Food: 5*Service: 5*Ambiance: 3*Very nice neighborhood spot. Tons of locals. It seems everyone knows one another. The establishment also appears to be family owned. The campechana was ample and very good. The menudo was delicious as well.

We have tried many salsas and the Nepal and Salsa Roja from Casa Martinez are favorites of ours. They cost more, but we feel worth the flavor.BUT the expiration on freshness is way off. We've had open jars in the refrigerator, with heavy MOLD on them, and the expiration is 6 months away. Very disappointing as this has happened with several jars and it's so terribly disgusting! As much as we like their salsas when they're fresh, this is a huge health concern and will never buy again.

We literally just left Casa Martinez and the chile relleno with cheese enchiladas, beans and rice plate were super cold. We ask the lady (owner) to reheat the plate, not sure if she did because it was still cold by this time I was very upset and asked for take home container. She heard me but went to the back instead of asking if I wanted something else or refund the cost of plate.
