City Bagel

Came early on a Sunday morning right at opening. My son was playing a baseball game nearby and I didn't want to go to Starbucks for breakfast so I elected to support a small business instead.Both husband and wife was present in store. After reading the newspaper clippings on the walls about their story I made small chat with them and they were as sweet as ever could be. Lots of smiles and humility about their success.I got the smoked salmon on sesame bagel. Bagel was crisp on the outside yet chewy on the inside. Just how I remembered them in NYC. Good amount of cream cheese, but the smoked salmon was from Costco - I am almost 100% sure because I get it regularly there. Thinly sliced red onion capers, and juicy tomatoes made this a best bagel I have had in a long while.Have been back because this was just a circumstantial visit, but if I was a local I would gladly support them regularly.

Tried two bagels and a black iced coffee this morning. The establishment was decent and I'd probably go back. Tbh the bagels were nothing spectacular but decent. I ordered the turkey, cheese, and egg on jalapeño cheddar bagel. I also ordered an egg, cheese, salsa, and cream cheese on a jalapeño bagel. Good but not great.Plus: The staff were nice and the establishment itself was cute and seemed to be clean.

Cute place, friendly staff! Good bagels and cream cheese but very expensive for what you get.7.50 for a bacon egg and cheese on any bagel (egg is not fresh cracked, bacon bits instead of big bacon piece) 7.50 for a bagel stick which is basically half a bagel and I asked for cream cheese... I paid 7.50$ for basically half the amount of bagel if I had just ordered a default bagel with cream cheese it would've been cheaper and more food. Do not get a bagel stick We paid 15$ total for a meal that typically is under 10$, and a lot better. I think the prices are high since there is not many bagel shops around. Our fav place is Main Street Bagels in San Jose.Still try this place! 2.50 per bagel OR21.50 for DOZEN2.99-5$ for cream cheese

I only read to the phrase "pizza bagel" on the menu. I do not remember much else. The pizza and bagel were properly united unlike most people in this country, and the bagel was priced very reasonably, if not cheaply. I took everything from this bagel: the cheese, the sauce, the bread, and the pepperoni. I gave it my all in return though.The staff served this particular bagel very quickly and skillfully. Almost as if they execute this straightforward activity all day for money. Everyone on staff seemed very confident in their bagel preparing and serving ability. Conviction must be key in the bagel game. No doubts were expressed about the real difficulties that lie in cooking up a pizza bagel.The ambience is legitimately serene & mellow. One can actually stop & smell the pizza bagels here without fear of iphone jibber jabber, mewling infants, barking dogs, or cheesy muzak. Someone at City Bagel values peace & quiet. There is nothing wrong with bagels & achieving total consciousness, so please leave daft dogs & ill mannered progeny at home or in the car, if you please.

Tried their bagels today and it did not disappoint. I ordered something simple as a plain bagel with Cream cheese. The establishment is clean and decent. I love the ascetic of the establishment for its simplicity and being organized. The family who owns the place are very kind and friendly. They are quick and got my food under 5 minutes. I would defiantly come back here again.

Come support your local business owners. The couple who run this establishment are friendly and offer great prices for tasty food and drinks. I recommend the monkey shake!

Fantastic bagel place!Authentic boiled then baked New York style bagels. Nice chewy skin with dense insides!! Completely different (and superior) culinary experience compared to a Bruggers or Einstein. Service with a smile. Looks like it's been here quite a while. The neighborhood is lucky to have them here!Best bagels after you mountain bike the Fullerton Loop!

First time here and it was a great experience! The owner was so friendly and patient. We got a pizza bagel & a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese & bacon. The quality of the bagel was toasty on the outside and airy soft on the inside. I don't mind driving far for bagels like these!

Amazing service and food. Owners are lovely. I really love their breakfast bagel. I go here at least a few times a week for breakfast. They are fat. The prices are right and the food is great. I highly recommend this establishment. Check it out.
