Chava’s Street Tacos

Went out on a late night excursion with my friends and was craving tacos, so we found Chava's Taco Truck and oh my goodness, it totally hit the spot. I've never said this about any taco place because I never really paid attention to it, but their tortillas were insane. Like, tortillas were always the same to me and never stood out in a taco but this place had such fresh, crispy tortillas that just made my carne asada x100 better. Ngl I still think about their tortillas bc they really set the bar, but no other place has ever done the same. Nice service and the location was near a spacious parking lot from when we last went - there's no tables but not too difficult to eat anywhere else.

My family and I came across Chava's street tacos and they did not disappoint!! I opted out for there al pastor tacos and they truly were amazing. With every bite I took they got better and better. Since it was our first time i didn't know how spicy the red salsa was lol let me tell y'all I love spicy stuff but..... man this one in particular was super hot aha still good however. If you guys don't love spicy salsas I would definitely recommend the green one! I sadly didn't take pictures of the other items but we ended up getting quesadillas and mulitas. The mulitas were also a favorite of ours! Strongly recommend getting 2 or 3 suadero would go perfect with them! All in all the service was great and they were very attentive to all of our questions and concerns! Very helpful and informative especially when it came down to suggestions! We did get there around 7-730 in the evening and it was pretty packed already would recommend going as soon as they open! Can be a tad bit noisy as well as it is parked at a park!

We found this spot on Yelp and decided to give them a try. We were in the area for the weekend. It was around 7pm Sunday when we stopped by on the corner of Lampson and Haster in Garden Grove. It is a small food truck. There was a few people waiting for their food and also a couple people in line to order. The lady taking the order was friendly and provided great customer service. We ordered several tacos, chicken, asada, sudero y al pastor. Also a sudero burrito, that my son really liked. My hubby also liked his sudero tacos. Personally I did not like my tacos, the meat seasoning/flavor I didn't like, the tortillas are very small and they don't put enough meat in the tacos. They did seem busy and they forgot 6 of our tacos in the order. Which luckily we noticed before leaving the parking lot. When we went back to let them know, the men cooking seemed to not believe us. But the lady taking the order was telling them they had forgot the last 6 tacos on the order. The lady taking the order was friendly and made the ordering enjoyable but I probably would not go back.

A decent price and authentic tacos. Although this truck is pretty salty to me - they are located right by a churro truck with plenty of parking. There's not usually that long of a line and they take apple pay, the tacos are relatively cheap but the flavor profile is a lot saltier than other trucks Overall i'd still recommend the portion and char is still on point.

Tacos are small but the meat was packed and full of flavor. Only $2 each. Well worth it! The red hot sauce is There was a bit of a line but went fairly fast. Will definitely come back soon!

We didn't realize the pickled onions were not included in the to go order by default Other notes: be careful with the parking lot; it's one way but a lot of people were driving out of the entrance. The exit is spiked so be careful when you enter the parking lot! Tripa: 4/5 Asada: 5/5 Cabeza: 5/5 Pastor: 3.5/5 a little fatty but also dry Suadero: 4/5 Cecina: 4/5 Overall great food at a great price, highly recommend both the Asada and Cabeza!

The tacos were fire! The taco truck didn't have much to add to the taco since most toppings were gone and hadn't been filled. The parking is hard to find. Wait time is fast.

amazing taco truck! not 5 stars because there are no prices on the menu but tacos are $2 and burritos are $10. add the onion and carrot sides onto your tacos. but beware the sauces are spicy.. if you don't have spice tolerance i would only add small amounts. overall good tacos deals

Be prepared to wait a while for your food. They have very busy all the time and have long lines. They aren't very fast at preparing your food and usually only have one person making all the food and one person at the register. The tacos are good but very small. You could sometimes barely even hear the person at the register due to their loud music playing from the taco truck. Good food but long wait times.
