Cheesecake / $12
Cheese cake; no powdered sugar, looked unappealing. Tastes great but not great enough for an entire cheesecake.

One of the best cheesecake I have eaten. The cheesecake is fluffy, soft, not too sweet. Absolutely delicious. I've brought this to a party and it was a hit!

I've seen this shop a few times I've been to this plaza and today I've decided to try it. I was expecting something more like Uncle Testsu and was surprised to see that they only have 3 stars. I decided to bite the bullet and try it out. After reading few reviews, I opted for the creamtella and thank god I did. The Castella itself is soft and fluffy since it is a sponge cake but I can imagine by itself would be not enough flavor and maybe a bit dry. The creamtella alleviates this by shoving a cream between a horizontally cut castella. The cream makes it better but overall, the meal is too heavy for me with not enough flavor. If the cream was milkier, it would've been a different story. Also the sizing is huge! It's practically a cake made for 4-6 people which makes sense since it costs $13. I would've preferred a smaller portion size for cheaper but there were no other option.Needless to say, I would save my calories for something else next time.

Mostly-dry sponge cake; if you order a plain flavor, pair it with whipped cream at home or purchase their cream on the side for a few dollars. I usually get the creamtella (vanilla sponge with cream inside) but they tend to run out of that pretty quickly so this time I got their chocolate cake. Aside from some areas with chocolate chips that were decent, most of the cake was fairly dry. I liked the chocolate flavor, but had to use whipped cream to make it more enjoyable. The size was decent and fed 2 people over the course of a few days as dessert. From now on, I will just stick to ordering the creamtella, or making sure that I have whipped cream at home. I wish they offered a creamtella version for other flavors, given how dry the sponge alone is.

My friend hyped up this place so we stopped by. It's a small place, grab and go, not really any seating but it's in the Source so it's easy enough to find seating nearby. It was a little pricey, but it's a relatively large loaf so it's understandable. However, it was pretty dry and lacked in flavor. It tasted like it was maybe sitting out for a while. My friend and I were pretty disappointed, she said it was better before. Probably won't come back.

Nice to have a place like this in the area. The cake had a good flavor with a big enough portion to share with others. It's a bit more dense and not as fluffy/light than we were hoping. The employee was friendly and the cakes were baked and ready, so they fulfilled the order quickly.

Got to try this place out and it was ok. We did come later in the day so the selection was missing a few items that I wanted to try but overall it was a good dessert snack. Maybe I'll try to come back earlier in day to try some other flavors.

I've eyed this spot for awhile now and finally made it to The Source to try it out. It's a small corner window where you order and pick up right away. I was intrigued by the Castella Cakes, so got one original ($11). The cake itself isn't really big, approximately 8x5inches. It's good for about 2-3 people as a snack. Once I bit into it, I realized how plain the cake was. It's basically a sponge cake --that's it. It was so dry and plain that we immediately went back to get a cup of cream on the side for $2. The cream really helped and it even had a milk flavor to it. Overall, it's pricey for a simple sponge cake. The more popular item is their cheesecake, so that's probably the better choice here. It seems like the same as Uncle Tetsu's, so I didn't bother to try that.

Thought this would be like uncle testu and wow they have with cheddar cheese....NOPE so dry more like a sponge cake and it's not cheddar cheese but American cheese that's yucky....in the trash it's going! If you order that verify that it's cheddar and open it up before leaving as for me I will pass

It's extremely mediocre and dry. Nothing special at all that kids wont even eat it after one try. It's edible, but you would want to save your calories for something else. I would want to see the nutrition facts to see if it will at least be good option for diabetics. Then it will be worth it.
