came here to eat rolls, but they had plenty of other options if you aren't into that and they do serve alcohol. Most of their rolls contained spicy tuna, which I don't enjoy eating ,but they had plenty of other choices. I would say it's a cute spot to drop by for a date. 10 out of 10 would come back again.

The service at this restaurant is horrible if you want to be ignored by the staff here this is a place to go!! I decided to take my children and I to dinner. We got called to be seated. We were ignored for 25 minutes and then a waitress came she moved us to another table ( no reason given). We were at our new table for 15 minutes, No one came up to us to ask if we needed anything to drink... We were ignored. Eventually a waiter walked by and let us know that he will be right with us. He finally got to our table wiping his runny nose, like if he was sick. I was done ... I had to walk out of this place and ended up having dinner at Mikomi Sushi in West Covina.

AN END TO CRAZY ROCKIN SUSHI ERA. THE MANAGEMENT IS RUDE, FOOD IS TERRIBLE, AND TAKOUT IS ALWAYS WRONG!I hate to see places change so drastically, and customer service diminish. I went to pick up and order (my father and I come frequently) and some of the OG servers who are left are the only good thing left in this place.Customer service :0/5I ordered a spicy seafood undon soup, with beef (up charge) , and a chicken bowl. Seems pretty basic, right? Before leaving, I asked the lady in front if my beef was in there, because my orders are usually never right. She said "YES". I went home, to my surprise my order is wrong. I called, and things got even messier. She asked if I wanted to come back (I live way across town) I said that I couldn't, due to it being too far. She said they can refund, I agreed. She then said if it doesn't refund (I'm assuming they would forget? Unorganized? Im not sure) to just come inside in a few days. I asked if I could speak to a manager. As I explained to a manager what happened, he said "Um, what? What are you asking? What do you want!!!!??????" How freakin unprofessional, right?!I explained to the manager AGAIN! He didn't listen, and just screamed "JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT, OK!!!!???" I then said "I just want a full refund and I will never come back! " he said "OK. ILL GIVE U A FULL REFUND. BYE. " and hung up in my face. We always come when we are craving sushi, we tip 20%, order lots of food, and try to be decent people only for this kind of thanks in return. I truly hope I'm refunded for these cold noodles, nothing in my soup, and a waste of a trip to this sushi place I once loved. I truly hope better management steps in one day- that's when I will return.

We came to here for Friday night dinner since we were craving Sushi and this is one of our favorite spots The hostess staff is always warm, welcoming, and accommodating that set the tone for a great dinning experience. Now let's talk about the heart and soul of Crazy Rock N Sushi, the food. The menu boasts an array of authentic Japanese cuisine that transported my tastebuds to various levels. Each dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece with a perfect blend of flavors and textures that showcases Management's commitment to quality and authenticity. In conclusion, Crazy Rock N Sushi is a must when craving good food and this spot always succeeds our expectations. We'll definitely be back!!

Crazy RockN Sushi is such a hole in the wall kind of vibe when it comes to sushi places. Their rolls are fulfilling, its in a hidden dead looking plaza but the inside is very much alive!Traditional Japanese vibes coming in, great for date night or group of friends. The parking is plenty shared with the quiet plaza otherwise (most of the car in the parking lot is for this place lol). We came on a weekday, the wait wasn't too bad but def busy.They had decent priced drinks, and also rolls. At the time I went they offered buy one get one half off, which was nice, because our bill came out reasonable. I would come back again! The servers are super nice, and their chopstick are solid quality smooth ones (as asians you know that's a key point haha). They have restrooms here too. I do enjoy the atmosphere, and the decor as well.

I've now come here a few times and unfortunately, it seems to just get worse and worse however continues to have some similarities (negatively).First of all, if you look through all the reviews always there's always a mention about gnats / fruit flies... every single time that I've come I always see them swirling around my table and it's disgusting. Quality has really taken a dive, and last night was awful. The sushi that I received was not only not fresh, but did not taste normal at all. In one of the photos, you can see bottom right is supposed to be tuna, however, it was more pink, which tells me that it is not fresh and frozen. Also you can tell when sushi is not fresh when you press on it and the sushi does not move back to its original shape, it was uneatable. Service was great...but sadly that won't cut it.Overall, this will be the last time I come to this place simply because the quality is dreadful, and the fact that I was served terrible sushi is a testament that they don't care about quality, and whoever was cutting that sashimi up in the back should be ashamed to serve that...

I love this placeeeeee. The sushi is so bomb. Im basic when it comes to sushi so this place is perfect. There's a lot of options regardless! It's a cute little spot and I've received great service here as well. Would go back for a 10th time

I went in today with a friend of mine and ordered a roll and some drinks. The roll was delicious and the service was even better. Nyccole was very helpful, energetic and was checking in consistently. Will definitely be coming back soon!
