Took my mother for Sunday Brunch. Disappointed with quality of food, flat 1/2 glass of champagne (max 1), service was lacking for simple requests...lemon wedges. Also, it was so darn LOUD inside that you can't hear each-other. The photos and brunch menu descriptions on websites looked and sound amazing...NOT THE CASE! Valet parking only ($8 cash)The inside was beautifully decorated. They had a Photo Booth inside that didn't work and wouldn't send photos. So that was a waste of time. Hallway inside serves as a waiting area for people with reservations. Even though reservations are made, customers are still expected To wait 30 minutes to be seated. The servers were really nice., even on busy days. The food was delicious. We ordered a four course meal. The appetizer was nothing crazy just an empanada that tasted as if it was microwaved. The lobster bisque was delicious. Main course was over cooked. Dessert cake was still frozen from the freezer. Beautiful view of the 10 freeway and traffic As they sit you down in wobbly tables that moves as you eat your food. Good luck trying to flag down a server for a glass of water. However they're quick to bring you your bill to move you along.

When we arrived without a reservation, the host attended to us quickly and was very friendly. Our table was ready, and everything started off well. However, we had a disappointing experience when our food was mistakenly served to the table next to us. About 2-3 minutes later, the waiter realized the mistake, took the plate back from the other customer, and tried to serve it to us, even though the person had already added pepper and squeezed lemon on it.From a hygiene standpoint, this was completely unacceptable. We immediately told the waiter we wanted a fresh plate, as it was not right to serve us food that had already been handled by another customer. Even the person at the other table apologized and mentioned it was their first time at the restaurant. They confirmed they had seasoned the dish and also found it inappropriate for the waiter to try to give it to us. The staff should be better trained or at least use common sense in such situations.We mentioned this issue to our waitress but did not ask to speak with the manager. However, this experience made us decide that we probably wouldn't return. Additionally, my piña colada had more whipped cream than actual drink, which wasn't enjoyable. On the positive side, the food tasted good, but the bathrooms were a bit dirty, with paper towels scattered on the floor.

This Cuban restaurant is located off the 10 Fwy off the Fairplex Dr. Full sized bar. Valet parking only, @ $8. Also hosts wedding ceremonies & receptions. Growing up in SGV, I've been to Coco Palm's plenty of times and have been satisfied with every visit. We made reservations as we celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday this Saturday and had an amazing dining experience. Because we were a large party of 19, we were given a limited menu. We chose the 'Silver Prix-Fize Menu' @ $42/person, which is a 3 course meal service. I had their 'Ropa Vieja', which is shredded beef flank simmered in bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes served with rice & beans, accompanied by a 'Strawberry Mojito'. For dessert, I had their 'Flan Cubano'. Everything tasted very good with fresh ingredients. Service was amazing. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, starting with the hostess. Shout out to our server, Eddie, who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. He made our dinner experience an excellent one as he engaged with our family. He definitely made my mother-in-law's birthday special. Overall, it's always a great time at Coco Palm's with its beautiful views of the city.

This was such a great experience. My friend and I came to have an impromptu friendsgiving and let me just say, this may very well be a yearly tradition.We started off with a couple Manhattan cocktails, and the papa rellenos. The drinks were beautifully made and the papa rellenos were delicious. They were stuffed with beef and pork, and garlic sauce they have drizzled over the top notch.For our main we ordered the 3lb ribeye to share. It included mashed potatoes topped with creamy mushrooms, sauteed veggies, plantains, chimmi churri and a blue cheese horseradish sauce for the steak we also added a side of saffron rice. **DROOL**The price for this was about $125 bux(not including the rice)! This could have easily fed three people, and turned out to be such a great deal. Our server Gineva (spelling) was so sweet and attentive. She was absolutely fantastic. Our dinner was accompanied by a view of Pomona valley, at night the city is lit up and it sets the mood for the whole restaurant.My only single complaint, and more of an annoyance really was when we we seated, there was an overwhelming smell of fish which wasn't at all appetizing, but thankfully as the night went on it dissipated and before we started out dinner, it dissipated.Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be back to enjoy this epic steak once again.Thank you for having us!

We had another great date night here last weekend! I will never stop ordering the salmon and guava margs! I get the same meal and drinks every time now. Don't forget to ask for a side of chimichurri to top the salmon with, you won't regret it!!

1 star for location and view.1 star for the ambience. Came here for a special event with about 120-150 attendees. We were one of the 1st ones to get to our table but the last ones to get served our dinner. They pride themselves with their steak but didn't even ask us how we want our steak and left us with no option with our dish. Our steak was served at room temperature and super hard! We checked Table after table steaks were terrible and there was a lot of steak that just went to waste. We talked to our waiter when we complained about it but he didn't take any action and said all the steaks are cooked the same. We talked to another waiter but same thing. Very disappointing to think that they got paid for this special event but didn't deliver to what they advertise.
