What a fun, kitschy, western themed bar! My girlfriends and I came here to celebrate my birthday and we had a nice time. The drinks were tasty, ambiance is great- we sat in the little stagecoach and it was a nice privatish area where we could enjoy drink but it also felt a little private for intimate conversations which was nice. The AC was kicking when we first got there so it was also a perfect spot to shelter us a bit from that because we were a bit underdressed for the weather.Angela, the host was really friendly and helpful. The music was good and drinks were tasty. I debated on getting the sage drink but a couple people got it on the other side of the bar and it made it incredibly smoky and I'm a bit sensitive to smoke so it was harsh for me being in an enclosed area with the smoke so we had to leave after our first drink, but overall a great little spot.

A super cute salon like Speakeasy at the CAMPOUT. It was packed on a Saturday early evening. We waited in line about 20 minutes and found a small table with two seats in the corner. This place is tiny and large couches were reserved for bigger groups. So more than 4 people come in will have a hard time finding any seats. They had some interesting cocktails but I just wanted some bubbly. We ordered a bottle of Rose champagne and hubby had a whiskey on rocks too. This place was lively and energetic but a bit loud for me. I managed to finish the champagne as fast as I could and ready to leave! I offered our cozy seats to some young women from a group before we left. A fun Speakeasy to hang out and it's definitely worth checking out!

Wonderful ambiance and fun speakeasy in the Costa Mesa area. When we arrived, we were ecstatically greeted by a host who made sure to give us the entire run down about the menu, service, and photo ops. We had just come from another "speakeasy" nearby but it was extremely crowded and went to Cowboys and Poodles on a whim. Boy were we impressed! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our drinks (menu has a great mocktail selection fyi) and stayed until it got a bit too crowded. Be sure to come before 9:30pm or else it gets busy--fast! By the time we left around 11:30pm on a Friday night, there was quite a bit of a line through the door. There's only a small parking lot so you may have to park on the street (where there's more spots) but it shouldn't be too difficult to do so.

Cowboys and poodles is a super fun themed bar because the decor combines the two concepts so well. Visited on a Wednesday night and it was PACKED. Pretty much felt like a can of sardines mostly because the space is very small. There were virtually no seats available so people do get pushy when a party leaves to try and snag a spot. They also had live music performing country classics which was nice for the vibes but not so nice for the conversations. My group and I definitely had to yell to talk to each other. Ordering was pretty difficult because they have seating all around the bar which makes it hard to pop in and place an order. It took us around 30 minutes to even get to the bar to place our orders. The drinks were just okay. They had a good balance between alcohol and other ingredients but nothing impressed me and the drink wasn't crazy tasty. They have 2 bathrooms and I was actually very surprised at how clean they were. Parking was easy when we came at 10pm but I've been to the brewery next door at 6pm and it was virtually impossible to find a parking space in the small lot. Overall I think Cowboys and Poodles is great to experience once because of the theme and decor. But I probably wouldn't come back because it was more work for what it was worth.

Great cocktails! They do not customize any of the cocktails. The cocktails come as they do. Came here in a group of five people and seating was hard to find so some of us were standing while others seated at the bar. The ambiance is really neat and unique. We each had at least two drinks because they were that good. I will definitely be back!

Cowboys and Poodles is located in the Camp in Costa Mesa. Its a really cute speakeasy but small and BUSY!I do recommend if coming on the weekend to come before 8pm as the wait time is minimal and you have a better chance ordering a drink as its not as packed. Keep in mind they only have one bar so after 8pm your battling it out for the bartenders attention and there will most likely be a line upon entering. However, the girl at the door was so kind and really made a great impression.Drinks are $18 and up and no food is served. They do have a pretty good dj on the weekends so it makes a good time! Recommend!

So much fun! Had been long wanting to visit Cowboys and Poodles and finally got to do so for New Year's Eve. The bar is small, so we lined up outside for about 20 minutes before heading in. The entrance is adorned with kitschy portraits, cowboy paraphernalia, and a fun selfie mirror. Behind a secret door lies the bar itself, which is adorned with western decor, funky seating options, and a large circular bar at the center. We tried the Velvet Saddle and the Say Aloe TMLF, both of which were strong and delicious. Of course, we also enjoyed a champagne toast, and throwback tunes that were perfect for us elder millennials to sing and dance to.Cowboys and Poodles is located on Randolph at the back side of the Camp, next to Salty Bear Brewing. I can't wait to come back to enjoy more delicious cocktails and sit in different seats throughout the room!

Yeehaw! okay that was cheesy but this place is not. Full of whimsy from the moment you are let through the door. Once in you can saddle up to the pony stools and order one of the signature cocktails and take it to the privacy of the inhouse stage couch. I recommend to go in early as this quint spot fills up quickly and once in its hard to leave as you will find yourself getting comfortable as there is ambiance and people watching in spades. I have taken everyone from friends, out of town visitors even my mom. Its a delight for all with quality cocktails and helpful mixologists you cant go wrong at Cowboys and Poodles.

Adorable aesthetic! They definitely nailed the theme here from the second you walk into the door. There was a little wait outside, but not too long. I had the Joie De Vivre cocktail which I enjoyed. Their menu had some great weekend happy hour specials that would be worth coming for!
