China Moon isn't just a restaurant--it's a testament to how Chinese cuisine should be done. In a sea of forgettable takeout spots drowning in cloying sauces and cheap shortcuts, this place stands apart. You don't stay in business for decades by accident. The wait times tell you everything. People aren't standing around for average. They know what's coming: deep, layered flavors straight from a searing wok, dishes crafted with care, and servers who don't just deliver plates but actually know the menu inside and out.The space itself? A step above the usual. No tacky gimmicks, no fluorescent-lit indifference--just a restaurant that respects both its food and its guests. And that food? It doesn't beg for attention. It doesn't need to. It's bold where it should be, subtle where it matters, and executed with the confidence of a kitchen that's been at this for years.Lesser places come and go. China Moon? It's still standing, still packed, still serving dishes that remind you why great Chinese food is one of the world's true culinary joys.

We wanted a more quieter evening tonight so we decided to visit China Moon. Not a whole lot of people in the restaurant when we got there.Service was good and food was brought out quickly. Fortunately we got there a bit early because the dining room was full in less than an hour later.I had my usual, three ingredients taste, sautéed shrimp, beef, and chicken with mixed veggies. This dish is always good. The shrimp was a bit fishy but not too bad.Hubby had the cashew nuts chicken. The flavor was good but it would have been better if it was made with white meat. We do not like dark meat chicken. We checked with our waitress Lucy later and she confirmed that it is dark meat. Lucy suggested that we can request for white meat next time and the kitchen can do it.Lucy has been there a very long time. We have had her a few times before and according to her name tag, she's been there since 2009! Speaking of being loyal.Overall, we had a good meal. Thanks Lucy and all other staff in the dining room, especially the food runner. He was super fast in bringing us what we needed: our food and the chili sauce! They are all very nice and efficient.

I was impressed by how management handled the situation with my order. I got the kung pao chicken, veggie fried rice, veggie low mein, and orange chicken. Everything was excellent except the orange chicken as it was very hard to chew. I called and requested to speak to the manager, he called me back promptly, apologized for the inconvenience and refunded me for the orange chicken. The customer service alone was outstanding and I'm happy with the way my issue was resolved, I'll definitely be back to try more.

We ordered the Crab Wonton, Chicken "Fried" Rice, and Beef Lo Mein. Does this look and taste like Chicken "Fried" Rice? I'll let you be the judge. It didn't taste like it at all. It was very bland. Very disappointing. The customer service was great and the Beef Lo Mein was good...wontons were decent. But we probably won't order here again unfortunately.

WELL, New Years, we did have to wait for over 2 hours to get pick up, but their food is always worth the wait!!! I love that they know my name when I call because I'm in their system. Everyone on the phone and when we picked up the food was so nice even though I know they were so busy. We ordered the BBQ pork lo mein, rainbow shrimp, and sesame chicken. Food was so good and fresh. You don't have a terrible salty feeling after eating here!

Best orange chicken, hands down. China Moon is a bit of a strange Chinese restaurant, because it somehow has great food and great service simultaneously. The waitress was the nicest person ever! First, that orange chicken really blew me away. Panda Express orange chicken, by comparison, has great flavor, but has consistency issues. Other places make the sauce too sour. China Moon is made to order, so it's perfectly crunchy and the flavor is amazing. The flavor is not too strong and the candied orange flavor brings so much depth to the dish. It's kind of silly to treat orange chicken as some kind of gourmet food, but it really is great here. I'd come back just for this. Also, it comes with a bowl of rice. Mu Shu was a hit. It's a cabbage, egg, and pork in a tortilla-style wrap. It comes with sweet hoisin sauce and it was very savory, I loved it. It's pretty hard to find a mu shu place and it was great here! Lastly, the shrimp lo mein. The shrimp here has a bit of that snap that I go crazy for and it was a good companion to the other dishes we ordered. It had good flavor, but it felt very carby. I would feel a bit strange eating it by itself, but it was good with other stuff. By comparison, I wouldn't feel the same way about pad thai or other noodle dishes from other cultures. Still good though. I can't stop thinking about the orange chicken. And as you can see, the portions sizes were pretty good. I spent around $13-$17/dish. If you love orange chicken, seriously, give this place a shot. You won't regret it. It's probably the best orange chicken I'll ever have. The other stuff is good too.

Really fanatic good that is worth driving to get. The egg rolls in particular are super memorable, but the sweet and sour chicken is also great. The service can be hit or miss, but the food more than makes up for it.
