I was surprised how much better I liked this place than Chipotle. Basically the same concept, but Mediterranean as opposed to Mexican (where have I been I know). I really loved the freshness of everything. I got a bowl with saffron rice & arugula with tzatziki, hummus and feta. My protein was the braised lamb shank, which was excellent. Basically topping wise I got everything which I probably should've said no to the stupid broccoli mix which gave me bubbly guts for the next six hours, I hate you broccoli. But everything else was phenomenal. I loved the pickles and pickled onions. That might be a theme that I love all things pickled. Either way this was a very solid lunch. I try to stay away from anything with a lot of seed oils, I know chipotle is full of them. I don't think this place is perfect, but I definitely felt better after than I would in a quick pick up spot and my daughter who accompanying me absolutely wasn't heaven she loved everything she tried in her chicken bowl. We will be back for sure.

I usually don't take time writing reviews, but today's experience was just terrible. I don't expect my bowl to be overflowing but it should not be half of the usual portion. The photos were taken before I ate. When I showed my bowl to a worker(who happened to be a manager) he just said that's their usual portion. When I said I've been getting food from there for years, he just repeated that it's the usual portion. That was DEFINITELY not true. At first I thought some toppings were missing so then he brought out a small portion of the eggplant. Then inside my bowl I found a tiny glop(literally a teaspoonful) of the eggplant so I returned it to him. Then I used a fork to show how little "salad" was actually in my bowl and he just grabbed extra salad and said, "that's good, right?" Well, no. There is a big problem with our interaction. If he's the manager that means people working there are not instructed to serve food with consistent portions, as can be evidenced by other reviewers who said they experienced inconsistent portions and quality. Second, not taking responsibly for their inconsistent portions is another big issue. He lacks customer service skills and should have acknowledged that it was less than usual from the beginning. And while he was getting the extra salad, other workers were laughing on the side. I'm not some customer who wants extra portions for free. I want the portion that I paid for to be made right. I do not enjoy bringing their attention to something they did not do right just as much as they probably didn't want to hear it. This is the closest location to me and I so wish that they would get it together so I can continue to go there.

This is probably the biggest CAVA location I've been to. Huge dining area, tons of seating & booths as well. I love the open kitchen set up as well. Unfortunately, this location was a disappointment. Around 2pm on a weekday, kitchen was fully staffed & one person was taking care of the entire line & cashier duties. With 4 people in front of me, it took 25 minutes to order. But the saddest part was the food. Grilled chicken bowl with super greens & basmati rice... and it was basically half a serving of greens & a sprinkle of rice & they didn't have some of the toppings, the chicken was almost nonexistent. Very unlike any other CAVA location I've been to & I've been to so many.

CAVA, located in a large Crossroads plaza near Target and across from Chipotle, offers a Mediterranean-inspired fast-casual dining experience. With plenty of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a convenient and comfortable spot. Be prepared for a line, especially on busy evenings like Sunday, as it's a popular choice for many. The menu is highly customizable. You can build your own bowl or pita by selecting your base, dip, main protein (two choices allowed), toppings, and dressing. Alternatively, they offer curated bowls and pitas for those seeking a quicker decision. I opted for a build-your-own bowl starting at $12.25, which is affordable given the generous portions and quality of ingredients. I prefer the Supergreen and saffron rice base with chicken and hummus. The food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--a great healthy yet tasty option for a quick meal. The service, though friendly, can be a bit slow, especially at the toppings station, as the customization process takes time. The ambiance is relaxed with an industrial vibe, featuring an open kitchen concept and background music. While the place was clean and well-maintained, the wait might deter some. A kiosk or paper menu system for pre-selection could streamline the process, and I'd recommend ordering online or through the app to skip the line altogether.Overall, CAVA is a delicious and budget-friendly option for Mediterranean-inspired fast food with ample customization, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's worth the visit if you're in the area and have the time to wait.

Crisp pita, fresh feta, and a host of veggies are just some of the things that set Cava apart from any other fast casual restaurant that I know. It is such a shame that Cava does not exist in Northern California, but on account of this I always treat myself to Cava when I'm in southern California, no matter how short the trip. The line is efficient, ordering is straightforward, and the meat is always fresh. I absolutely love all the mean choices that I've tried. The only protein that I've not yet had is the falafel, as I tend to opt for the higher protein-per-serving option. I love the babaganoush - wish I could buy it as a side in itself to take home, or as a dipping side to the pita chips. That's how good it is. The red pepper hummus is also solid - the sauces are the cherry on top to an already phenomenal bowl.

My husband and I love Cava. The reason why I give this location 4 stars is because the customer service wasn't good. The lady that was preparing the bowls wasn't very nice and she seemed annoyed to have to replenish the toppings that were almost done. When we were about to order, the lettuce and greens were basically out. Some of the toppings were basically done. Yet, it wasn't being replenished. I had to tell her I wanted it for her to go and bring it. The bowl was still delicious, regardless!
