Carniceria Tierra Bella

so this isn't the name of the carniceria anymore....taqueria el rey is next to the carniceria inside the market. good sized burrito. liked the asada and the green salsa. would definitely be back if in the area.

Carniceria Y Taqueria Tierra Bella is a hidden gem located in the back of a small Mexican grocery store. My coworkers and I came here for tacos and we were pleasantly surprised that the grocery store had 5 little tables in the back. This spot has plenty of things to order. Tacos, Burritos, Tortas, Sopes, Quesadillas and more. My coworkers and I all ordered Tacos.Prices per Taco: - $1.25: asada, al pastor, pollo, chorizo, chicharron, carnitas, birria- $1.55: guisado, cabeza, lengua- $2.25: tripa, ranchera I had 3 tacos: carnitas, al pastor and lengua. I liked the carnitas the most and I was most disappointed in the lengua. My coworkers tried a variety of tacos and I heard the asada and the pollo is pretty good too. Not the best tacos in the word, but for these prices, they are great. Ask for their special sauces. They keep the condiments in the fridge and there a yummy avocado sauce and a spicy sauce. We would definitely come back here for a quick and affordable meal!

They have a hidden restaurant inside!!!! I was craving tacos and thought of this place since I remember seeing a sign about them opening a new taqueria inside the store. It's hidden in the back and it's not that big. They have a few tables and most people were taking orders to go but my BF and I dined in. We ordered a couple of tacos each ($1) and shared a Carne Asada quesadilla ($5). You can choose what ever meat you want in the quesadilla and it was big enough to share. They also had agua de tamarindo which was really good. I have to say I was really impressed with the tacos, especially the chicharon tacos OMG they were so good!!! It tasted very authentic just like my moms cooking. The Carne Asada was also very flavorful and the al pastor was decent. But OMG that chicharon taco was incredible!!! I will definitely be back for that taco!! I don't think I have ever had a chicharon taco that has blown me away like this one ever.

We were craving their famous guaraches and we made a quick stop. We were so disappointed. Apparently they have a new owner and name changed to Carniceria el Rey. They no longer have huaraches, sopes. They didn't have any combination plate either at 12:00 P.M. I am guessing they are not 100% ready. I hope they add the huaraches and sopes back to the menu.

This place reminds me of my neighborhood market but in orange lolHonestly, I wasn't expecting to find a place like this at that location. I was first going to try Cali Tacos but it was too packed. I found this one (as always) on Yelp.I ordered al pastor nachos. They were sooo good, the meat tasted crisp!

I used to live not too far from this location. Hands down, some of the best carne asada in Orange County. However, I recently went there yesterday to buy carne asada on the way to the beach and holy $&/! $16.99/lb for their Carne Asada?? That is just obscene. I still bought it because I don't know anywhere else to go as I was already driving through that area on my way to Huntington. It's great Carne, but I give it 4 stars because there pricing is just too high. Probably won't be coming back here because I moved away and I rather spend time looking local for a more affordable option.

Pros:Cheapest tacos in town. They are also stuffed more than any other place I've been to. And they also have $1 taco Tuesday's! Basic little sitting area is nice too.Con:A minor con. Not the tastiest tacos out there. But by no means bad.

Very good Tacos on Taco Tuesday only $1 ... Wow! Come hungry because you will walk out FULL. Staff is friendly and super fast. Did I mention only 1

This is the best hole in wall place I have found for Taco Tuesday,they have Tortas for just $5bucks on Wednesdays and they're just as great!try their pepino with chia seeds Agua Fresca its the besssssssssst! the ladies there are super nice

It's a small taco place located in the back of a small supermarket. I wouldn't find this place if it wasn't my friend who took me there. The menu is in Spanish, but I believe the lady can speak English. They let you add onions, green onions, and a variety of homemade sauces. If you can't take spicy, beware of the sauces! The meat is really moist. The price is acceptable. I will come back again for the meat!
