Came during dinela and ordered the salad with cheese bread and cabbage, the petite filet mignon and key lime pie. Candice was our server and she was fantastic! She was engaging and funny, made sure everyone got what they ordered. We were a party of 11 and she did a great job.The salad was ok, the cheese bread was the true star! The potato was gigantic and my steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I thought the key lime pie was also just ok imo.Def worth a visit if not for the food then for the fact that this location has been there for over 40 years! They kept the integrity of the charming and cozy ambiance even with their most recent remodel - you almost forget you're in pico Rivera!

My friends and I came for the 35 dollar DineLA menu and we were impressed by the quality and quantity of food and service for the price. The atmosphere was dim with a romantic ambiance. A perfect place for a date. For the first course we got the salad and cheese bread and for the entree we got the petite filet with a huge baked potato and for dessert we got the key lime pie which we had to take to go since we were so stuffed. We came on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was a bit slow but that was because there were only 1-2 servers for the whole restaurant. Aside from that our server was super attentive and accommodating even though she was swamped with other tables. Everything was served table side. The salad was super fresh and I loved the blue cheese dressing as well as the house made ranch. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and tender. The baked potato was huge and went well with all the sour cream, cheese, and chives. We were so full that we had to take dessert home. I had the key lime pie at home and it was super light and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness.I would 100% come back again!

Say Yes to Steak N Stein! The customer service has leveled up! There were three of us who went four some drinks and ended up eating some food. We sat at their beautifully renovated bar. We were waiting a bit because it was a busy night. Matt greeted us and helped us. He wasn't just handling the bar and serving drinks. He was helping as many customers as he could. He even stopped to pick up my jacket that had fallen. There is also a new Manager. We didn't catch her name but she sets the tone and it's on the floor working just as hard with her employees with a smile on her face. I had a traditional lemon drop martini. It was made just right and hot the spot after a long day. We also had a prime rib dinner. It was worth the price! The meat was cooked to perfection. Full of flavor and so juicy! Worthy of five stars!!Their salad comes with your choice of the dressings. French, Bleu Cheese, and their signature ranch dressing. They bring them out so you can put as much or as little as you want. I like to combine a little French dressing with the Bleu cheese. The garlic cheese bread was served nice and hot. Always so good! It's buttery and soft. Their baked potatoes are huge! Also full of flavor. They will add as much butter as you want and won't judge you for it! You can also add melted cheese, sour cream and chives. Thank you Steak N Stein for a lovely evening!!

I came here for my very first time with friends who have been here before. Good ambiance, just a little too loud. At times I couldn't hear my friends from across the short dinner table and it was kind of frustrating. Good service and not overly attentive. I appreciated that you do not feel rushed even though they were busy. Toasted cheese bread: 1/5, not impressed. Salad: They give you ranch, bleu cheese and their house vinegarette options for dressing. I enjoyed the salad. It helps balance out the overall meal. 3.5/5Pickled purple cabbage: I really enjoyed this! It also helps balance out all the heaviness and acts as a palette cleaner imo. 5/5Onion rings: They do not look appetizing but oddly enough they were the best onion rings I've ever had. Very light batter coating and I loved that it wasn't greasy and you still have the bite of the onion. 4.5/5Steak: Flavorful. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it came out medium but it was still tasty. 4.5/5Baked potato: Overall good, huge in size but still felt like something was missing. 3.5/5Would I return? Yes!

I've been coming here since 1976. My family and I have enjoyed our birthdays here every year. I remember I used to always want to work at Clearmans because of the servers outfits and because everyone was so friendly. Well times have changed, but the one thing that hasn't changed is the friendliness and the amazing food and cocktails. They remodeled it and expanded it a couple years ago, it looks great! Great spot for a girls night, birthday, special occasion. My go to is the salad, you can never go wrong with their salads and bread. Everything is delicious!!!

The interior reminds me of the Regal Beagle from Three's Company. This place is a literal time capsule. Very cool, medieval, rustic vibes. The cocktail lounge had live music. There was a fountain in the middle of the main dining room that reminded me of the Tiki Room at Disneyland. Albert was our server and he was awesome. All staff were friendly. Service was good, but did feel slightly understaffed for a busy Friday night. The food was tasty and plentiful. Seriously, come hungry. You get unlimited cheese breads which is like a Texas toast, delicious! Every protein selection comes with salad, red cabbage (which you add to the salad), several dressings come to the table in this tripod serving dish. You also get baked potato with another tripod of butter, cheese sauce, green onions, sour cream and onion rings. It was so much food! I could've easily shared a plate with the hubby and still brought home leftovers! My boneless prime rib was more on the fatty side, but huge, so there was plenty to eat. It was served with au jus, horseradish and creamed spinach with bacon. They were unable to make an aeperol spritz, which was a bummer.Overall, meal and pricing were great. I'd come back again!

This place is such a vibe! Very much like other Clearman's I've been to but this place has a little more of a classier feel. Dimly lit, very cozy and fun decor. Even includes a fountain right in the middle of the restaurant. We came for their Sunday bottomless mimosa brunch. What a deal! $40 a person, 3 course pre fixed menu, with bottomless mimosa, champagne, wine and fruit juice. Let me tell you, when they say bottomless, they really mean it! Our waiter, Albert was amazing! He was courteous and attentive and never let us get thirsty The food here was exactly what I'd expect from clearman's. Good steak, cooked and seasoned well. Very tasty! As always Their cheese bread is to die for! We had to place another order to go lolThe portions are a good size and all in all, a great way to spend a Sunday brunch! This hidden gem is totally worth it!

My favorite place for a nice and affordable steak dinner! Please make sure to make reservations because it does get pretty packed over the weekends. The ambiance is a dark setting but romantic vibes to it. The bacon wrapped scallops are amazing! The service is remarkable. They really make your experience one of a kind even if it is packed. My favorites are the filet mignon and Rib Eye. The onion rings are also delicious! Each plate comes with cheese bread, Cesar salad, and pickled red cabbage. I also ordered a raspberry lemon drop and it was very flavorful. Will be coming back again! Nice place to come with friends, alone, or on a date!!
