Came in tonight and had the carnitas big bowl (didn't snap a photo bc it was too good I dug in). A few of us got mock-tails and they didn't disappoint! thanks so much Justin. The service was great 5 STARS TO JUSTIN HIS THE BEST!

I have lived in the area for about 15 years. And knew of this place but never went. One night my girlfriend's friends invited us here. Didn't love it but gave it 2 more chances. And let me just say. I would have rather dined at Taco Bell Cantina. It is not worth the price. However if you're just looking for a beer and some chips. It's not bad.

Stopped by after a nice beach walk in Crystal Cove. Our server was nice and attentive & gave us her list of brewed beers. I ordered a michelada with their Primero beer - it was great! I enjoyed the tamarind stick at the end for dessert.As an appetizer, we ordered the street corn m: It was delicious & shareable between 2. They served us chips & salsa right away as we placed our order. I ordered the fat taco plate with carne asada as my protein; It came with rice & black beans. Between the chips & salsa, street corn & michi, I was full after one taco! I loved their salsa variations. They have a spicy habanero salsa which was spicy but so delicious! Definitely coming back. I liked how they have a big patio section with heaters & TVs.

We stopped in here for lunch while on a bike ride. This is our second time. I forgot to take pictures of my food because I was so hungry. Tried the surf burrito. So good! I've had beer in the past which is great! But not this time! They give you chips and the salsa is so good! What a great perk! I'm going to say even though you not coming here twice they have great customer service! The lady who helped me today is friendly and always smiling. The young man who I saw cleaning tables was smiling and kind. Please keep it up, I want to bring more friends here!

Tried this place in Balboa for dinner. Had a store a Kara taco combo. I really like the Carne Asada one, but the alpastor was not so good. Lacking flavor meat is too chunky and fatty. We also had the shrimp fajitas. My husband really liked them.No, I do have to say their margaritas were really top-notch really tasty perfect salt ratio. I will go again there for just the margaritas!!! Chips and salsa are good as well. We sat at the bar area service was great fast and friendly

Good vibes with plenty of TVs for your sports viewing pleasure.They accommodated our large party and are extremely dog friendly - we had 4 dogs with us! For food/drinks, I ordered:- Fat taco plate ($17): You get a choice of two tacos accompanied with rice and beans - al pastor, carnitas, carne asada, pollo asado, shredded beef, veggie, mahi mahi, and shrimp. I tried the mahi mahi, shrimp, al pastor, and carne asada. My favorite was the shrimp. However, the carne asada was a little dry and tough. The green sauce that came with the tacos was surprisingly spicy. Kinda pricey for what it is, but is expected in the area. - Authentic street corn ($9): Corn was seasoned well and made a great side dish- Paloma ($13): Grapefruit, lime juice, agave, and tequila.- Churros ($6): Freshly fried and dipped in cinnamon sugar. Comes with a chocolate dipping sauce. There is a salsa bar for all your sauce needs. Get the avocado salsa - mild, creamy, citrusy, with a hint of avocado. Nice list of tequilas and mezcals.

Amazing vibes and service! The servers are usually friendly and it's a great place to watch sports on their TVs. You get free chips and salsa along with your food. And their salsa bar is fire! My friend and I got their elotes and chicken taco and they taste amazing! I also love that they have trivia nights on Monday where you can win cool rewards! I love coming here after a beach day :)

We checked this placed out because my fur child is half chihuahua mixed. We celebrated her 11th bday here and they didn't mind her at all. Food and price were decent. Come check it out.

Checked out Chihuahua Cerveza tonight to watch UFC 312! Great place to have food, watch sporting events and plenty amount of screens! Service is great, very attentive.

Food was good. Had two mahi tacos and one steak taco. I'd definitely eat here again. Chips and salsa are plentiful and crunchy. Service was very pleasant and prompt. Young gal that took our order was actually working on her birthday. Ambiance is typical of a restaurant. Heated patio was a bonus for sure. Tables were level and not wobbly Watching one of the cooks eat his Panda Express at the grill was irritating and should've been moved away from the food prep area for sure. Don't need your leftovers in my dinner or anyone else's.
