Stopped by earlier this week for dinner with some friends and decided to get some tacos since they were half price on Tuesday and they were delicious!I ordered 3 tacos with 3 different proteins and they were birria, carnitas, and ahi tuna. My favorite of the 3 was the ahi tuna. It was refreshing and flavorful and a good contrast to the other 2 meat options which were also both tasty. Each taco was loaded with protein and various toppings. The salsas they give you also have a good kick of heat.I also ordered the corn tots which were good and something that I had never heard of before. They were topped with salsa and queso fresco cheese. The texture was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It reminded me of a lighter hush puppy in a way. A good item to share with friends for sure.Service was helpful and friendly and I had my food in 10 minutes. It's located in Rodeo 39 so it's fairly busy with people walking around. They do have some seating or you can seat yourself at one of the other tables available in the main area.

I take reviewing a business very seriously because I really want to showcase what a business is doing well and maybe where they can improve to drive business up! Capas really excels at great customer service. That is their real highlight Unfortunately I had 2 separate friends try Capas and all 3 of us wanted more from the food. I think maybe a different shell on the tacos might help possibly. My friend tried the burrito and it gave more of a wrap vibe. They didn't like the dressing or sauce they got for it. I would be totally come back and try new food items they craft!

This place just wasn't for me. I mainly tried since it was newer here at Rodeo and thought to give it a go. Would I try again? No thanks. I ordered one burnt ends birria taco, one ahi taco and the burnt ends birria quesadilla. I do not like onions, but there is no option for "no onions" and it was order from a kiosk. Well there were onions on everything and the taste/flavor of the tacos and quesadilla were not to my liking.Maybe others might like the flavor but the burnt ends just left a bad taste and it should have an option of no onions as there is one for "no pico" and "no cilantro". Cannot recommend.

I ordered the "burnt ends burrito" and had a very disappointing experience. 1. It is more of a shredded beef or barbacoa vs burnt end ...deceptive 2. I was asked if I wanted the burrito mission style. They explained it would come with rice and beans. I thought of this as a side and it was a $5 up-charge. Instead, it was just adding rice and beans to my burrito. Seems steep for basic rice and beans + guacamole, but a great way to charge you $20 for a basic burrito. Would never come back ....

The food is really good. I expected more of a Mexican flavor profile but ended up being more American bbq flavors! Still really good. I got the Burnt Ends Burrito with chips n salsa. The salsa they give is a green salsa but with a "mustard-y" vibe. Would recommend!!

I've only tried the Ahi Tuna Crudo Taco, so this review is just for that. My cousin ordered three of them, and we all tried one each. I usually don't order fish tacos, and I liked that these were in crispy shells. They were good, and with that salsa it came with... even better. That salsa was so good. It made the tacos absolutely delicious. We even kept the extra salsa for our other food.

Located in Rodeo 39 public market. Once you enter, head straight forward and you can order at the bearded tang brewing or you can head left from the bar and order at Capas. Behind Tenori. The menu drew us in to try some tacos. The wait was a bit but nicely packaged and kept warm till we were ready to consume. Tried the birria burrito, sweet potato and birria tacos. It was missing something. Needed more spice definitely, salt and seasoning. Maybe some sort of pickled salsa slaw or just more citrusy uplifting note to enhance flavors and add a crunch somewhere. There's a lot of potential but just missed the mark. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very generous with everything you'll need for a meal on the go. Efficient order pick up. Service exceeded expectation. Very clean and organized space. Two four top tables available for customers. Nice little nook in this market.

Food was not good, I should have checked the Yelp review before ordering. Once the food arrived the rice was only half cooked so when I chewed it was crunchy. The food looked so farrrr off than what it showed on the menu photo, I got the burnt end burrito, it was so watery and when I picked it up everything fell out! It wasn't even folded correctly. We told them that the rice wasn't cooked they said will make us another one, when they gave us the food back they said all their rice was kinda uncooked so they removed all the rice in our burritos and gave it back to us. I mean come on, service 101 you could have asked if that's what we wanted first especially we have been sitting in front of you the whole time. In any case, do not recommend, food was horrible!
