Quality tasting food and nice service. Some might say an unusual combo for a place like this, but expect it! Stopped by here after we decide not to grab hotpot in the same plaza. We had the mapo tofu, eggplant with 1000 year old egg, pork belly with buns, shrimp fried rice, and sour cabbage soup with white fish. I was surprised of the flavor and would order everything again. My favorite had to be the soup and mapo, don't miss out on those. We tried to claim our check in offer, but was denied of it, little disappointed but the food was still good.

We came in for a Saturday dinner and the experience was surprisingly good. This is a Sichuan / Hunan restaurant and the dishes are pretty authentic. Place isn't big so it gets crowded at peak hours on weekends. The corner booth for us was comfy and spacious enough. We decided on live fish with chilies, spicy clams, spicy chicken and shrimp fried rice. Everything was so delicious in big portions. The fish was fantastic. I appreciated that there was no Sichuan numbing peppers in the spicy dishes! I can't stand numbing flavor not even a little bit. The glutinous rice cakes are always my favorite as dessert. The service was great and they packed the leftover for us too. We were very impressed by the food and service at this local Sichuan restaurant! We will definitely come back from time to time!

Got some craving for spicy Szechuan food so went to try this place. We ordered the fish fillet and intestine in hot chili sauce. That was good. Right amount of spiciness and broth. A little bit more meat in the pot, that would have been great. A small bowl of rice is $2. A bit steep. Service was great. The restaurant is facing the Peral plaza and nice to dine and people watch.

I love spicy food and everything on the menu sounded so good. Ordered takeout and food was packed neatly and ready for pickup in 20 min. Loved the dry pot tofu dish we ordered, not spicy but good. Gizzard was very flavorful. Intestines were a bit soggy but Pbb because we took it to go. Might taste better in the restaurant. Will be back to try more dishes.

My boyfriend and I ate here for dinner one evening. We ordered the sichuan style intestines, live cooked fish and eggplant. The service was great. The waitress knew I didn't speak Chinese so she would speak to my boyfriend in Chinese and speak and explain the dishes to me in English. The restaurant is not that large so I would say if you go with a group, a party of 6, you could sit comfortably but I'm sure they could accommodate up to a party of 10.

Really good Szechuan food. Lots of locals eat here.I visited on a Sunday night, and service was really slow. There were two ladies that I could see taking care of their dining room. Eventually there were parties waiting to be seated. We waited a long time for them to take our order, and our food took even longer to be served. We had to ask twice for ice water because they forgot the first time. The food was so spicy!Beef with cumin - I usually get lamb with cumin, so the flavor in this dish wasn't as strong as I am used to. (Lamb with cumin is usually smelly). They put a lot of white onions. Water boiled fish - This was found in a small Szechuan section of the menu. It had both cabbage and bean sprouts. I think they could have had more fish. It's served in a large bowl, as usual, but I feel like they didn't give us a lot of fish. I asked for normal spice level, and it was pretty spicy! Hunan style pork - very similar to twice cooked pork. Lots of flavor. I liked the chili peppers.I think rice and hot tea might have been free. I didn't check the receipt. These three dishes came out to $68 something - with tax, no tip. The bathroom smells like SULFUR / rotten eggs!! It was so gross. The restaurant entrance can be accessed inside the plaza. You park somewhere outside the plaza (there's also a structure). Chili House is across from the yogurt drink place.
