Caramelo Cafe

My husband and I came here for breakfast and were extremely satisfied with what we ordered. I had the green Chilaquiles and Cafe de Olla. So what can I say...... The green chile was excellent! It was a bit spicy and had a hint of lemon and tomatillo taste to it. The chips were crunchy with a mix of some soft ones. They were perfect in my opinion. I ordered my eggs "over medium" and those were perfect too.I will definitely be a returning customer here at Caramelo Cafe.

Cozy brunch I have gone to caramelo cafe for about 8 years and always enjoyed their flavors of brunch.In my most recent visit on a Sunday for brunch, we were left a bit disappointed as it didn't compare to previous visits. The pricing for some items seem a bit overpriced and the wait time to receive our food took quite some time. A friend had ordered waffles and that took longer than our panini plates.The potatoes are my favorite and I recommend their skillets or crepes. This location has a small indoor space and a decent size outdoor space, it does tend to get crowds midday so get there early.

We recently visited this new location in Valinda, and it was a fresh experience for us. When we arrived, the staff were attentive and quickly put together a table for our group of five on the charming outdoor patio. The service throughout our meal was consistently good and attentive, making us feel well-cared for.The menu offers a variety of options, with many meals being à la carte, so keep that in mind as it can add up. We sampled a variety of dishes, including eggs, pancakes, bacon, crepes, and chilaquiles. The food was enjoyable overall, although some items were only warm when they reached our table.Despite this, we appreciated the effort put into the meal and found it to be a pleasant dining experience. There are many more options to explore, but we encourage you to try it out and share your thoughts. It's always exciting to discover new places and flavors!

Opted for the Valinda location, and my party of 3 was seated immediately. Fernando, our server, was kind and took great care of us. Our food and drink orders were placed and served to us quickly. I enjoyed my skillet and loved the option of getting a large pancake as my side!

Best Local Cafe in La Puente. Everything from presentation, taste, service, and ambiance definitely SERVES 10/10. Come check them out

3.5 StarsStopped in for breakfast and had an okay experience. Staff is friendly, but when they're busy, service is a little frantic. It's not the quickest, and there doesn't seem to be assigned tables for the waitresses, so you may have several people interacting with you.We started with coffee, mine a Blended Iced Coffee Caramel ($6.07) and my wife had the Special Coffee ($5.92), both topped with whipped cream. For our entrées, I ordered the Laredo Skillet ($21.29), topped with two eggs (although the menu states three). Once again, my wife had the Sweet Crepe Combo ($16.09) with two eggs and two strips of bacon. Both dishes were very filling, and I was able to take home leftovers for breakfast the next day. The food is quite tasty, no complaints here.Indoor and covered patio dining areas available. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. Still a decent place to eat if you don't mind a little wait.

Love this spot! Delicious food, big portions, great beverage options, etc. The absolute best Mexican breakfast. The Texan skillet is so good and filling for 3 people! Only downside the prices for the drinks are way too high. Made the check 25 more dollars just for 3 drinks. Overall, love to come here.

Food was delicious. Crunchy chilaquiles with pecan coffee. SERVICE WAS GREAT . I will be back to try the crepa and the omelette.

The All American Breakfast was superb! There's a reason why it's said that it's good for if you're not that hungry still filled me up! Also Maria was a great server with a positive attitude she made sure we were having a good time! And over all the service was one of the best I've ever experienced!
