Chan Kee food reminded me as if I was dining in Hong Kong. The preserved duck egg and shredded pork congee was delicious. The rice roll with chinese donut was bomb with the sesame and hoisin sauce. The egg noodle soup with wontons and beef was so good. This place was self services and you order via a kiosk. You pick up your food at the counter. The drinks were amazing too. I got the HK Lemon tea.Parking: it's a free parking lot and ample spaces The ambiance is like your typical hk cafe and plus side is restroom is super clean.

Review (2 Stars):We really wanted to like this place, but the wait for our food was just way too long especially with two hungry kids getting restless. The restaurant was already busy when we arrived, but we didn't expect to be sitting there for so long before our food even showed up. By the time it came, the experience was already frustrating. If you're coming here for lunch and see a lot of people already seated, just bail out and find somewhere else. The food might be good, but it's not worth the wait if you're hungry and on a schedule.

Found this place on Instagram and decided to go on a date here.Upon entering, the restaurant was pretty empty, maybe one couple Was there eating. To order, there are two kiosk tablets where you can place your order The menu was pretty categorized with your noodles, rice, dish, soup, combos, etc. I like how it is self serve. You can serve yourself water, as well as as there is a little condiment section where you can get crispy, onion, crispy, garlic, green onion, pickled ginger, etc. for your soups and sides.I ordered the beef noodle soup combo, which came with the Hong Kong milk, tea. My date order the beef noodle soup as well. We both enjoyed the noodle soup as it was very flavorful. My soup had a lot of noodles and just the right amount of beef, and my dates soup had a lot of beef Because he ordered just the soup alone. We also ordered the fried giant squid legs and soy sauce chow mein noodles for the table to share. These two dishes came out separately, and also took a while for the food to come out, which I understand because the food was made to order. We were not really impressed by the fried giant squid legs as most of it was batter and not enough squid. And the soy sauce chow mein noodles was delicious! Although we were already full from our beef noodle soup, we were able to have some of the soy sauce chow mein noodles. It was very flavorful, and although we didn't order it with any protein, the cook included shrimp and chicken chicken. The porridge soup was something both of us wanted to order, so we would definitely come back to try that. I would also recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

Great hong Kong food spot. Service is amazing and Staff is the best and super helpful. I miss ordered my drink and they were able to help me. Thank you so much! Please add a tip box! Self service-ish kind of spot. Order at the kiosk or at the table you're sitting at. Then, pick up your food at the counter or they'll bring you the food if you order at the table. Food is super affordable and good. Deep fried chicken - delicious, has the unique flavor of most hk wings, can be a little on the saltier side, might be too salty for someLA fried rice - delicious and huge portion, taste and looks exactly how my dad would make it

I was excited to try Chan Kee. I saw that bbq pork was served with rice and a fried egg. Well. How about they were out of bbq pork before 6pm ( sad face).Ended up ordering the 6 piece chicken wings served piping hot. The breading was light and not flaky like a traditional fried kitchen (KFC). It was tasty. Not served with any type of sauce so I squeezed up sriracha mayo. It worked. Also ordered the flat noodle with a side of shrimp tempura and seasoned corn. Noodles needed more flavor and veggies ( Chinese broccoli). 2 pieces of shrimp tempura was ok but 2 pieces for $5? Should have been $1 a piece IMO. Seasoned corn was average. Cheese melted on top and was a chunk of melted cheese not melted into a the corn. Lots of butter in the corn though.I think the congee might have been the menu item to get. Seems like that's what they're know for?Order by kiosk and I think staff can take your order if preferred. Order took awhile and no one else was there besides one gentleman who was done eating.Place is really self service- pick up your food, load up on your condiments yourself and go up for your to-go boxes, lastly, return your tray. The restaurant is clean and not loud at all with all the TVs going. Although, we were the only ones there!I may need to go back for congee. Love congee. It'll be a problemIf the congee doesn't live up to its reputation! The service was slow as food came out one after the other with a break in between.Parking lot that can get tricky to find a spot without having to park a little bit a ways. Will make it back for congee.

The beef noodle soup and congee were so flavorful. I cannot say the same for the fish siumai and fried chicken. We were confused with the taste of the fish Siumai. The chicken wings were crunchy but the added peanut sauce didn't complement with the taste. I will be back for the congee and beef noodle soup though. The place is clean but the bathroom needs attention with the cleaning. The service was ok. I love that tipping is not required as it is a cafeteria style dining experience. They do come is generous portions and it is a bit pricey.

Latest update as TODAY. They print New Menu so people can review them. TV menu is not updated yet. Kiosk have no picture yet. Basically, they break the combo menu into more options. Start with Plain, add protein, side, then drink. Protein can be add as half (previous regular) or full portion, more meat. Cold drink is included now without adding extra cost. Total price is about the same for what I paid. Service is fast especially at night. Less customer. No line. Still good place to have Cantonese Style Porridge. They have more side dishes, snacks, dessert. Have not try them all. This maybe hit or miss since the item are not their specialties. Ambience is the same. Now they add digital dine in using Toasttab. Serving station, condiments and water are now located at serving counter now. The old location become tray return area. The best part is NO TIP allowed. So low cost!

I thought the food was a little pricey but then I got it and it was literally so big like it could fill a whole family. Definitely so worth the price and soo delicious and filling. The Chinese donut was yummy and I also got the soy milk that was really good. There were many tables inside and the interior was really modern and clean. The service was fast and the system made it easy to order and get your food. Such a great experience!

We went on a weekday morning, and there wasn't a big crowd and no wait. The restaurant was clean, self-service cafeteria style where you order at entrance, then find your seat/get your condiments & utensils and wait for your food to be called. The menu included typical HK style breakfast/diner food: porridge, noodles, pork chop, eggs, spaghetti, Chinese donut, and rice roll. The food portion was generous, and the porridge was huge. One bucket can easily feed four people, so best to come with others if you want to try the comforting and homey porridge. The other dishes we tried were okay flavor, but the price was great for the amount of food you get. However, I did not like that they charge a fee for condense milk. Also, other HK diners included a complimentary hot or cold drink with a set of food order, but ChanKee charges 1.50 extra for cold drink; only hot drinks are complimentary. Three and half star bumped down to 3 stars.

If I can give 0' star I would. Got here on a Friday night, ordered food at 7:33pm. At 30 minutes mark (8:03pm) I went to the server and asked why does it take 30 minutes for spaghetti and fries. We ordered these items cuz we have kids and these are supposedly the easiest to make. I was told they are busy today and there are a lot of to go orders, I told him why would you prioritize Togo and Ignore dine in customer. At 8:08 mark we got a lukewarm spaghetti, at 8:16 mark we got the fries that's cold too. I'm still waiting for my tofu soup and it's almost an hour. I would not recommend toEat here at all as there are other HK restaurant in the area. If you can't handle the volume please turn off Togo or at least put up a sign outside!Ps just got my tofu soup and it's 8:23.
