Christy's Donuts and Sandwiches

I am always on the lookout for donut shops. So when I spotted Christy's Donuts in Fullerton, I just had to drop in.The strip mall they are located in has definitely seen better days. That is no fault of the shop though. Inside the shop, it appeared clean and pleasant. Customer service was good as well.I purchased my favorite kind of donut. Whenever I see that a shop has a Custard Filled Chocolate donut, then that is what I will try. Their version was good. Did not stand out over other shops, but it tasted fresh. No Lotto or Scratcher tickets sold here unlike many other mom and pop donut shops. Would not deter me from coming in whenever I am in the neighborhood, though.

the donut holes i got were bad they didn't taste good and all the donuts there looked bad too. the decaffeinated coffee made me feel a little bit sick.

I know 10am is a little late to grab some donuts. But I just left there. Come home and the donuts are stale! That means these now stale donuts were from yesterday. Disappointed.

If you're in for some simple donuts around this part of the neighborhood, Christy's Donuts is an option. In the morning I would have coworkers offer donuts from here. Overall, they taste okay, nothing too crazy, they're plain simple and sweet. In those early part of the day they do offer them fresh and warm, with no complaints. If you would like a better variety it's best to come in the morning, because in the afternoon there can be a chance that the selection of donuts can be limited due to the fact they close around 5 p.m. Outside of the fried sweet treats, Christy's offer really good creamy smoothies and that's what I come here for the most part. I would normally order their "Strawberry Banana Smoothie". Around $4-$5 for a large size, I would get them extra blended without having chunks of ice, and they make them from scratch using fresh fruits. My other go-to drink here would be their "Thai-Iced Tea" it taste decent and you can tell of its creamy appearance outside the cup. On my visits, there was a few times the staff can be a bit rushy, but service has been okay and they never fail when making my refreshing smoothies.They do have breakfast sandwiches on the menu and maybe I'll give that a shot to start off my day for next time.

If you come here make sure you quadruple check that they got you order. This morning it was a while 20 min ordeal for whatever reason. There was no people when we came and in and it was still unclear. However they did charge us only to later say they forget to charge something else. When I finally got to eat my sandwich what did I see? Old dried veggies and mustard! It would've been nice to know that it came with especially if they confirmed if I wanted mayo, salt and pepper. Why leave out mustard??? Now 1/3 of the veggies are not edible.

Best donuts in the Heights. Breakfast croissants are good too. Phenomenal service with a smile.

All food and donuts look stale. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese bagel and instead I got what looks like ham/turkey. I complained and the lady insisted that it was " sausage " . I wouldn't recommend this place, should've listened to all the horrible reviews .

I ended up here as a last resort after seeing the line at Nick's Bagels. We were running late, and I really did not want fast food for breakfast, but truth be told, we would've been better off at Carl's Jr. down the road.I was set on having a bagel, so we ordered 2, one with ham, egg and cheese with a tomato and another one with avocado, cream cheese, and lox but without the cappers. The lady behind the counter had a hard time understanding our order even though we ordered a #4 and a #12 to make it simple. Language barrier, immigrant parents, I empathize with that. That wasn't the issue. Another lady rang us up with 1 donut and a small juice. I specifically told her the bagels we got since she didn't take the order: #4 and #12. Didn't think too much of the total when she told me. Fast forward to when we get to the car, and I had a completely different order. I understand shit happens, but I knew the lox bagel I got cost almost twice as much as some other bagels, so I went back in to complain. After flagging her down, she offered to take the bagel back and add the lox, yelling to the lady in the back that she had forgotten it. By this time, we were already super late because the Bagels took forever, so I told her I'll take it as is and just wanted the difference in money back. Tell me why this lady couldn't remember she rang me up 7 mins ago. She goes back to shout at the other lady, asking her what she charged me. After yelling back to her to tell her SHE was the one at the register, she tries to tell me that I told her I ordered a #4 and a #7. And then 1 second later, she changed it to a #4 and a #11. After looking at the register receipt, she has the audacity to tell me I actually owe her money for the bagel I got and asked for 50 cents, not once apologizing for getting the order wrong or all the commotion she created. Her tone was extremely rude and off putting. She only cared about what was in the register. Also, there was a fat fly hanging out in the donuts and I knew for a fact she saw it when she grabbed someone else's donut and didn't do a damn thing about it. Needless to say, 100% do not recommend. Avoid at all costs.
