Chomp Rockin' Sushi

The ambiance was pleasant, and the restaurant was spacious. I particularly liked the seating areas with curtains, which provided privacy for groups. The food was overall enjoyable. We ordered takoyaki, spicy seafood udon, beef teriyaki hot stone, truffle salmon, and the hot night roll. My personal favorite was the hot night roll, as it had a slight spicy kick complemented by crunchy tempura flakes.Since I'm not a big fan of seafood, I left much of it in the udon. However, for those who enjoy seafood, the spicy seafood udon would likely be a great choice. I still appreciated the flavorful broth. The beef teriyaki hot stone was also good--the rice had a slightly sweet taste that I personally enjoyed, though the meat was a bit too chewy. I'd like to try the teppan hot stone next time. The takoyaki was decent but nothing extraordinary, just a standard preparation. The truffle salmon was my least favorite; while it had a nice truffle aroma, I would opt for a different roll next time.Overall, I enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. However, I did notice that the restaurant seemed slightly understaffed. While the servers were polite, they were very busy, and we had to ask for wasabi three times before it was finally brought to our table--by which point we were nearly finished with our meal. Despite this, the food was good, and I would visit again.

Their sushi is soooooooo good. Every time. Tastes so fresh and I don't feel so guilty after eating it like I do when I eat a big burger!We always sit at the sushi bar and it's usually empty around 5:30pm on a weekday. They have plenty of seating throughout, tables and booths. They currently have a bogo 50% for sushi so definitely come in and partake on that deal.Service is great, they can get busy and looks like they may have minimal staff so be patient. They're all friendly and attentive as can be. Parking can get pretty crowded. There is a lot as well as 2-hour street parking.

Had a yummy late lunch here a few days ago. Service was awesome. Jimmy took good care of us. The sushi was fresh, good and creamy. Beers nice and cold.

First time here and the food and drinks were good , especially the rockin shrimp! So good we ordered two. The reason for 4 stars is because the service is pretty slow.

Came here for 'this and yap' with a friend ... oddly I was not disappointed here. There was less than a 15-minute wait on a Friday evening and our server was pretty attentive throughout our meal. Delicious sushi! I ordered a 3 item bento box at Dinnertime and got the Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Avocado Roll and the Vegetable Tempura. I also ordered an Ex girlfriend Roll and a Cajun Tuna Roll and a Snow Cone Roll . Their sushi was really fresh and what I really like about this place is that there are a lot of unique rolls or different rolls that I haven't seen at other sushi places. The servers were also really nice here! We came on a Friday around 8pm and they were slammed. So not the quickest bite to eat but it was worth the wait.

It's crowded, but never get's too crowded. The people are nice and friendly. The ambiance is very dark and clubby, but not sketchy so it feels very comfy. The food is good. Great variety. You have the classics and then something a little more normal or basic for people who don't like sushi.

This place has a great location Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor, but not a ton. The menu shines here, both food and drink. Never had a back meal or item. waitstaff is friendly and service is pretty fast.We mostly dine-in here, but have gotten take out a few times. The takeout should be the same, but it is just not. Sort of feels like the second string kitchen does their take out.The food was good, but not "AMAZING". For the price of dining in, I want a little more dazzle. The restroom was clean. This is a date night sort of a place.Parking is painful, even on a weeknight. expect at least a 1/2 block walk.

It was amazingly delicious and everything was perfect! The size portion was large and enough to get you full and satisfied. My boyfriend enjoyed the rolls and I really liked the bulgogi hot plate. We had Jimmy as our waiter and he was nice and he always checked on us to make sure we were good and made great recommendations for appetizers. It is the the holidays season, so they had it cozy with holiday music and a beautiful tree. I will definitely be back out here to restaurant. Thanks for a great experience.
