I would absolutely recommend this place. Cheese plate, check. Biscuits....ummmm yes. Cocktails? Go during Halloween for the Evil Queen. It's a delicious poisonous apple martini.Go during the holidays....I saw A Muppet Christmas Carol props and costumes and had a delicious martini, Mary Pickford.I also tried an old fashioned. I loved it, was it strong yes. Was it good? If you're gonna do anything on the rocks go to Disney. Not sure what Magic they put in the drinks.

AMBIANCE:Fancy restaurant inside DCA. How have I never been here before! Like a mini getaway while inside the park! SERVICE:Service was quick and very attentive the entire time I dined here. Also came before the dinner rush so it wasn't super busy. FOOD:(All the food portions are very tiny) $26 PERUVIAN SASHIMI: 5 slices of yellowtail sashimi. $18 BAKED BRIE & ARTICHOKE TART: small appetizer, was tasty, but not what I expected? $52 SIGNATURE PORK CHOP: I'm not a huge fan of pork chops because it's usually cooked too dry for me. But my date liked it! $50(ish) FILET SPECIAL: it was an Indian spin on FILET. Came with lentils which were to die for! A chutney small dish, rice (which I didn't love. But overall I liked this and would order again if it was permanently on the menu.

A more high-end sit-down dining stop in Disney California Adventures. We combined reservations, so we were seated in the lounge area where there's more space. Their lounge food was decent, and drinks are classy! We definitely ordered the few. ;) If you have time to chill / hangout, it's worth checking out and booking a reservation.

A must have reservation at Disney california Adventure!Walking in, you don't feel like you're at Disney, but a very fancy restaurant that is based on the Casrthay Circle Theatre in the 1920s that premiered the original Disney's Snow White. The servers were so nice and always checked in on us! Our server even striked up a conversation with us and made us feel welcomed!Of course, the food was amazing!Harvest Squash Gnocchi with Braised Short Rib: Meat was tender, juicy, and kind of melted in the mouth along with the gnocchi. I think the sweetness of the squash paired well with the savory short rib. I also loved the sauce that layered the bottom of the dish!

This is definitely the highest end restaurant in Disney California adventure. It is an absolutely beautiful building. It's modeled after the carthay theater where the premiere of Snow White was celebrated. There is a less expensive car face circle lounge downstairs, which is also very good. The cocktails and food, although more of a limited choice, are fantastic. Tonight we were upstairs in the restaurant. As you would expect an old Hollywood building to be, it's panel with dark wood and a beautiful mural on the ceiling. Lots of arches and heavy velvet curtains. It really is just beautiful. Unfortunately we were seated in one of the rooms that wasn't quite as pretty, although very nice as well. I also have an upper level balcony, and although people were seated there, it was quite cold and I would not want to be out there. We ordered a gin and tonic, which included a glass full of gin and a small carafe full of time. You can make a drink as strong as you want and you definitely had more than one, which was good at the price tag of about $22. We also had an amaretto sour, which is my absolute favorite drink in the world, which was amazing! We ordered the Cheddar Parker House rolls, which came with Calabrian chili-pine nut romanesco butter. You do not get bread with your meal - - it must be ordered separately. I was not a fan of butter, but the boys really seem to like it. Those Parker house rolls were so soft and delicious I ordered the signature pork chop which came with holiday dressing and a tangerine pomegranate vinaigrette. We also ordered the calabrian style fish (red snapper) and the grilled half chicken. All ears absolutely fantastic. Well there were a few families with children, I don't know that I would go here if I had small kids in tow. I guess we all know how our children behave and what they want to eat, although there were some pretty good things on the kids menu as well. If you're looking for a relaxing, more adult experience, this place will be it. I will say though, I was surprised I had to box my own food. Most places where I spend $80 per person usually have someone box it up for you rather than just leav into a box and plastic bag at your table.

4++ One of the nicest restaurants in and around the DCA/Disney park area. It has that fantastic Disney service that you are familiar with and has almost what I would describe as an old timey Hollywood vibe. Oh and of course it's very kid friendly!I went here with my brother and his family. We were hungry and wanted to take a small break and get off our feet for a little bit. Came here without a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us (total of 5 - 3 adults, 2 kids). We didn't really order any of the larger entrees...we just ordered a few of the appetizers and a couple of items from the kids menu. I thought the food was really good! Creative in the flavors and presentation. For me personally, it was a little surprising or jarring to get this quality food at an amusement park. The real star for me was the old fashioned. Very delicious and well balanced in terms of the different ingredients. Not too bitter which I feel like some places put too much bitters in it. Just a really great restaurant located in DCA and a great place to step out of the heat if you go in the middle of summer. I imagine there's a bar somewhere in there if you just want to go in and grab a beer or a cocktail.

Classy restaurant inside the California Adventure theme park. Not same level as club 33 but really classy and elegant from old Hollywood and the Gatsby era. Dish size/ portion is pretty small but taste great! Service is also friendly and attentive. Appetizers:- spring roll with spicy crab- a bit too spicy in my opinion as it overpowers the dish. Also nice Plating - autumn salad with grapes and pear- very refreshing after a day at the theme park- red mole braised duck- tasty and juicyEntree:- organic roasted chicken breast with turmeric rice- good choice of ingredients combination. Just chicken was charred - pasta - can't go wrong- filet mignon beef skewers- average Advanced reservation is highly recommended.

By luck and determination, I surprisingly was able to get a reservation for my moms birthday. I wanted to make sure she had a special day and surprised her with a dinner at Carthay Circle. I recommend booking this in advance if this is a dining experience you really want to try. But you can always check a week prior to your desired date - I decided to check everyday an hour or two before dinner time since you must cancel at least 2 hours prior to your reservation to avoid a fee. I recommend the restaurant over the alfresco dining any day, I found the alfresco dining dishes to be just alright in comparison. You can choose to either take the stairs or elevator, if it is your first time then the hostess usually recommends taking the elevator as it shows a photo from the original carthay circle theater. We were seated near the lanai area and not the main room near the elevator/stairs where you enter from. I would have preferred to sit in the main room with the Snow White painted murals but sitting near the patio was nice because they didnt blast the AC as much and you could people watch down below. I will say the seats felt a lot more cramped by the patio and not ideal if you go to the bathroom a lot or feel claustrophobic.I shared my entree and appetizer which was the Braised short rib and Spanish Croquettes. You can never go wrong with Braised short rib imo, super yummy with the squash puree sauce. My parents shared the Pork chop which was humongous but surprisingly super tender and soft, as well as the pasta with uni butter. No the bread is sadly not included but i've always wanted to try it after watching MagicJourney's on youtube. The bread was soft and the butter is mixed with calabrian chili for some heat. Service was phenomenal, probably the one of the best i've had in all the Disney parks i've visited. Not a restaurant I would eat at on every visit but very nice for special occasions or if you wanted to treat yourself/family every once in awhile.

This was our second time here, and both my wife and I came away with a strong sense of "meh". It's a nice place, the food was well-prepared, and I don't feel any need to come back.To be positive: The food (pork chop, paella, croquette appetizer) was tasty and well-prepared; no complaints. Service was excellent. Physically a nice place; we were off on the side room, which wasn't great (a bit cold here in SoCal January :), but basically ok.So why am I cranky? The menu was just... weird. Does the chef have something against vegetables? There were six entree options, none of which were vegetarian (a couple of fish options, but no full veg). No salads, AT ALL, whether full dinner or even just a side salad. If you were a real veg person, you could maybe put together a meal from the appetizers, but only three of the eight were meat-free, and only one of those would be ok for a vegan. The only option for any sort of veg with your entree (except for a few beans with the beef dish) was a side-ordered bowl of brussel sprouts "for the table". Um, "not to my taste" is the saying, I think. To be clear, I'm a full-on meat eater, but I *do* like to have something green with a meal like this, as opposed to just having a plate of meat and starch. And if we had brought our vegetarian daughter, I'm not sure what we would have done. Again, what we had *was* good, but this was not the menu of the kind of restaurant you're expecting going in. It's an executive chef / CDC problem, not an execution problem. So, no, we won't be coming back. If you're in the parks and are looking to drop $250+ on a dinner for two (two entrees, appetizer, drinks, wine, and coffee), I'm confident that you'll do MUCH better at Napa Rose or Paseo. I'd go back to either of those places in a heartbeat.
